- On "My Car Story" we're in Rosemont IL on 3-1-14 at the World Of Wheels.
We're looking at a 1964 ½ Ford Mustang.
The car's Owner is Gail Wise (and her husband Tom). She is the ORIGINAL Owner to the VERY 1st Mustang sold in the United States.

Great ride. Kudos to Gail for saving it. Too think one moment it would have been crushed. So now we know a young lady purchased the first Mustang, what do you say gear heads? Lou, too bad you didn't know to feature the ID plate, on the door or cowl. Oh well, it was 2014.

Wonder what happened to that salesman when his boss found out he sold a mustang 2 days before it was suppose to come out maybe he wanted to make a sale since she wanted a convertible and knew now was the time to make a sale that resulted into history.
That's easy, he got a promotion for selling a car :-)

Who doesn't love the original Mustang! #1 At That! I loved my '66. It was Copper colored with a black interior. It had the simple V6 engine and standard interior. I loved it every time I drove it. It started giving me problems and instead of fixing it, I traded it in for a 1975 Mustang, also Copper colored, with a 302 V8, deluxe interior. I was never sorry....until now! HA HA.. Great video. Beautiful car.

Copper was my favorite. My father purchased a 1936 Hudson in Copper metallic. So rich and gorgeous.

My Dad had this car with red interior and red stripes below the doors. I remember riding in it on the Ohio turnpike going to Cedar Point.

@@loucostabile yes sir 1979 i bugged my dad to drive to Florida and he bought me. 1966 coupe in nice shape I drove it back to Rochester in March no heat but my fist car no problem great video thank you
I had a 1967 Coupe Mustang with a 289 and C4 trans. It had factory a/c power steering and a 4bbl carb.I miss that car it was maroon outside with black inside
