Stumbled across this channel like a week ago through the communopoly 2 vide, been binging you guys ever since, the production quality is great, the humor matches me perfectly and i just love the chaos that always lurks around the corner
Really enjoyable episode- production, cast, the jokes- everything was just right. I'm loving Laurie as the host more and more with each video. Feels very organic. And Dom! Oh Dom! I recently discovered NRB (not from Communopoly incidentally), and have binge watched 2-3 games daily since (see you later daily responsibilities and sleep). This video has pushed me over the edge for subbing to your patreon. Cant wait to see more there! 😃
@NoRollsBarred: One mistake I caught that didn't change this game, but could've, is that you move the counters up and down in the order that they are listed on the card. So if money goes down first, and then something else goes up, you need to move the money down first. This can matter since, if it causes the overall scales to hit an extreme, the game will come to an end. Others have pointed out that the extra secret agenda is removed randomly rather than by choice, and that you can only pass for power or moderator, but not both. Also, did everyone mark their secret agendas on their score sheet at the end? And, as a strategy tip, I wouldn't announce your house agendas because it gives others a chance to thwart them.
@@TheSuddenJoker considering how the haunts are chosen you shouldn't be getting the same haunts that easily. Unless I'm missing something about the legacy version... because Ik now people that have played very different games from it.
The cringey facepalms that were shared around the table as Sully named his house "House Ruuuullles!!" were extremely meta and hilarious. It really makes one want to read everyones mind while he said it. 😂

30:39 Ken doesn't get the Power in the middle for the same reason. Unfortunately the way you're playing it makes passing for moderator incredibly overpowered - almost gamebreaking. Will skip to next episode when it comes out and see if you guys realised this!
I think passing for moderator doesn't give you political power. On the first dilemma holly shouldn't have gotten political power, and the full 3 would have to be given to Sully

My gods... you have no idea how utterly thrilled I am to see this game which (should) cause all players to desperately need a shower after each session being played by the NRB crew! I still own a copy of this in its cellophane wrapper for pete sake, I've never found a crew to play with! All the best to you NRB!

I didn't know how much i wanted this till i saw the episode title. also didn't see sully and dom teaming up. also ken under counted his final score by 1.
We finished this game about year ago. This game is much better with proper roleplay. My party plays mostly euros, so we didn't got the full experience. I REALLY wanted this playtrought! :D

The way the table was laid out, with Dom and Sully on one side, Holly and Ken on the other, and Laurie in between them, was borderline prophetic.

Yeah, later on Dom also get's power for passing, even though he took the moderators gavel. They get that wrong a lot.
Also I think you can only be the leader if you're on the winning side of the vote at the end. So Ego shouldn't have signed for the Red Iron

When some friends and I tried to play this we kinda bounced off of it but I can see this cast being a perfect fit
Same with my mates... did about 4 sessions but the guy who brought it started losing in points and favour so he sold the game
