Loved seeing the TiR's spot. Completely agree on the part about how great the direction is. One of the best directed anime of 2010s. AoT, JJK, GoH we all know they are great visually, common sense. Haven't watched Rage of Bahamut yet, this might be the push to start it. Also was wondering why Kids on The Slope, Inuyashiki and Sarazanmai weren't on the list, maybe haven't watched yet. Definitely recommend all three of these.
Tir peak, also watch bahamut, the story ain't half bad either, since this vid is me ranking every mappa anime I've seen, anything not on here is something I haven't seen
@@ProbablyPretentious Inuyashiki gets carried by the amazing story and character acting. The story is simple but pure and does what it shows best. It's shortcomings would have to be CGI but even still it's ok atleast in my standards as I have seen many cgi that is bad over the years. I honestly recommend it and stay for its story. I can't blame Mappa for going CGI in some scenes as the manga is fucking amazingly drawn and detailed so goodluck transitioning some amazing panels into the anime. Overall an amazing show I enjoyed very much. Opening is a banger as well for me personally.
@@ProbablyPretentious Also excuse me if I'm pinging you too much but I can't stress enough. I also recommend Dororo from Mappa. It's pretty good. It's slow in the beginning but it gets better later down the line. The story is great and is the best re adaptation of an older anime I've seen yet so far. Old Dororo anime was around the 1970s so seeing it with a more modern look in 2019 is great. Too bad Dororo became a hidden gem since demon slayer took over the world in 2019. Give it a shot but if you don't want to it's fine. If it's not your cup of tea or you don't enjoy it then drop it it's alright it's not for everybody.
Now do a updated version of this video. Because after ended, csm is s1 is out, jjk s2 is out, bucchigiri and the new anime oblivion battery is out too. There are so many more shows you need to cover.❤
You should watch Dororo, it's really solid. Also Hell's Paradise is now out and the 1st episode is a banger, and I'm sure you'd agree that Chainsaw Man easily places at #1 after it's also aired.
I have my doubts, the staff leaving is not that big of a deal, it's the producers and directors leaving, masao maruyama one of the most influential people in the industry has left, along with quite a few name directors, so it will be difficult to get big animators on board for a project, at the same time it's possible, shingo Natsume is still madhouse affiliated, and under his direction they did produce one punch man season 1, which was made after most early madhouse staff left. So to answer your question it would be very difficult but possible
They did hayashi dirty by putting him in hellish aot schedule instead he should have been working on dorohedoro S2 What do think of CSM Adaptation if everything goes well???
Justice for hayashi mane, with the staff csm I doubt it is physically possible to be anything less than amazing, I talked about it in one of my vids too, but csm will be monumental
Oh shut up, the k project is one of the most stunning action shows I've seen and seitokai yakuindomo is a joy to watch, people watch that one show they did that looked weird and form opinions about all their works
@@ProbablyPretentious ok let me defend my point I have watched k project it's a visual spectical I do agree but after that the studio went through a ceo change after this they have plagiarized many Degin of characters and they also overwork the staff even more than mappa and they are also the masterminds behind handshakers
They have literally made like, 7 shows, 2 of which are really good looking I can personally vouch for them, overworking animators is about as common as bread in Japan
Really bro if said that AOT took the no1 spot oor terror in resonance took the 1st place then i wouldn’t be shocked a bit for a moment but Rage of bahamut really bro... Btw i found that anime eye pleasing but well animated it is making me to rewatch it. But story and action everything was good from bottom to top😊
That was a stylistic choice I think, I heard that somewhere, the characters with red noses are the important ones while the ones without them are background characters...or something like that
Bro can you make a video on early to mid studio Madhouse works? I don't know how I fully feel but I have a nostalgic feeling for them and to be honest I prefer the 90s anime asthetic over the modern plastic look. Moreover early Madhouse works in general and even in late 2000s were really different than most anime nowadays like for example Tatami galaxy and Redline - if you have not seen it you must watch it atleast once. I would really love your take on them.
I have seen some madhouse works around that time, I believe even death note fits that criteria, I've seen tatami galaxy and maybe a few more than I can't recall, and madhouse has a really interesting catalogue so I may make a vid like that
@@ProbablyPretentious Bro a sequel of Tatami galaxy will air this year on Disney+ and is animated by Science Saru (founded by ex- Madhouse employee). Also Shingo Natsume will direct it. I am excited for it. Tatami galaxy is underrated and one of most unique anime I have ever seen in terms of art-style at the very least.
@@ProbablyPretentious Try watching the first episode. Similar to aot it pretty much sets the tone from the very first ep if ud like it you can always drop it lol
@@A1000-b9s maybe but in terms of animation it's top. In my rating 1st is CSM, next SNB and GOH or YOI. At first I thought it was by Kyoto animation because the anime subject they deal with kinda similar to this.
Nope, comparing shows they've made A1 isn't even close, they've made way too many mediocre looking light novel adaptations to even be in the same conversation as mappa
Nah, have you seen the backgrounds on jjk fam, also I don't exactly remember having problems with blur when it comes to Goh, at least not particularly more than any other mappa work, stuff like garo vanishing line for example is EXCESSIVE blur, also when did they do the bloom overdo, isn't that hayashi's thing?
How the hell did AOT ranked ao high up? Lets be real, the show looks bland, characters are often off model most notably Levi and stiff overall animation
@@ProbablyPretentious what?! I get the Animation part, but dorohedoro strongest point its background art and the vibe. Because you put final season 1 and 2 i think it should have it dragged down Behind dorohedoro(but takt always Behind both)
Nope, the cinematic approach and aesthetic of aot absolutely washes dorohedoro, of course so it does in terms of actual animation, which scene in dorohedoro is anywhere near as well animated as floch's 3d gear scene. As for takt, I don't think people understand, the first and third episode especially are two of the best animated episodes in modern anime....period
Once CSM is done, I will ask your opinion regarding the rank of this anime compared to MAPPA animes
thank you about another MAPPA related video! like this studio. video ws pretty interesting
Glad ya liked it🙌🙏
God of highschool looked so fucking good and the soundtrack was amazing too wish the story was adapted a bit better but still liked it

Finally Someone talking about Rage Of Bahamut..
can you please make one of these videos again with some another studios like madhouse or ufotable may be
Believe it or not that's exactly what the next video will be, won't spoil the studio
yea csm is gonna blow all those away ngl
Sure has the potential to, although shingeki no bahamut does look very good

Just the monogatari installments? Hmm I don't know....maybe?
