Before we visited China, we watched your videos in China; While we were visiting China( Guangzhou, Hainan province), we watched your videos in China; Now we left China and back in Canada, I’m here still watching your videos in China. Amazing China, so much to see, try and enjoy. Infinite charm!Keep enjoying your stay in China! ❤
Nice video!! A quick tip: Chinese usually don't ask other people's given name. We prefer asking the last name (like 你贵姓, what's your last name) and add Uncle/Auntie/Brother/Sister to the last name. That's why people hesitate every time you ask their names.
Correct, but as a southern Chinese (I am from Guangdong and living in Australia), I think mainly northern Chinese would ask surname, especially to elderly people. Nin Gui Xing (您贵姓,what's your honoured surname). Southern Chinese, especially Cantonese people, and especially young people, would ask: Zen Me Cheng Hu Ni (怎么称呼你,how should I call you).
Ah man you are too cool....working that dragon first thing in the morning after being stuffed in that train all night. We laughed so hard and really enjoyed your participation. The Chinese people are very friendly really want to be helpful. What an amazing and beautiful country and such a long historical culture. I hope to visit soon. Have fun
The food looks so delicious! I’m so happy you’re both enjoying your trip in China 🇨🇳. I find it so interesting to see how other people live their day-to-day lives! Jack, your video makes me laugh all the time. It's the beginning of a happy day. However, in China, people who are not familiar with or know each other for the first time don't need to ask their names, because it is considered impolite to call them by their names directly, and address them directly according to their age. Young men are called handsome (shuai ge帅哥), women are called beauty (mei nu美女), and older people are called uncle (shushu叔叔) and aunt (a yi阿姨)or grandpa(yeye爷爷) grandma(nai nai奶奶) directly. This is more in line with Chinese culture, and it is usually impolite to ask the name without deeper understanding, because Chinese people have deeper clan concepts, and they are afraid that they will bring bad influence to the clan by doing something wrong. Have a good trip!😊😊🌹
That breakfast 'burrito' is actually a Tianjin specialty (roughly 50mi from Beijing). It's sooooo popular that you can buy from any random breakfast cart from anywhere in China 🤤
of course you will meet some good mates on the sleeping train, but only in economy area, it's kinda like old times bar, some people drinking and some people playing cards, especially the train to the North, the northern mates always more bad ass than the southern, because they always drink, I hope you enjoy your trip and don't drink too much😂😂😂you will miss your train stop!
mate if you going on a sleeping train you gotta aware in the economy bed area there perhaps smells bad😂😂😂, it's not that often but sometimes, and noisy, some kids will wake you up in the midnight.

Yes, just like Westerners don’t like to be asked their age

Nin Gui Xing (您贵姓,what's your honoured surname). Southern Chinese, especially Cantonese people, and especially young people, would ask: Zen Me Cheng Hu Ni (怎么称呼你,how should I call you).
Yes, you'd better ask the Last name(姓),您贵姓? And you can call 王叔uncle Wang,李阿姨aunt Li,张哥brother Zhang, etc.
If I were asked my full name by someone I had just met, it would feel like I was being interrogated by the police.
Jack is a super social butterfly 😍

Actually, the egg castle jack ate is called 蛋堡,the true name is egg burger, haha
You should try Harbin red sausage
You can always find story in green color train
watching live from affordable houses
Harbin named from Manchu language Swan Land, because local river Songhua River shoal attracts millions of swans in summer.
Well, bro, you should at least try taking the fancier trains for your wife once.😜😜😜
Harbin's epic!
Your Chinese improved a lot. Surprised that you called the man “Lao Shi”.

Living in China is really comfortable and safe
bro took a photo with you 😂
I suggest you go to a place, Changxing County, Zhejiang Province.
Jack should be entitled as an avid linguist. 👍
Sleeper trains are good places to communicate with Chinese people
That breakfast 'burrito' is actually a Tianjin specialty (roughly 50mi from Beijing). It's sooooo popular that you can buy from any random breakfast cart from anywhere in China 🤤
This guy in the train was extremely polite. I live in Switzerland but you can forget this kind of standard here
