Yeah it's very unique, they mastered the assassin's creed style formula mixed with the LOTR IP. Superb :)
Just nothing else like it. It still gets like 2k players on the weekends on steam, kinda nuts for a 6 year old mostly single player game.

Honestly I'd hack for one reason only, to get cool looking orcs. not some broken op crap like what we see here. just some cool looking orcs who would stay offline so I don't ruin the fun for others playing.

Yeah every Forthog you meet has been hacked yeah, but most that you find have been hacked by someone else and then just captured by others in online conquest

Ngl, the usage of hacked orcs against hackers themselves kinda fits the theme of the game, how you use the enemy to defeat the enemy
One thing that i love about modded fortress are the ones that gives ya those powerfull/unique orcs to recruit for yourself. Thx to those fun modders.

@@alfienorris188adapting all the nemesis system for other games might be tricky since you'd have to explain how the playable character's deaths are part of the story. But even just the hierarchy and cheating death aspects would still be fire

May be on PC but I'm pretty sure there's equivalents for other consoles. Just ran into a 7777 olog overlord not too long ago, looked decent with no chance and one weakness and 3 epic traits, he's a powerhouse with the right bodyguards but every strategy has some sort of weakness or drawback, even hackers' strategies, the decision to leave hacked orcs in the game has impacted the online community like an infection, as soon as you hit rank 950 assault or higher you will see 7 immunity orcs guaranteed. This is a tragedy honestly, the situation has spun well out of control and that's not even the worst thing going on with the game. Anyone done Online Conquests in Lithiad Recently? Ever notice how your captains will stay banging on one wall like a bunch of zombies while you blow a hole in the wall not 30 feet away from them? It's been like that for a long time and something should get done because it's not the players fault how the captains are designed to navigate the fortress, this does nothing but negatively impact the timer as your orc forces split up and some may start bleeding out at the inner gatehouse by the time you've gotten the wall busted for the idiots. This is a big Gold Rank killer glitch and it makes Lithiad Conquests so much less lucrative and accurate to the player's actual skill and also therefor makes any Lithiad Conquest a rigged game for you to lose Rank and keep trying at a pointless battle due to a glitch that could've been patched over a year ago like the 3 epic traits glitch 🤷 I said what I said and I said it for a reason, cuz it's true and nobody talks about it 🤦 tired of our games being broken and rigged 🥱 also your game will randomly decide to not register the button press on a last chance and it will continue to do it until you close the app and possibly restart system, don't know what's up with that one but I lost some conquests a while ago cuz it was stuck like that 😡 figures, how convenient. If you think this is a comment hating the game you need to read again, I'm a huge fan of the game and promote it, therefor I hold myself to honesty when it comes to issues in a game that needs to be fixed or at least addressed. Everyone loves talking about 7777 orcs but no one really talks about what it's like getting introduced to them before hearing about them when you're doing a casual playthrough. Figured there'd be a warning page before you do online conquests 😂😂 had to crack a joke somewhere or everyone will think I'm a hater
It amazes me when I see players that have almost all of their stats maxed out completely. I play the game a lot, but I still haven't maxed out the first one.
I think I only have about 250 hours on the game, once you start spamming conquests you level up very quickly
Those were some scary chief to deal with. I have never seen those epic traits before.
Yeah they are all hacked, they are meant to be from the desert dlc
i hunt these hacked fortresses like prey. every day i log on, search for them and bring them down, and i make sure that the hacked fucks don't return, even if i have to use a bit of Hack Magic myself to fuck them over. you doing it as is with only skill and whatnot, it makes me smile from ear to ear, and seeing that fortress fall by your skill alone made me incredibly giddy!
Edit: i have to admit, there is something profoundly more badass about you collecting hacked orcs to hunt other hacked fortresses and not just killing them.
Use the hacked orcs to destroy the hacked orcs 😉

hacking aside...that Ockburk the brown combination is SICK. that's the Maku the Fixer helm INSIDE the curling spikes helm, and that makes the most amazing helmet I've ever seen

Maybe a little guide to improve ur wrathgiver build a bit against the hacked Orks
Here quick guide
Every set piece with 1 red perfect gem
Wrath giver lv 90
96 damage
15% damage boost when your health is full
Upgrade wrath giver to lv 90
U need to get it broken 2 times from an Olog chief lv 80+
But there is a 16h in game time cooldown for sword breaks
So if ur going to sleep just let the game run and the next day u can get it broken again
Re roll the 2nd stat with one perfect red gem
Save Ur Game to usb
Re roll
If it’s not +15% damage at max heath
Load usb safe game to ur console and re roll again repeat till u got this
This safes u so much time
Dagger of vegance
Just use stealth attack in a online vendetta mission target
Bow of vegance
Land a headshot on a online vendetta mission target
If u have 2 vendetta pieces equipped u can use elven light without any might and use 40% of ur health
Very important for this build
Quick tip if u shoot with the bow swap it to the might mender
It gives u 7 might per Hit
And if ur finished shooting swap back to the bow of vegance
(U can get the night mender by killing death threat target while ur might is full with the bow and the glaive
But ur target has to be immune against execution very important)
Raiders armor
Search for an mauderer destroyer
Prompte him with legendary Training to legendary orc make him ur bodyguard summon him and kill him with the skill that kill ur own captain
Mask of undying
For unlimited spectral dash
reward during shadow wars
Raiders rune
Elven rage lasts 33% longer
promote a marauder commander to legandary make him ur bodyguard summon him and kill him with the skill
And he will drop raiders rune
Then uploaded ur safegame to an usb device re roll with 1 perfect gem and load ur safegame from the usb back to the consol if u didn’t get 33% longer elven rage
Repeat till u get it
The other reason I need the raider armor is the 2/2 set bonus
With increases ur damage if u pick up Miriam
So
use elven light
Use elven rage
Pick up the Miriam from the normal death orcs use the glaive attack
This will 1-2 shot every orc boss
Repeat
And if u run out of might to charge up ur wrath u can use elven light 2 times without any might by sacrificing 40% of ur health per Leben light
And u can swap to the mightvmender to gain 7 might per hit swap back
And activate elven rage
With this build u can always use elven light to charge up ur wrath
To make this build even mir efficient max out the legacy skills

So I’m kinda new, I just completed the boss fight and moved into shadow wars, what is wrath giver and how do I get the Nazgûl masks
Wrathgiver is an epic sword that you can get with a specific farming method that allows you to maintain wrath mode infinitely if used correctly. The Nazgûl masks come from completing the main story and epilogue :)

This is pretty impressive. Ive only played through the game and played around with the nemesis system a bit and those orcs gave me trouble every now and then.
Yeah it can get rough, I’ve been playing since the game released but would restart when I hit the end game and do it all over, so I’m used to the lower level ((pre-50)) captains, which are pretty easy to kill with basic combat exploits and spamming certain moves.
But now that I’m finally getting into the end game, I’m realizing just how crazy these captains can get if you don’t pay attention to armor and abilities 😂 Just learned that the Mask of Undying lets you spam Waters of Lorien with no focus drain at all.
Now I’m learning from this video about the Wrathgiver sword and being able to spam regenerate your Wrath while using the Wrath ability 😂
This was the first game I ever pre ordered, I was so excited for the nemesis forge and I think I clocked like 1000 hours on this game alone. Got if for the Xbox now but after seeing this a part of me wants to get it on pc so I can remake my old orcs from my first play through on shadow of morodo since they shut down nemesis forge.

I've tried a few things vs hacked orcs, and the fastest way for me is Wrath giver, and Marauder armor and dagger that gives the damage based on money you grab from dead ennemies, I also use the legendary cloak that heals you when you're being hit by curse and reduce curse. The ring I have is an epic one that heals when using wrath, that way I can put damage on the sword instead of lifesteal. Always under 10 min.
I think reviving too many orcs is bad, bacause those captain often have the kill healing trait and one shot those
2:44 That's my biggest fear with in online conquest. I won't even risk taking on a hacked olog for that reason.
Honestly, most Uruk are only as difficult as you let them, eve these hacked ones, its simply a matter on knowing how to counter them, often you can simply overwhelm them
They special only in arena. Another's is garbage against player

I suggest you to equip a ring that increase Ringwrath time by 33%. It's the best combo with wrathgiver

@@ed752 You need a very specific method. Death threat a non-elemental captain in Nurnen, kill him via the punching ground execution. Eventually it will drop, but it won't be called wrathgiver, you need to upgrade the sword to get the actual title :)

Hackers are why I rarely engage in the online portion of singleplayer games. There's no point trying to compete when all the top players are hackers with incredible orcs or 0.01 seconds on some leaderboard
Honestly I think it's quite fun to fight hacked orcs, they are much more dangerous than a normal high level orc when using the wrathgiver build, as it's just broken

the only reason id use a hacked client is to make cool looking orcs

I don’t get why people do this. At least to me, online conquests are fun way to test both your fortress defenses against other players and a test of your army’s abilities against other players. Along with that, online conquests, at least to me, are like an orc exchange. Have an orc you like? Make it an overlord or warchief so that other players can obtain that orc as well. Want a specific orc? Grind out conquests till you find the orc you want. That’s how I got my stitch, and I’m hoping to find an orc with a legendary poison scar that way as well.
You can still do all of those things with hacked orcs tbf, they are just a bit more challenging for endgame builds
this game is still really good even today, may play it again soon
for these forts i always go solo with no uruks to help me so i can recruit all the modded orcs

You need a sword called the wrathgiver (10 wrath on an execution), then use the non-elemental elven light attack and it will replenish your wrath whilst in wraithform :) I can do a video explaining my build in more detail

Always wanted to get into this game, its super fun but sometimes it stresses me out too much. Especially if too many orcs ambush etc and i have to deal with too many immunities. Im not the best player.
Like anything, it just takes a bit of practice and some grinding to get the best gear
the best thing to do imo is play simply until you unlock more abilities so you dont use one as a crutch for a long a time and get used to a more freeflow combat style

Bit late to the party, but I learned something interesting recently. I was investigating how these damn Orcs are made, and came across the forum where the cheat table was located, and interestingly the last patch that came out for the game broke the table.
So none of these hacked Orcs are fresh anymore. They're a legacy of a hack that no longer works.
Wow, didn’t know that! These orcs will just continue to get duplicated through online conquests though, so don’t expect any of them to disappear 🤣

It would be way way harder if
1. Make every warchief berserker with shield and cursed weapon
2. his two bodyguards tanks with cursed weapon and shield
3. sacrifice 1 of the 7 epic traits give every warchief and bodyguards the trait unbreakable
4. give every warchief and bodyguard the trait no Chance
5. give every warchief and bodyguard 7 enrages
If u get hit 1 time u can’t refill the wrath so u can’t use elven rage till the effect is gone
If u get hit 2 times u die instantly because of the trait no chance
U can’t recruit any Orks and u have to stick with ur original 6 so u can’t outnumber the enemy orcs
I think this is the hardest possible defense to break
I mean it’s still possible but the Chance to fail is way higher
Honestly it would be a fun to try such a fort in a friendly conquest
But I’m so glad that I don’t play on PC
it would be so annoying if everyone would have such a fort
I mean u also encounter 7777 Orks on ps5 with 3 epic traits or forts full of duplicated Orks
But at least they are just glitched and not hacked
And the person who originally created them actually spend a huge amount of time to create them because it take some serious dedication to create such orks without cheat engine

The guy using the hacked orcs didn’t make them, he’s just deploying them in his fort as most of them do with little care as to strategy.
As to your points:
1. Most hacked orcs are curse with shields (undaunted and tyrant), dude is probably just giving. A bit of variety for fun
2. They don’t need to actually be tanks. All these hacked orcs have the Tank traits Bonus Health and Second Wind, even if they are berserkers or commanders or whatever
3. Unbreakable doesn’t matter. Anyone using Cheat Engine can dominate the enemy orcs with 2 clicks. Or even simply remove Unbreakable from the orc and dominate later.
4. They do have it. They also have Commander and Destroyer traits. Some even have decoys that can be summoned online by combining it with the Call Reinforcements commander trait.
5. Enrages make them attack each other. Also some red box traits buff out enraged attacks which would leave the hacked orc literally hitting a wall for no damage. I would argue in favor of Enraged by Mortal wounds at least, so that the player HAS to finish the orc off in a rush, which might accidentally trigger Second win and start over again.
You have the right idea overall, but the console guys don’t understand just how OP the PC hacked orcs are. There isn’t a comparison to our ps4/ps5 best orcs so we can’t apply the same strategies

Worth noting that this player probably isn't a hacker, but the same hacked orcs are passed around as people catch them and use them in their forts. I do believe that hacked orcs are actually good as they extend the endgame a little for players with very strong builds
I jus started about 2 weeks ago and got to lvl 76, havn't done a single online quest yet, you posted this after I started so im worried about the hacked orcs but im on xbox so maybe its different?
I play on PC, so from what I understand it's harder to find hacked orcs on consoles. Don't worry though as your rank starts from the bottom, so it will be a while before you fight hacked orcs. They can be annoying but I like to think of them extending the end game a bit by making high level fortresses harder for you. You will get to 1200 attack on all 4 areas in no time!
Is there a way to hack orcs but not have them show up online? I've always wanted to customize them but the game doesn't allow that.

When I get in higher ranks is it more likely to get attacked? bc I like the system of losing the fort and trying to get it again.
In online conquests you can't lose your fort, you just lose rank points if other players beat it. If you want to lose your fort, you can play defences until you get beaten or just intentionally lose. However, you may lose some good uruks if you aren't careful...

This system could've been better should've been a way to get rid of weaknesses in orcs because if they have one they're useless
resepct of you attacking a hacked fortress like damn i would prob just say nah im good and go on. Havent touched the game in a few years though.
(P.S. is there a way to get like these executions scenes? Like i know they trigger when you have a nemesis or when they are a tank so they have second chance but im asking if you can somehow trigger it when you just fight an orc captain you just met, and is not a Tank.)

Im realising that a have never done a player conquest i just forgot it existed but if you dom a orc does it take it from their fort?
No, you get to keep the orc but that player doesn't lose it. It's one of the reasons that you see so many hacked orcs, as everyone just has copies of the same ones!
I'd be more forgiving towards these hacked fortresses if they didn't take the utter piss and just put these forwards as a challenge to other players for the heck of it. Something for fun, rather than slap literally everything onto an orc and call it a day. I'd be down for trying to tackle tougher uruks with specific gimmicks, like just a LOT of bombs, or hard specced into healing so that every mistake basically gives the boss full health again. A hard mode of sorts, which you know what? I'd try it. Would be interesting.
Instead of any of that though, they just put forwards shit like this. It's not fun.

I play on nemesis difficulty on PC, I got so tired of the hacked orcs I went all in one game. I fought for 52 minutes straight. The very first orc in the conquest was invincible. And I mean literally, I left my entire team to fight him for the entire time, and he didn't take a single hit of damage. IIRC the only thing I could do to hit him was the arrow ground attack thing, and explosive swords/thrown daggers to stun. And no matter how many times I hit him, it did nothing. So eventually I gave up on him. The rest of the orcs were hacked too, but with enough patience and caution I managed to conquer every checkpoint. Only to find out that you need to kill 6(?) warlords no matter what. I had captured a handful of his orcs, but the ones left were immortal. Within 4 minutes after capturing every single check point my entire army, including my new hacked orcs, were falling faster than I could heal them, or restore them. I lost every orc and died from a single attack into no chance. I still don't know what hit me, I was standing on a rooftop alone. I don't really regret trying, it was a great fight. But the disappointment I felt when I realized I literally couldn't win, because I could never kill those orcs, after all that, that really stung. I just quit now once I see invincible orcs. Which really sucks, I fought my heart out only for the cheater to take the ball and go home 52 minutes in.
They can be tough, but with the right build you can take them out without too much trouble. Do you have the wrathgiver?

Yeah quite possibly, although some hacked orcs will just 1 shot you, so it’s not a great skill to equip against them
try to make them fall on the ground and use celebrimbor spear on them it will do a massive damge to them

Good question! Basically any cheated orcs with iron will won't be captured by others and so you rarely see them. These orcs you see all the time as people capture them and then use them in their own forts. The person using these orcs most likely wasn't the person that cheated them in the first place!

@@thisismyname9510 It's a sword which provides wrath on an execution, but the non elemental elven light attack was bugged and classed as an execution also. So you basically build wrath, enter wrath form and then you practically have it for as long as you need it

Can anyone explain why during online fort attacks captured orcs are not appearing in my followers ranks?
Are you doing friendly conquests? If so, you don't keep those orcs, you only keep them from ranked conquests

How’d you prevent the orcs from doing their intros during elven rage or whatever it’s called. It doesn’t pause the effect so sometimes by the time they’re done talking my wrath will be empty and the ability gone
So long as you stun them with elven light (ground pound) and keep attacking them, they won't have time to do their intro :) but yeah this can be annoying! Try and get the "elven rage lasts 33% longer" perk on your ring

Taking control of orcs is just a base mechanic of the game, so complete the story mode first and you will get all the skills you need to have a build like mine

on the one hand it sucks people cheat like this
on the other. its kind of a cool thing to see the absolute crazy shit these combinations can create and the creativity to take them down. plus they tend to look pretty cool
