Makes sense when you really think about it tbh….the ability was only really there to not make Ben feel like he was taking a step back after having unlocked Way Big already (you’ll notice the Alien Force debut lineup has the same abilities as Ben’s OG aliens) So once they bring Way Big back (along with master control), there’s rarely any reason to grow as humongousaur…..just swap aliens

imagine upgrade as a duelist, it has mid range attacks, can upgrade random things around the map as weapons and becomes a vehicle to run around faster. And he can use his upgrade thing to enhance his allies to do more dmg, faster or tankier.

I remember watching a video on humongousaur and big chills home planets and they made me appreciate the ultimate forms more. Humongoussaur's planet has his species, the pterodactyl aliens, the t-rex predator and the alien that makes its hands bigger. In my opinion the worst case scenario for them is every species targets humongousaurs species specifically. This explains the changes: spikes for getting out the trex web things, spike tails for the ones who can enlarge their hands (to have a weapon when they grab humongousaur), and missle launchers to deal with the pterodactyl alien and the trex since the threads are highly flamable. Big chills planet is a giant ice ball. I forgot most of the details, but ultimate big chills changes made sense to me at the time. I haven't seen the series with the predatrix so i can't comment much on that, but i love the idea of each ultimate being linked to what each species worst case scenario is related to their homeworlds

Honestly I think it would be way better if these 4 shows were all in the same universe. Cartoon network did really throw away some awsome ideas over toys and reality shows which didn't even profit them that much. Not to mention that sym-bionic titan; an amazing series which had a potential of being a big series was cancelled due to the toys stuff

What I'd do is have Verdona take Gwen as a child which makes the summer vacation never happen, Max never retires from being a plumber and is KIA when Ben is around 18 which causes them to recruit Ben to hopefully inspire Azmuth to continue project X (a gene splicing program) but after losing Max he hangs it up before ever making the official omnitrix. Ben gets paired up with Kevin (and sure maybe there'd be nods to other characters like Rook and stuff but I'd make him a forever knight) who'd lowkey be given fake memories of a childhood and a story that he's the last of his kind but is really a byproduct from project X and ultimately an abomination made by the plumbers. The Forever Knights would either remain completely earth based or be an elite section of the plumbers but they'd be handling time travel and interdimensional threats. Gwen would return at some point having become full anodite maybe being turned into an anti hero, Kevin eventually finds out about the truth of what he is and struggles with self worth and rage at the plumbers, and Ben would eventually find the prototype omnitrix that azmuth never finished for Max but it burns through DNA samples over a certain period of time meaning he'd have to directly manage his inventory of them

I’m not shocked that he stopped doing this especially since this man has way too much free time in UA and OV and isn’t placed in situations where he needs to multitask 5:25 It isn’t obvious because the Bens think they’re all the same person so Ben 1 or Ben 2 switching wouldn’t be something important to them because they weren’t aware of the split divided personalities
