Making a Comeback: Salford HALO HSD Tool

This tool is nothing new, in fact it was released before the VRT. Once the VRT came out, I was convinced there was no longer a need for the HSD, but I was wrong. The HSD is unbelievable in corn stalks and in any “bury” type scenario. I believe it can also be shallowed up to be ran in the spring. Also unlike other high speed disks, this tool leaves a flat bottom as the blades are perfectly spaced to have a complete rip out of the bottom side of the track.

Between a VRT and a 4200i, for spring tillage, what the main difference ? 4200i is it more agressif with shank for fall tillage?

@@terrydrouin6672 yes 4200 can have shanks, 4200 is more aggressive but VRT has a bit more flexibility
