  • Nólsoy is a picturesque island located in the central Faroe Islands, just a short 20-minute ferry ride east of the capital, Tórshavn. It's known for its charming village, also named Nólsoy, which is characterised by colourful homes and a close-knit community. The island's population is around 230 people, and it's a popular spot for birdwatching, especially for the large number of migratory birds that visit the island. The highest point on Nólsoy is Eggjarklettur, rising 372 meters above sea level, offering stunning views of the surrounding sea. The island has a rich history, with ruins in Korndalur linked to the legendary Princess of Nólsoy. Despite its small size, Nólsoy is full of life and activities, making it an attractive destination for those looking to experience the tranquillity and beauty of the Faroe Islands.
