Egg White Powder and water is basically the same as an egg white. You can pretty much do anything with that you'd do with a raw egg white. It's basically rehydrated dehydrated egg white. It may behave slightly different depending on the processing and of course the amount of water you use. Not having to separate eggs all the time, being easier to measure consistently, being pasteurized and a longer shelf life are obviously advantages though.

I made this yesterday and formed it into my silicone hamburger bun pan. It made 12 buns and they were so good! I had a bacon cheeseburger yesterday and today. I love soft bread! So simple and satisfying. I'm excited to use my hotdog bun pan for summer cookouts! Thank you so much Maria. You're helping change lives by making eating nutrient dense food so simple. I just want to see the recipe done efficiently not have a child who in the end has the mix all over his hands and has to hand over to someone else. I loooove this recipe! Egg powder is expensive but my family eats so many eggs it’s just easier for me to buy the powder. I make 2 loaves a week! This tastes so much like white bread. I can’t imagine a recipe any better. It has helped me so much.

If you find it useful to watch a kid basically making a mess while he has orders called out from across the room and in the end has the mix all over his hands so someone has to take over, then good luck to you. I find it distracting, non entertaining and gross.
definitely will give this a try! right now on vacay and I brought PSMD bread (not) cuz I added 2 egg yolks at the finish when using liquid whites and 2 fresh whites, and wanted to use the yolks. It turned out great, made buns and have been using them as substitutes for bread/rolls at restaurants. Can't tell you how much I appreciate this bread recipe, it has been a life changer for me, now able to enjoy bread daily if I want. thank YOU thank you

Trying it this way today because I ran out of eggs 😱 It wasn’t as fluffy when I finished mixing it but it is rising a bit in the oven. Made two batches. So grateful to have this recipe since my husband is constantly making bread, in the bread machine, like every other day. The bread smell just pulls at me so I have to have a low carb option so I don’t get weak. Lol!
I wanted to make your angelfood cake recipe yesterday. I realized it called for real egg whites and flavored egg white powder. I improvised. I hate separating egg whites. So I used plain egg white powder, allulose, cream of tartar, salt and almond extract. Baked it and it was good! I ate 4 pieces. It did t need to cook as long because of the allulose over browning. Thanks for helping me along the adventure.

Finally got around to making this, I think I purchased the egg white powder a few months ago. I really like it, doesn’t have the dryness of most of the almond flour breads I made. At last something to sop up egg yolk 👍 I did use some Allulose, so the top was nicely browned. I did find the crust a bit bitter though, perhaps I need more Allulose? I used maybe 1/2 the recommended amount.

Yes, use whatever sweetener you have not liquid. It won’t brown as well, but the texture is the same.

After you've incorporated the powdered whites into the whipped whites. Do not over mix or it will turn out like styrofoam 🙏

Tastes delicious! It's protein sparing because the macros are high protein, very low fat and very low carb :)
