@Ciorno2K What's wrong with not exploring the what-ifs and just being humorous or not being serious and not having a story? Not every multiverse is meant to be one way. Some, like in some cartoons, are just temporary and are played for comedy. Not every multiverse needs to be a deep what-if scenario. It can do other things.
When Ben 23 as upgrade merged with prime Ben's clockwork back in the day, my child brain was blown to actual bits. Omniverse used the multiverse in such a cool way. I'll always love the fact that the reason why Ben prime even exists is because of no watch Ben learning what it means to be a real hero with the Omnitrix.
Honestly my brain as kid was blown when Robin in ttg thought of a niche idea to escape prison is to STAY in there so in future when they would be escorted from prison they would prepare time machine to come back and free themselves creating paradox like what 💀

What if Ben got the Omnitrix and turned evil? The way i understood Ben 10 K was every time Ben meets his future self the future changes. That future timeline branches off the prime timeline and becomes it's own alternative reality.

I think what makes me really like Ben 10 doing multiverse stuff is outside of albedo it’s the only real way we see more omnitrix users in the franchise while in every other hero media there’s a 100 dudes with the main guy’s exact power set in the main universe anyways lol
Marvel used to be like this, until they realized they stagnated the main universe characters by retelling the same stories. So when the alternative version of those characters got popular, like Miles and Gwen, they just brought everyone to the main 616 universe.
In an alternate universe, Azmuth sold the Omnitrix to Argit to pay off some debts and Argit then uses the Omnitrix to become rich. I think it was also confirmed that "The Argitrix" have a human transformation in it. :)
With the Ben 10K thing I always interpreted it as a sort of a "Future Ben if he never meets his younger self" scenario, where if he interacts with Ben he's no longer the end point of Prime Ben's timeline.
Ben 10 and the concept of Multiverse are a match made in heaven. Episodes about that topic are usually top tier and the comics can use that to make some great stories or standalone what ifs I can get invested in some of the crazy stuff.
9:40 I did hear about the "rex is his universes ben" theory. Between ben tracking down the mr smoothy we see in the show and an "everything everywhere all at once" style mentality it makes total sense
I still love the possibilities that came with omniverse's multiverse, specially how it inspired different and thematic types of Omnitrix in the fandom, I'm glad that regained popularity recently

It's thanks to Ben 10 that I started liking multiverse movies. I was also never a huge fan of Gwen 10 or even Ken 10 (it's a hot take I know), but I do love all the multiverse episodes in OV, especially the good Bens vs the bad Bens two-parter.
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who wasn’t a huge fan of Gwen 10 because of how belittled Ben gets. Especially when a season later, they body swap and Gwen struggles with the Omnitrix. That made me more irked.

While I do love multiverse episodes that we got in the series and very interested in them exploring evil Ben's homeworld(especially Benzarro). I also wish they show more other Omnitrix users other than variations of Ben/Gwen too. Kinda like how they're different Spider-Man in Spiderverse. After all, the Omnitrix was always meant for Max, and Ben found out it by accident. Maybe they could have Max or Kevin show up with the Omnitrix or just a completely new character who found it before the Tennyson family in that trip to the forest

i think my favorite alternate ben is gwen 10! Mostly because we've known her the longest aside from prime ben and ben10k. I think it's just so cool that we technically saw her first appearance and it's the same gwen that shows up later. I personally would've liked to see her homme world most of all, to see how their roles are swapped in the ultimate alien era.

What’s even crazier is that TMNT did the Multiverse even before this with Turtles Forever back in 2009. Also on the note of Ben 10, before the original series was made one of the concepts was that instead of different aliens, the Omnitrix would switch Ben into different versions of himself from the multiverse. They decided to go with aliens for simplicity’s take though since it was the very early 2000s.
Yeah, but Turtles Forever was still more on fanservice with a story rather than actually exploring the multiverse and encountering many other turtles. They only went to one universe, and it's just the 90s show universe rather than a multiverse in the 2003 show with different versions of themselves in alternate events of said 2003 show like Ben 10 and others after it.

It didn't go one by one exploring them all but neither did spider-verse or multiverse of madness or any others, they just explored a handful of them and showed the rest existing. They showed the 2003 verse, the 87 turtles verse and the original Mirage Comics universe. Also 2003 shredder's whole thing after returning was to destroy the multiverse (or all the turtles from the multiverse I can't remember) but the biggest point of it was to show a crossover between the most prominent versions. But the craziest thing was it wasn't even Marvel or DC and it did it before any of them (in a major capacity, I know 90s and JL TAS did it) which is what I was saying

I didn't say explore one by one either, I mean, going into a bunch of different universes and including them for the main story or stories in the case of Ben 10. Turtles Forever only focused on the two. It also was only for the different incarnations instead of other possible paths for the 2003 turtles. Like alternate universes where some things happened differently than in the story of the 2003 series. Ben 10 and Spiderverse did alternate versions of events and possibilities in the life of the spider people as opposed to different Spider-Man shows or movies like Turtles Forever. It's not like an alternate universe where Splinter never became a rat or where one of the turtles died. It's a crossover of the old TMNT show and comics temporarily. It doesn't really add much to anything or to the characters if you swapped them out with actual alternate versions besides nostalgia.

Besides crossover episodes, my earliest introduction to a multiverse story was the Owlman episodes from Batman: The Brave and the Bold (as far as I remember). However, the longest multiverse story I can think of is actually from Adventure Time; from season 4-5 ish all the way to the Fionna and Cake spinoff, that's about 12 years of multiverse content. As for Ben 10, I think the most interesting use of the multiverse concept was the exploration of Mad Ben's world. Unlike Ben 23 where meeting him in his dimension was kind of a given, the evil Bens weren't guaranteed extra screen time, so taking the time to flesh out Mad Ben's universe after introducing him was a nice surprise. It made me wish at least one more of the evil Bens got a spotlight episode. That being said, something that always bugged me about the squad of evil Bens is that they were all variations of 16 year old Ben whereas their heroic counterparts were all different ages. The idea of an alternate Ben is even flexible enough to include Gwen, so it might've been interesting if 1 or 2 of the evil Bens was just a completely different character wearing an Omnitrix.

Just like the DCAU is the first big superhero cinematic universe with a perfect cast and well written characters 10 years before the MCU I think people don’t appreciate it just because it’s animated
1. I know is just for the sake of a catchy title in the video, but Marvel, DC and many more did the Multiverse before Ben 10. 2. Multiverse movies get a bad rap, but most of them are good, maybe a little too many of them back to back. 3. Gwen 10 is a great "What if" story, and i don't mind the way Ben is treated in the episode, because as a protagonist Ben is always a little arrogant/full of himself, so i think it's fine that every now and then the show gets to take Ben down a peg. 4. Goodbye and good riddance doesn't make sense as a "What if" story, because aside from the "comic book" ending and the changes in AF, this is just a normal Ben10 episode. 5. Time heals is just your standard time travel episode, not much to say about it besides that i think it is the last time we see Hex as a villain. 6. I think it makes sense that every time that Ben10K appears he is different, since the future is always changing. 7. I think is kind of cool that Gen Rex is another universe in the Ben 10 Multiverse, there is even a variant of Rex in the Ben 10 Reboot. 8. All the Ben 10 variants introduced in OV are cool, is a shame that the show didn't have more time the explore each one of them, also kind of neat that there are as much evil Bens as there are heroic ones. 9. Is a shame that you didn't talk much of Alien X-Tinction, you mention it at 16:15, but i think there is so much more to say about it.
I rewatched Store 23 fairly recently and honestly I wish it had been a 45 minute special or a two parter. I wish we had been able to see more of the vulnerable side of Ben 23 and how he feels with Max gone, but the runtime just didn’t allow for the breathing room

About meeting Ben 10K - I think every Ben 10K they meet is that specific Ben's future version till they meet due to time travel, after which the Ben 10K version changes.

My first time was experiencing the 90s multiverse in Spider-Man show and he met a person with no powers and was just a actor playing Spider-Man and he was actually pretty chill finding out his a fictional character and met stan Lee and had a conversation with him and the hilarious comment from stan on the rooftop saying maybe the fantastic four might come and give him a ride and the comment to Madame webb complimenting her which a lot of people don't know the woman who voices her was his wife
The way ben 10K works is that each time prime ben meets his future self that is who he will become if he doesnt change his current path in life, but by meeting and learning from these older versions of himself he alters his own future, like the original Ben 10K did not remember or know that his past self would show up because HE didnt do it. Prime ben didn't like that the first ben 10K was kind of an asshole who didnt have time for his family. The ben 10K in UAF kept the ulitmatrix so when Prime ben got the Perfect Omnitrix from azmuith that created the final Ben 10K in Omniverse who eventually modifies and upgrades the perfect Omnitrix into the biotrix which has fusions.
Really?, X-men 1992 and 1994 TAS Spiderman are the first ones, X-men took the string theory, while spiderman is the true multiverse before even multiversal spiderman was introduced in the comic (even before clone saga & 2099).
Now I think that when Gwen travelled through time did not create an alternative universe but just changed the main one. The 2 What If of classic tecnically are not canon even in the multiverse but you can normally use them. Ben 10K is a whole topic and I think that also The Forge Of Creation episode talks about the multiverse, not how you think but it does.

Ben 10 and the concept of Multiverse are a match made in heaven. Episodes about that topic are usually top tier and the comics can use that to make some great stories or standalone what ifs I can get invested in some of the crazy stuff.

It's thanks to Ben 10 that I started liking multiverse movies. I was also never a huge fan of Gwen 10 or even Ken 10 (it's a hot take I know), but I do love all the multiverse episodes in OV, especially the good Bens vs the bad Bens two-parter.
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who wasn’t a huge fan of Gwen 10 because of how belittled Ben gets. Especially when a season later, they body swap and Gwen struggles with the Omnitrix. That made me more irked.

While I do love multiverse episodes that we got in the series and very interested in them exploring evil Ben's homeworld(especially Benzarro).
I also wish they show more other Omnitrix users other than variations of Ben/Gwen too. Kinda like how they're different Spider-Man in Spiderverse. After all, the Omnitrix was always meant for Max, and Ben found out it by accident. Maybe they could have Max or Kevin show up with the Omnitrix or just a completely new character who found it before the Tennyson family in that trip to the forest

i think my favorite alternate ben is gwen 10! Mostly because we've known her the longest aside from prime ben and ben10k. I think it's just so cool that we technically saw her first appearance and it's the same gwen that shows up later. I personally would've liked to see her homme world most of all, to see how their roles are swapped in the ultimate alien era.

What’s even crazier is that TMNT did the Multiverse even before this with Turtles Forever back in 2009. Also on the note of Ben 10, before the original series was made one of the concepts was that instead of different aliens, the Omnitrix would switch Ben into different versions of himself from the multiverse. They decided to go with aliens for simplicity’s take though since it was the very early 2000s.
That multiverse varinet concept is the original concept of ben 10, it was this concept which impressed the cn to make the show

Yeah, but Turtles Forever was still more on fanservice with a story rather than actually exploring the multiverse and encountering many other turtles. They only went to one universe, and it's just the 90s show universe rather than a multiverse in the 2003 show with different versions of themselves in alternate events of said 2003 show like Ben 10 and others after it.

It didn't go one by one exploring them all but neither did spider-verse or multiverse of madness or any others, they just explored a handful of them and showed the rest existing. They showed the 2003 verse, the 87 turtles verse and the original Mirage Comics universe. Also 2003 shredder's whole thing after returning was to destroy the multiverse (or all the turtles from the multiverse I can't remember) but the biggest point of it was to show a crossover between the most prominent versions. But the craziest thing was it wasn't even Marvel or DC and it did it before any of them (in a major capacity, I know 90s and JL TAS did it) which is what I was saying
@KOFNY but they didn't actually explore the multiverse like Spiderverse or Ben 10 and mainly focused on the two universes for most of the time for the story. I didn't say explore one by one either, I mean, going into a bunch of different universes and including them for the main story or stories in the case of Ben 10. Turtles Forever only focused on the two.
It also was only for the different incarnations instead of other possible paths for the 2003 turtles. Like alternate universes where some things happened differently than in the story of the 2003 series. Ben 10 and Spiderverse did alternate versions of events and possibilities in the life of the spider people as opposed to different Spider-Man shows or movies like Turtles Forever.
It's not like an alternate universe where Splinter never became a rat or where one of the turtles died. It's a crossover of the old TMNT show and comics temporarily. It doesn't really add much to anything or to the characters if you swapped them out with actual alternate versions besides nostalgia.

Besides crossover episodes, my earliest introduction to a multiverse story was the Owlman episodes from Batman: The Brave and the Bold (as far as I remember). However, the longest multiverse story I can think of is actually from Adventure Time; from season 4-5 ish all the way to the Fionna and Cake spinoff, that's about 12 years of multiverse content.
As for Ben 10, I think the most interesting use of the multiverse concept was the exploration of Mad Ben's world. Unlike Ben 23 where meeting him in his dimension was kind of a given, the evil Bens weren't guaranteed extra screen time, so taking the time to flesh out Mad Ben's universe after introducing him was a nice surprise. It made me wish at least one more of the evil Bens got a spotlight episode.
That being said, something that always bugged me about the squad of evil Bens is that they were all variations of 16 year old Ben whereas their heroic counterparts were all different ages. The idea of an alternate Ben is even flexible enough to include Gwen, so it might've been interesting if 1 or 2 of the evil Bens was just a completely different character wearing an Omnitrix.

1. I know is just for the sake of a catchy title in the video, but Marvel, DC and many more did the Multiverse before Ben 10.
2. Multiverse movies get a bad rap, but most of them are good, maybe a little too many of them back to back.
3. Gwen 10 is a great "What if" story, and i don't mind the way Ben is treated in the episode, because as a protagonist Ben is always a little arrogant/full of himself, so i think it's fine that every now and then the show gets to take Ben down a peg.
4. Goodbye and good riddance doesn't make sense as a "What if" story, because aside from the "comic book" ending and the changes in AF, this is just a normal Ben10 episode.
5. Time heals is just your standard time travel episode, not much to say about it besides that i think it is the last time we see Hex as a villain.
6. I think it makes sense that every time that Ben10K appears he is different, since the future is always changing.
7. I think is kind of cool that Gen Rex is another universe in the Ben 10 Multiverse, there is even a variant of Rex in the Ben 10 Reboot.
8. All the Ben 10 variants introduced in OV are cool, is a shame that the show didn't have more time the explore each one of them, also kind of neat that there are as much evil Bens as there are heroic ones.
9. Is a shame that you didn't talk much of Alien X-Tinction, you mention it at 16:15, but i think there is so much more to say about it.

I rewatched Store 23 fairly recently and honestly I wish it had been a 45 minute special or a two parter. I wish we had been able to see more of the vulnerable side of Ben 23 and how he feels with Max gone, but the runtime just didn’t allow for the breathing room

About meeting Ben 10K - I think every Ben 10K they meet is that specific Ben's future version till they meet due to time travel, after which the Ben 10K version changes.

My first time was experiencing the 90s multiverse in Spider-Man show and he met a person with no powers and was just a actor playing Spider-Man and he was actually pretty chill finding out his a fictional character and met stan Lee and had a conversation with him and the hilarious comment from stan on the rooftop saying maybe the fantastic four might come and give him a ride and the comment to Madame webb complimenting her which a lot of people don't know the woman who voices her was his wife

The way ben 10K works is that each time prime ben meets his future self that is who he will become if he doesnt change his current path in life, but by meeting and learning from these older versions of himself he alters his own future, like the original Ben 10K did not remember or know that his past self would show up because HE didnt do it. Prime ben didn't like that the first ben 10K was kind of an asshole who didnt have time for his family. The ben 10K in UAF kept the ulitmatrix so when Prime ben got the Perfect Omnitrix from azmuith that created the final Ben 10K in Omniverse who eventually modifies and upgrades the perfect Omnitrix into the biotrix which has fusions.

Really?, X-men 1992 and 1994 TAS Spiderman are the first ones, X-men took the string theory, while spiderman is the true multiverse before even multiversal spiderman was introduced in the comic (even before clone saga & 2099).
Now I think that when Gwen travelled through time did not create an alternative universe but just changed the main one. The 2 What If of classic tecnically are not canon even in the multiverse but you can normally use them. Ben 10K is a whole topic and I think that also The Forge Of Creation episode talks about the multiverse, not how you think but it does.
Those are the real futures of Ben, but every time he meets his future self, his future changes.
