By the way the quality of the image and editing is just as best as it could be while filming in insane terrain and conditions (i mean the series when you guys drove in the carpathians in 2021) It is the best 4x4 offroad series i have even seen!

Hopefully, you'll drop the reduction from 35% to a more tame 20%. The guys in the US use their trucks/suv for everything. We need them to be able to go 110kph to 145kph for the freeway without overheating.
Currently saving up, gonna buy a portal axle for my Bronco in 2026.
We use 37-38" tires and ride at 150-160kph for long distances. No problems with overheating.

I was searching youtube for portals axles for the chevy 2500/3500HD models and found this.
Hey looking to do portals on a Porsche Cayenne 957 no one has done it and they have low range center diff and some come with rear diff lock as well

Portal axels for the F-150 is awesome because I'll be getting them for my 2017. But the Ford Expedition is the untapped market with independent front and rear from 2004-2023 so there are no lift kits available. I myself have a 2006 4x4 and I have searched with no luck if you could please help us all with making our Expeditions more offroad worthy.
Can i use this in our expedition build? We woll be running raptor front end then plan to use portals in the rear

How many hours does it take to develop a new kit like this? Seems like a challenge and requires previous experience. Well done !
It takes us about 3 months to develop a new kit for a new car.
Thank you all for correctly calling it an F150 instead of a Raptor like Auto Evolution did. Great upgrades. Phenomenal💯 Raptors just do not come with the 2018 style grille however. The 2nd gen Raptors take the 2015-2017 grill/styling. Period. 3rd gen are new F150 style. Idk how they missed that in their article but they did. The 2nd gen grill and style is the best looking version imho. Not saying this thing isnt incredible at all. Just a nitpick from the article in this awesome truck.👍

One more question. Does this mean that the all portal axles coming out will be like these? For example, if I order some portals for my Toyotas will they be the new generation like those shown on this video or will they be like the ones shown on your website?
We currently manufacture our gantry axles as before. The transition to the new generation is planned, but with time.
what is the gear ratio of this new portal reductors? old one was 30% right?
Our standard kits have a 35%. This kit (F-150 only) has 33%.

We don't have that information yet. We need to study the differences between the two. But nothing is impossible.

@@Werewolf4x4 I'm talking about nissan patrol y61 and jeep wrangler jl, will the portals be like on this ford with 15cm clearance or 13 cm clearance as on previous portals?
@@aleksandarstojkovic9108 You will be able to fit 16" rims on the Y61. On the JL, 17" and larger.
The ground clearance will increase by 130mm. Only for the F-150 we made 150mm.

What’s the service interval?
Change the oil at the same intervals as in the axles.
It's an axle, no combustion or clutch. The question is how often do you change your diff oil? 😂 Pretty sure some people answer never.
74weld recommends changing the gear oil on their portals every 5000miles.
@@Werewolf4x4I’m contemplating commissioning a set for an electric vehicle. Those vehicles have independent suspension and don’t require regular gear oil replacement.
