Any advice on trying to instill the principle of unconditional self-acceptance? It is something that I would encourage other people to adopt and live by but for some reason I can’t encourage myself that I am worthy of it (even though I know this is a false thought being fueled by OCD). I would appreciate yours advice. Thanks for the video!!
Hi Matthew. You’re welcome! Ask yourself ‘where is conditional self acceptance getting me?’ I would imagine the results are mostly negative. Unconditional acceptance is excellent for life in general as well as OCD recovery.
My question is...i am now getting into accepting a mistake, but what bout my future boyfriend or my friends, isnt me not telling this event making me a liar and hiding my true self?
Yo am i the only one laughing my ass off watching this? It just sounds so much more ridiculous when said out loud through a third party speaker lollll dont get me wrong, ive dealt with crippling moral scrupulosity for a long time now but actually hearing how this sounds is hilarious omg. It just shows how none sense our ocd rly is when we get out of our heads and see whats really happening
Always a pleasure to have you on the channel Sam! You have excellent insight!
Appreciate the support as usual Nick!
I know I did something horrible to someone, and I don’t know how to find acceptable in it. I’m really struggling with it

I question this as well
In a similar position, debating whether a beautiful lie is better than the ugly truth when it comes to someone I care about.
