@@kurejiakuma I wouldn't even try the bucket quest until all sinner bosses are defeated. Just too much of a head ach to worry about doing that quest in parts as I'm trying to progress through the game

I can't bring myself to go any further than that for some reason. But the reaper isn't that bad as long as you can heal. From stones or those elixirs. That's the only thing that makes it so much trouble is not being able to heal. But hulk Smash is another good strategy lol that pared with the eye that let's you do a charge attack without dieing or being interrupted makes you almost unstoppable lol
Any chance there is a vid explaining what event triggers the conditions and stigma which unlocks the final battle with the light reaper? I am still able to use the upper Calrath vestige, some forums mention being forced to go through skyrest bridge..
Yeah you have to go through skyrest to Trigger the fight. I did the iron wayfarers quest without lighting the beacons so I was able to do it after the Huntress. But if you are doing the radiance ending you have to light all the beacons before the light reaper will show up. Some people have to wait until judge cleric is defeated but you always have to go through skyrest to Trigger the light reaper in upper calrath

I guess since I did the iron wayfarers quest the light reaper showed up before I fought judge cleric. Idk its weird spawn conditions.
Love the content, but a very important question. The reaper does not show after the crow boss. I have fought and died twice now but no reaper 3rd fight. Does this mean no special attack? Or if I still get the scourings and then defeat him in upper Calrath, will i get the special. This soecial is my ENTIRE reason for this playthrough.
That is weird that he is not showing up in the snow place? Just continue on and backtrack if needed. As long as you fight him in upper calrath and summon issac for that fight it should unlock the special if both weapons are at plus 10
Oh by the way depending on your playthrough and what ending you are going for you may have to defeat Judge Cleric before the light reaper shows up in the upper calrath arena. Make sure to die the first match so Issac's summon will pop up. And if you have done all that and he still isn't there try backtracking to the snow area again to see if he shows up this time. The game is full of bugs so hopefully everything works out for you. But when you do unlock the special for the swords. After upgrading the daggers and spear to plus 10 you are also able to do their special attack.
It worked out! Thx. Love the new move. Him not showing up for 3rd fight did not matter. And I know why now. I beat boss at Abbey before I beat crow, so reaper moved to final local.
He kinda looks like batman lol it's really an unlock able starting class I believe but if you bought the deluxe edition you can choose that class from the start. But I think he does talk a little trash if he murders you when you fight him

Don't worry about those that's if you talked to the iron wayfarer at all of his locations. You should still be able to go the back way in and the light reaper should be at the arena
@@josephclearyjr498 not quite sure if you went down that route. Make sure all major bosses up to the castle are defeated. And if he doesn't spawn in when you go in the back way to upper calrath then there is a step you missed. A beacon not cleansed or a boss not beat. So you defeated judge cleric? You cleansed the beacon after the Hallowed Crow? Can you think of any bosses you haven't defeated besides the last boss of the game?
@mr.nobodyeldensouls not any besides him next, there's only one beacon left, which is the center beacon, but I was told to get that one I need to defeat the reaper

ok so i was watching youre pvp at the end of the video and im starting to suspect they may have changed the Severing Blades spell to the lightreaper slash ability becasue i remember trying that spell out when i first got it and it did not do what its doing now . before it would send a a pair of swirling flame blades and was trash.
@@marcusspade8223 yeah until they fix it again it will not work. But even when it was working it still would not work in Invasions for some reason. But yeah the spell is super spammable and deals about 300 damage per hit with 50 inferno. I'm level 130.
So what if I killed the bosses before the quest line and then did the quest line for the paladin burden boss because idk if that does not allow me to use the skill or not
Nope you have to summon Issac at the light reapers final battle in upper calrath to get the achievement and get the special attack to work. Killing the light reaper early just gets you the weapons and also locks you out of both Issacs quest and Kukajins quest

But after starting a totality new character I'm not about to farm away for things that are already hard to come by. So hate it or love it I would rather be dropped the things I need in a playthrough where I'm just trying to get through it as fast as possible
So once you beat the game can you go right into a continued "New Game" but still keep all your stuff to catch missed achievements? I read that devs give you this option outside of starting NG+. Is this correct?
When you beat the game select continue on current playthrough. Then go to any vestige and select new game + 0 you will keep everything except for key items
Do you know if starting a new game plus or new game 0 breaks thr weapon Art? bc it resets all quests and key items… (besides that it isnt working atm bc paaatches)
Yeah at the end of the video I explained how the MANY patches keep breaking it. But if it does reset the weapon art I swear it would be a load of shite. I would assume not but I have not tested it myself yet. But it would be kinda pointless to even do that quest if you lose the reward a little bit after you get it. nope both engstrom n Heralds quest have only been tried sofar on main but he got the White set the the Flail story one but herald one wouldnt lit up torches and engstoms simply didnt drop any armor for main , none of my 3 have been able to get boss weapons to show animations despite following isacs quest etc @@mr.nobodyeldensouls for lets say lightreapers swords daggers etc

Your good you have to talk to the iron wayfarer at all of his locations and finish his dialog to get that to show up. It's not part of the actual quest. But if you go through upper calrath and the light reaper doesn't show up. Then you may have to fight judge cleric first
Yes you have to choose between her or the special attack. Also the new patch broke the swords and daggers by the way. So even if you do get it you will not be able to use it at the moment. But the spear special still works
Yeah unfortunately the last patch broke it lol I think it worked for about a week as I was working on this video it broke AGAIN 🤣 idk maybe it will get fixed when they patch another red reaper farm because they only seem to put out patches to give it a new buff so it can't be cheesed. A hot fix would be too much trouble they need us to know what it feels like to do a whole quest line and not receive the reward smh 🤦♂️
Yeah it does about 3x the damage of the spell but every patch it gets broken just after it's been fixed. I made this video just to have it out here because it won't matter soon because people are leaving left and right

Correcto. This game actually punishes you for defeating him early. No special attack. Locks you out of quest lines and achievements. There's no reason to try to beat him early besides early access to his weapons and spells. But day goodbye to kukajins quest
Did you take the back way in from skyrest and soulflay that stigma? Right after you go through Pietas boss arena? If it's not spawning in and you killed the Huntress then something is off. I just couldn't tell you because I don't know what all you have done in the game. But if you followed the steps through the whole video he should be there. Did you let him kill you 3 times and all that before you reached upper calrath? You can also try resetting your game. If you did all of that try killing judge Claric and see if he will spawn in then. I didn't have to do it on my playthrough but you may have done other quests differently than I did
@@gr33nyplayz60 did you go through upper calrath? If you went all the way through that door should already be open. You get to upper calrath by going up the elevator in sunless Skein. If you watch my winterberry walkthrough the elevator I tell you not to take up or you will fail her quest is the elevator to get up there

Eye of Marco the axe socket into the first lamp slot. It makes smaller enemies in the umbral afraid of you. You get it from dealing the final blow to kill the red reaper.
Did you defeat judge cleric? Because if you didn't talk to the iron wayfarer in all of his locations for some reason he won't spawn in until she's defeated. After that make sure you go through the back way to the arena from skyrest. You did lose to him at the beginning of the game, another loss at fitzroys gorge and the final loss at fref? If so he should be spawning In before you go to Bramis castle
After a certain point in the game even without doing Issac's Quest, if you haven't defeated the light reaper he will always spawn in the final location in upper calrath. For me he spawned in after the Huntress fight but I talked to the iron wayfarer in all the locations and he helped me beat her. But others have said that didn't do his quest so the light reaper wouldn't show up until Judge Cleric's defeat

Google why the light reaper isn't showing up there's a lot of stuff depending on your playthrough. Some only needed to trigger his 3 encounters. Some who were doing the radiance ending needed to cleans all 5 beacons. And others it was just bugged. Was the elevator blocked off? By a umbral tumor? If not there may be a boss you are missing
If you murdered the Light reaper before fighting him in upper calrath and summoning Issac, then yeah if you are wanting the special attacks. Summoning Issac for that fight and beating him there is what unlocks it
Yes sir everything starts over in new game +0. I wouldn't recommend going into new game +1 though. Less vestiges to back track with and no real reward except for the added headache and difficulty
@@DerMezeller yes sir always. If something guess wrong after you beat the game go into new game plus 0 and it resets all of the quest items and stuff but you keep weapons rings eyes extra. And all quests can be redone and no problem buddy here to help when I can
Did you talk to him in every location? If not it's no big deal but you will probably have to beat judge cleric to make the light reaper spawn in upper calrath. You can try to go there and see if he spawns in but if not you will have to beat judge clerics first . The iron wayfarer only shows up if you talk to him in all of his locations exhausting his dialog
Make sure you have the flayed skin in your inventory and soulflay all the stigmas and listen to them until you get your scuragings. And after you fight the dark crusader go back to the beginning and pick up the armor set. Then when you go fight the light reaper in upper calrath you have to let the light reaper murder you one time. After that Issac's summon will appear
That is correct from what I have heard. It a shame they made quests connected to boss fights and you have to choose which one to do. They should have made it were you could complete all quests in a single playthrough. But I guess this is their way to make people play it multiple times

Yeah with the right build you can get the damage up to 700 per sword at level 130 but I agree it needs the special attack. And yes they are still NOT working
What's bugged? Your light reaper swords? Last time I checked they were working. Both have to be plus 10 tho. But people have been complaining that after completing the quest it just doesn't allow them to do the special attack until they do the quest all over again. This whole game is really buggy. I feel for you my dude
I agree game has so much potential, but every time they make a patch they messed the game up more… for the week that the light reapers swords did their special attack. It still never worked in PVP or co-op it would only work as the host in your own game… fix that shit I’m a huge souls-like gamer and part of the longevity of those games is always the PVP and co-op,that in my opinion and the connectivity issues are what they should be worried about instead of us tryna farm vigor..also pvp and co-op pretty much dead since last patch can’t get a match at all fix this shit plz

So much potential and you basically just plucked my thoughts out of my brain and slapped it into a comment 🤣 I got that attack specifically for pvp and couldn't use it as you say at the end of the video. And most times when I'm Winning in pvp at level 130 something always happens where I get vacuumed into the hosts attacks and they give me the R1 special
The coop in this game is miles above any other game in its space. i really wish they would focus on making it as perfect as possible. i love DS3 but playing it with my friends is a chore.... ive had no complaints until this recent patch. cant even beckon lamp bearer without having to wait up to an hour now

The swords WORK you just have to push left bumper and right trigger at the same time for it to work and you need soul flays

nope both engstrom n Heralds quest have only been tried sofar on main but he got the White set the the Flail story one but herald one wouldnt lit up torches and engstoms simply didnt drop any armor for main , none of my 3 have been able to get boss weapons to show animations despite following isacs quest etc @@mr.nobodyeldensouls for lets say lightreapers swords daggers etc

Your good you have to talk to the iron wayfarer at all of his locations and finish his dialog to get that to show up. It's not part of the actual quest. But if you go through upper calrath and the light reaper doesn't show up. Then you may have to fight judge cleric first

Yes you have to choose between her or the special attack. Also the new patch broke the swords and daggers by the way. So even if you do get it you will not be able to use it at the moment. But the spear special still works

Yeah unfortunately the last patch broke it lol I think it worked for about a week as I was working on this video it broke AGAIN 🤣 idk maybe it will get fixed when they patch another red reaper farm because they only seem to put out patches to give it a new buff so it can't be cheesed. A hot fix would be too much trouble they need us to know what it feels like to do a whole quest line and not receive the reward smh 🤦♂️
Did quest didnt know it did this..but guess it was good since it always bugs out every patch.
Yeah it does about 3x the damage of the spell but every patch it gets broken just after it's been fixed. I made this video just to have it out here because it won't matter soon because people are leaving left and right

Correcto. This game actually punishes you for defeating him early. No special attack. Locks you out of quest lines and achievements. There's no reason to try to beat him early besides early access to his weapons and spells. But day goodbye to kukajins quest

No sadly not. At the end of the video it explains how it's sadly not working at the moment with the constant patches that keep breaking it

Did you take the back way in from skyrest and soulflay that stigma? Right after you go through Pietas boss arena? If it's not spawning in and you killed the Huntress then something is off. I just couldn't tell you because I don't know what all you have done in the game. But if you followed the steps through the whole video he should be there. Did you let him kill you 3 times and all that before you reached upper calrath? You can also try resetting your game. If you did all of that try killing judge Claric and see if he will spawn in then. I didn't have to do it on my playthrough but you may have done other quests differently than I did

You should be good bro the final stigma up there is for Byron's quest I believe. It only shows up if you talk to him in every location

@@gr33nyplayz60 did you go through upper calrath? If you went all the way through that door should already be open. You get to upper calrath by going up the elevator in sunless Skein. If you watch my winterberry walkthrough the elevator I tell you not to take up or you will fail her quest is the elevator to get up there

its an umbral eye you get from the first red reaper kill during a playthrough
Eye of Marco the axe socket into the first lamp slot. It makes smaller enemies in the umbral afraid of you. You get it from dealing the final blow to kill the red reaper.

Did you defeat judge cleric? Because if you didn't talk to the iron wayfarer in all of his locations for some reason he won't spawn in until she's defeated. After that make sure you go through the back way to the arena from skyrest. You did lose to him at the beginning of the game, another loss at fitzroys gorge and the final loss at fref? If so he should be spawning In before you go to Bramis castle
After a certain point in the game even without doing Issac's Quest, if you haven't defeated the light reaper he will always spawn in the final location in upper calrath. For me he spawned in after the Huntress fight but I talked to the iron wayfarer in all the locations and he helped me beat her. But others have said that didn't do his quest so the light reaper wouldn't show up until Judge Cleric's defeat

Google why the light reaper isn't showing up there's a lot of stuff depending on your playthrough. Some only needed to trigger his 3 encounters. Some who were doing the radiance ending needed to cleans all 5 beacons. And others it was just bugged. Was the elevator blocked off? By a umbral tumor? If not there may be a boss you are missing
What happen If I killed the Reaper with a crossbow? Do I have to make the quest again?
If you murdered the Light reaper before fighting him in upper calrath and summoning Issac, then yeah if you are wanting the special attacks. Summoning Issac for that fight and beating him there is what unlocks it

Yes sir everything starts over in new game +0. I wouldn't recommend going into new game +1 though. Less vestiges to back track with and no real reward except for the added headache and difficulty

@@DerMezeller yes sir always. If something guess wrong after you beat the game go into new game plus 0 and it resets all of the quest items and stuff but you keep weapons rings eyes extra. And all quests can be redone and no problem buddy here to help when I can

Did you talk to him in every location? If not it's no big deal but you will probably have to beat judge cleric to make the light reaper spawn in upper calrath. You can try to go there and see if he spawns in but if not you will have to beat judge clerics first . The iron wayfarer only shows up if you talk to him in all of his locations exhausting his dialog

What ghost? Did you soulflay all the stigmas?
Make sure you have the flayed skin in your inventory and soulflay all the stigmas and listen to them until you get your scuragings. And after you fight the dark crusader go back to the beginning and pick up the armor set. Then when you go fight the light reaper in upper calrath you have to let the light reaper murder you one time. After that Issac's summon will appear

That is correct from what I have heard. It a shame they made quests connected to boss fights and you have to choose which one to do. They should have made it were you could complete all quests in a single playthrough. But I guess this is their way to make people play it multiple times

Yeah with the right build you can get the damage up to 700 per sword at level 130 but I agree it needs the special attack. And yes they are still NOT working

What's bugged? Your light reaper swords? Last time I checked they were working. Both have to be plus 10 tho. But people have been complaining that after completing the quest it just doesn't allow them to do the special attack until they do the quest all over again. This whole game is really buggy. I feel for you my dude
I agree game has so much potential, but every time they make a patch they messed the game up more… for the week that the light reapers swords did their special attack. It still never worked in PVP or co-op it would only work as the host in your own game… fix that shit I’m a huge souls-like gamer and part of the longevity of those games is always the PVP and co-op,that in my opinion and the connectivity issues are what they should be worried about instead of us tryna farm vigor..also pvp and co-op pretty much dead since last patch can’t get a match at all fix this shit plz

So much potential and you basically just plucked my thoughts out of my brain and slapped it into a comment 🤣 I got that attack specifically for pvp and couldn't use it as you say at the end of the video. And most times when I'm Winning in pvp at level 130 something always happens where I get vacuumed into the hosts attacks and they give me the R1 special
The coop in this game is miles above any other game in its space. i really wish they would focus on making it as perfect as possible. i love DS3 but playing it with my friends is a chore.... ive had no complaints until this recent patch. cant even beckon lamp bearer without having to wait up to an hour now

@@pardonme5660 if you did the complete quest nothing is wrong except that the latest patch broke it. AGAIN 🤣 when I first did the quest I was confused why it didn't work. Then I found out that it was the developers fault. But then they got it working until this latest patch and it's broken again
