I made the pizza version tonight. I added garlic powder & Italian herbs. When the base was cooked, I turned it over and added the toppings and then cooked for another 20mins. It was superb! Made two more bases for the freezer. Yum 😋
I like the new version better. There were never any issues for me with the original recipe BUT the texture of the bread with only the powder is so good! Thank you Maria!
I make the regular recipe and add cocoa powder and erythritol for chocolate cake. So yummy. You can also add all different extracts to flavor it. Almond is so good in the angel food. I just made pizza today. Delicious.

With that amount of egg white powder does the bread have the styrofoam hard to swallow texture? For bread I've been using bone broth collagen to replace some of the egg white powder and that seems to make it a bit easier to swallow. I haven't tried Angel food cakes using all powder yet. It's nice that your kids get to help you in the kitchen!
Really depends on the recipe and technique used. Typically being too stiff comes from over whipping after adding the protein powder to the whites in my recipes. :)

I love this bread but I'm confused by the amount of carbs in it. If I enter this recipe into my Carb Manager and I divide the recipe into 12 slices, my recipes says each slice is 5 carbs. I find it difficult to fit this into a PSMF day when I can only have a maximum of 10 carbs. Am I doing something wrong?
@@bhampatty1 Thank you so much for your response. I am including the carbs from allulose. My understanding is when doing PSMF you are supposed to use total carbs, not net carbs. I was pretty sure I understood that from Maria Emmerich's site. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
@@bethspangler5731 It's confusing, I know. But this group DOES count total carbs except for allulose, because it doesn't get digested. I'm not one to fully explain it to you. I'm a lay person! LOL! Maybe a moderator can chime in here and give a better explanation.
I don't add allulose because I count total not net. The only thing I see allulose does is makes it darker, I don't taste a difference. I'd rather have a light crust and no carbs.

Thank you for the video. Does using only the powder decrease the egg flavor? I’ve done the egg white version several times with multiple seasonings and I can’t seem to lose the egg flavor. One of the hardest parts of being carnivore for me has been my dislike of the taste of eggs.
I saw "protein sparing modified fast ". Quoted in a book that was Dr Adkins. New Diet Revolution it was printed in 1992. So no PSMF. Is not an original idea from Craig Also. I tried the new recipe. My bread was hard and very dry. I had to dunk it in my coffee just to be able to eat it. Any clue as to what I did wrong?

I buy it in such large bulk that I'm truly not sure. But, it also depends on what variation you are making (original 2-ingredient VS Easiest, etc) 🙏

Let it whip. Some have reported that it took more time. Maybe be careful with the temperature of the water.

Depending on the mixer and environment, it can take longer. Like 20-30 minutes or more. And make sure the water is room temp. :)

When you figure your carbs, are you deducting for the allulose? If not, that is where the extra carbs are coming from.

I don't know why but mixing the pulver with water never turned to merengue. Never had issue with the egg whites before. What did i did wrong?

The hand mixer didn't work for me with this recipe but does great with the original recipe that includes liquid egg whites.

If your bowl you mix it in, has any oil or fat., it won't whip up. Hope this is helpful.
