Sweet! Maybe a stupid question but isn't the unsprung weight more of a penalty than the benefits for a trophy truck? Or is it not that big of a difference from A regular fabricated knuckle?

Uhm, without the portals your running the lower control arm below spindle center because of the cv joint and your limited in cv angle on down travel, your up travel is limited by bottoming out the chassis, and you can only put the diff so low, so the short of it is you can get more travel out of a 4x4 trophy truck with portals than without. The extra unsprung mass sucks but putting 1000 or 1100hp down takes 4 wheels.....
