Actually, china has 3 class of bullet train, c, d and G.If you want to travel at 300 km/h , then Book a G series bullet train.
Ooo that’s crazy fast!! I’d be asleep if my symptoms were the same 🤣
in fact,300km/hour is past,it is 350 km/hour now……
@@JackAynsleyTravelThe Business Class on Fuxing G train is the top class in China with a small suite to yourself and at 350km/h ,

The secret for a smooth ride on Chinese high speed train is 1) most parts of the lines are straight. They use thousands of bridges and tunnels to make the lines as straight as possible. 2) the track jointing method is extremely high tech. The joints have only 3mm variation. That means if you touch the joint, you can't even feel it. 3) to ensure the tracks are not expanded or contracted due to temperature variation, the tracks are clamp down once every half meter. ONCE EVERY HALF METER! Imagine how many clamps are used.
So every 1km there are 2000 clamps😂
Oh wow I didn’t know this! That’s so great engineering for sure!
Top secret: the Chinese government is willing put money and energy on their people, including poor people, while the Western governments don't care about normal people.
@@JackAynsleyTravel To ensure driving safety, the driver is asked to step the padel once every 30 seconds, otherwise, the train will slow down and the control center will know something abnormal.
@@peanut0brainnop, 16,000, both sides, 2 rails and 2 tracks remember?
The photos you took of China are very beautiful. The country looks safe and clean, and the people are warm and friendly.
When I was a child, it took me a whole day on the road from Chengdu to Chongqing, but now it only takes 2 hours.
Oh wow really? Train travel has come a long way!
现在不需要 就300多公里 也就是1个小时多点
@@user-wf3wb5rq9e 我是把从家到高铁站的时间也加上去了😂
A whole day on snaky and slow and dangerous mountain roads. Now we got straight highways😂
@@JackAynsleyTravel When I traveled from Fuzhou to Beijing for the first time by train in 1990, it took me 46 hours, now it just takes around 8 hours.
Chengdu and Chongqing may be the 2 cities which have least sunny days in China😂
Chongqing is called the fog capital of China.
and there is a idiom in China about Sichuan weather, " Sichuan dogs bark toward the sun", because dogs rarely see it.
I honestly believe that about Chongqing but it was so sunny in Chengdu when we went!
That saying about the dog made me laugh 🤣
@@JackAynsleyTravel 🤪🤪🤪
The focus is on fog, not haze.Because there are many mountains and rich vegetation, and several big rivers flow through them.
that is in winter
Yes, in China, when in doubt, scan a QR code. Works 90% of the time.
Hahah so true!
Chongqing is "the city of fog" because of the whole city buid on a mountain. So Chongqing always looks cloudy and rainy , not because of air pollution. In this reason The weather in Chongqing is very humid, which has led to the local people's habit of eating spicy food. because spicy food can warm up the body.
For first-class high-speed trains, you have separate lounges and security checkpoints. And when you board the train, a dedicated person will serve you and guide you to your seat.
nah thats business class , not first-class
I think it is only for commercial class. First class is about the same as other classes, just more exclusive and spacious carriage with much less seats.
Oh wow that’s fancy haha, a nice KFC and queue is fine for us haha!
You show us the real China , thank you for your hard work.
I enjoy your videos on China without prejudice, arrogance, pre-conception and judgemental. You travel every where in China with an open mind. 😅
Two smart, optimistic and fun explorers, I wish you a happy journey.
Ladies and gentlemen, Ryan Gosling is on the train!
LOL
Wooo everywhere is clean such a nice country. Very progressive country. In our country such tipe of facilities we ncannot imagen.love you jack you show us real face of china❤❤❤❤❤
Thank’s you so much for these video’s, they are so interesting to watch. Congratulations you guys on hitting 1M on 2 of your video’s. You both deserve it with hard work and editing. I always get so exited when your video’s keep popping up!
Hey Nicola! Thanks for enjoying this video too and for the support! ❤️
@@JackAynsleyTravel Your both very welcome! ❤️
Wow, the train station looked exactly like an airport. Nice video.
‘🧑✈️Chongqing? ‘ ‘🥸I am Jack’. LOL, super hilarious conversation. Really appreciate your willingness to communicate with local people in all occasions
Me too, that conversation felt hilarious, but very humble on both side. That’s what I call human to human touch regardless of language barriers
That was FUNNY: the steward was asking where you were heading to, you replied:" I'm Jack". LOL
Paige should start her own channel , she is such a hoot ❤❤ love that girl
Really enjoyed your vlog! you two have such great personalities ❤. Enjoy your time in China!
Welcome to China, I like your videos very much,it's so real. It is worth mentioning that you have a great talent for languages, your Mandarin pronunciation is very standard.🎉🎉
With fast quiet trains like that that there is no more need to check in early for flights and be squashed into small airplane seats, you can forget about airports. I just found your video in my feeds as i enjoy China content so i will subscribe and follow you both on your Chinese Odyssey 👍
Yes so true, I always prefer travelling on trains over planes!
Where’s part 2? Can’t wait😂
Part 2 coming later this week!
Nice video, im going to Chongqing this November and going to be my first time cant wait!!!
Oh amazing! We have a few videos from Chongqing coming so hopefully we inspire some ideas for you!
You guys can actually order KFC on the train.

Jack once again thank you so much for today's fantastic & informative video. Your today's journey explained well about China's transportation technology. As I'm also a big fan of Train Traveling, I think train journey is always fascinating experience than other sources. We enjoy visiting different places, interact with many people and experience various cultures.
Your effort is really appreciative.
keep it up...
We will be waiting for your upcoming videos...
Good Luck both 👍👍
I love train travel too! We are taking a LONG train in a few videos time, I hope you stick around to enjoy that video too!

加拿大人少 也有人坐火车 不应该自己开车嘛

Thanks for your interesting vlog❤
Thanks pal! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I still remembered the first fast rail was started in June 2008 between Tianjin and Beijing. Since then 48k fast rail network has been build across the country, absolutely amazing. But what people do not know is the highway net work is 3-5 times more density than Europe, and the quality of them are top of the world.
In China's high-speed rail first-class cabins, the seats can be adjusted to a very comfortable angle, and even fully reclined. Just like on an airplane, there are also footrests. You can lie down and take a nap comfortably during the journey. The control buttons are on the inside of the armrest of the seat, and there is a small table in the armrest that can be pulled out to place items. You can try it next time for a more comfortable experience.
This look like a Airport but a railway station. Quite impressive architecture.
Cool train experience
I have been watching your videos in China this afternoon! It touches my heart very badly especially I saw you drink with Beijing local guys in Hutong! It is fantastic time that Chinese people and English people eating and drinking together! I thought if I am there I would love to help translate for your real and funny men! Enjoy you amazing trip in China! You are great!👍👍
What a smooth ride on China‘s bullet train!
Wow, You are going to Chongqing! Love to travel with you along the way!
Yess!! A few videos from Chongqing to come, very exciting!
You have purchased a business seat, which allows you to enter the business waiting room. There are dedicated waiters to accompany you on board,. In the tenth minute of the video, you can go in the opposite direction to the business waiting room, where there are free snacks and drinks, as well as a pair of waiters who will take you on board
Oh yes I remember seeing this lounge! I was happy with my KFC though 😅

Although all these major achievements are great (infrastructures, high-speed rail, airports, space station, lunar explorations, EVs, battery technology, AI leadership, aircraft carriers, money-less payment systems, etc., etc.), however the most aspect and characteristics of China is its peaceful nature in its global policies. The friendliness of its population toward visiting guests is another beauty of China. The tasty food also helps a lot.
Watch our video from Beijing, it’s the everyday people that make this country great
Considering that China has a population of 1.4 billion and a very large annual passenger flow, China's train stations are larger than some airports in other countries
Brilliant
The ticketing entrance you queued up is for business class, elder people (60+), passengers with baby or on wheelchair, and the disabled.
not just that - all non-citizens of China must also use that line as well because they need to use passport to check in - I knew because I just came back from a 4-week trip and a ton of HSR rides around China. Upon arrival, we must also use a manned exit so a clerk can check out passport.
@@spikermike2843 actually I didn't mean the manned entrance parallel to the regular ones. If you observe carefully, you'll see a steel gate with a blue sign board just on the side of the entrance device.
Wow , the train is soooo fast, wish we had clean efficient trains lol x
Like your video! When will you release the next video? Can't wait to see how fancy is you hotel room!

Chongqing is a crazy city cause it's so hard to plan my day based on a map. I always end oup either above or below my destination. Best transportation is its subway. I only found out last day when I was there.

The progress behind this country is their language, they don't care about english. In school, universities they prefer chinese languages.

When you're on a train and your eardrums feel bad, maybe you could try opening your mouth a little wider, it'll make you feel better
Chinese high speed train network covers over 28,000 KM in about 10 years, connecting almost all cities. They are through mountains, through rivers and even have one line goes all the way to Tibet plateau. It is one of the world's biggest engineering feasts in history. A true miracle.
It's like the "great wall" project repeated 1000x
Through rivers? That’s crazy! We take a VERY long train later in the trip you’ll definitely want to watch haha
