- 2023 5th Gen 4Runner on 74Weld Portal Axles and 37" Tires.
We're sitting at well over $100K into this 4Runner. $50k for the 4Runner, $20k portal axles, $10k supercharger, $5k KC Lights, $5k Dirt King Suspension with Heim UCAs, and everything else. Some of the other mods include Backwoods Adventure Mods bumper, sliders, and roof rack, JD Fab Pivot kit & labor, ARB Air locker and labor, ARB onboard air twin compressor, Go Fast Superlight RTT, 37" YOKO G003s, KMC Impact beadlocks +25, plate system, RCR-12 switch controller and more.
You could say we went a little overboard on this build. lol

Bro the clearance is freaking nuts! Great walk around too!
Thanks Jon! Super appreciate it my dude.
HOOOOOLLLY COW. Looks insane, you have more ground clearance than a helicopter, BIIIIIIG portal guy!
Hahaha thanks guys, NGL the KC Lights pull it all together though. Loving the new Gravity Titan.
Hawk Tuah build to say the least. Eat that trail son 🙌🏽😤
hahahha nice. Thanks Arsh!
Whats crazy is most of the overland builds out there also have $50k+ in their rigs on top of the vehicle and aren’t nearly as capable as this build. There are lots of $100k rigs out there but yeah, this one is pretty dialed.
That thing is awesome! Happy to be included on such a sick build!
You guys make some killer products. Love the recovery gear and handles!!
Built with the best👊
Ayoooooo
Love the portals and 37s Nicee
Hell yeah things a beast! Also love the new tire setup.
Yeah, the Yoko G003s are much better on this build than the X-MTs
Shout out the 4Runner gang
This build is soooo harddddd great work man!!!!
Thank you!
Portal Patty looks great 👍🏻
hahha the OG name that didn't stick. lol
That’s weird. No comments from the peanut gallery calling this a pavement princess anymore huh??? Sick action shots on legit rocks!
Hahah - I remember seeing those comments. Was thinking same thing. Where are the haters now. 🤐🤐🤐
@@JeannetteCollier-d6q Oh they'll come out. Just wait. lol
So sick man. The portals, the blower, the lights. Love everything about it.
Thank you!!
I'd take this over a $100k Range Rover any day 👌
Agreed 10000000000000%
Haha for sure.
Looking rad! Stoked for you!
Thank you!
Just awesome
Lighting is dope 7:00
Simple build that is ultra functional.
Thank you!
@@TrailCoMedia you're welcome. I'm saving for portals.
I want to hear more about those magnetic rock light mounts!
this build is badasss!!!!!!
Love it!!!🔥🔥 4Runner portal gang🤘🏻
Thanks Chad!!
HUUGEEEE Portal guyyy, this rig is stacked i LOVE it 🙏😮💨🔥
Thank you!!
Such an epic build, the portal clearance is insane!
Fantastic video. Them portals are a game changer!
The best part about this build is how stoked you seem over it.
Insaaaannne clearance! Was waiting on the rock to hit your sliders and it did not even touch!! 🤯😮💨😮💨😮💨
What's good with that transfer case shift knob?
That should be dropping soon: trailmade.com/product/5th-gen-4runner-transfer-case-dial-knob/ - We're looking at around 30 days before that's in stock ready to ship.
Made light work of that trail
All thanks to 74W for sure.
Everything hella nice ….. and $10 rock lights 🤣
Sometimes you're in a pinch and need 2-day prime. lol
This build is pretty awesome, but i wanna see more action man, i wanna see this 4runner do crazy trails, the most intense 4runner off roading I’ve seen has been with near stock 4runners.
We're working on more action focused content!
Damn 🔥🔥🔥
I want portals like a fat kid wants cake
Well said. lol
super cool vid.
I’ve recently got a 3rd gen 2001 4Runner as my first car, if you have any recommendations for first fixes or any tips, please tell me! Thanks!
Insane! So looks like you kept the stock steering rack and tied rod ends, how are they holding up?
So far, so good! Will need to upgrade later though.
Yeah, yeah. That's cool and all, but what beef jerky you eatin?
Dyno it!
Lemme get them portals guy
Come get them lol
Also, this guy says he's "somewhat happy" with a $100k build LOL
We're getting there. Still might 3-link the rear with some coilovers. Need to push the rear axle back a bit more to clear the 37s. Still needs a rear bumper and some other bits. We're close though.
be interesting to see if the portals cook tie rods and cv's
