Thanks for showing a less than ideal day out there. I would do it just because I had an amazing day out there this month. It was more than what I hoped for after watching you video. Plan according to the schedule and you have time to enjoy all the included activities. 1 to 1.5hours in the water is fine with me, by that you time have seen most sea creatures. Most visitors on my boat trip did not bother to venture out and see more anyway so the pontoon operator did not even need to restrict the swimming area. Mind you that was a 34C day with no swell or wind.
@@Guoenyi I'm so glad you had a good day and got to see what you wanted. I have done this trip several times and this was the only bad experience, so if the weather is great then it can be worth checking out 👍😀

@@ivaweir2899 it's north Queensland.... crocs and jellys can be around
That sign means do not swim. There is no swimming allowed at Endeavour falls and jellyfish are in the sea.@@AquariusTraveller

What is the best weather site to check before booking a trip?
@@KerryScott-r9v BOM or bureau of meteorology is generally my go to for weather...... look for tides, rain and wind speed 😀

Growing up in QLD. I stay as far away as possible from anything TOURISTie! Almost all (Not all) TOURIST attractions are Cheap and Tacky! But boy they sting Ya!!!
@@markrowley8177 you've nailed it there. I like a lot of touristy things and most sting the budget... but it's really annoying when paying that amount is the only way to see it 😒
I can recommend Kuranda and the Skyrail. The Reef was also fantastic.

can we use trams without go cards?
The tram on the Gold Coast was fitted with smart ticketing and you could use a credit card for an adult fare.
I stayed in Airlie Beach but didn't go to Whitsunday Islands. I hope I can visit next trip to Australia.

Townsville population is 200,000 not 2,000 😊 next time try visiting Crystal Creek outside of Ingham. Nice swimming spots you might like to explore.

We did the reef pontoon yesterday. It was a horrible experience. Cattle class tourism. I would not recommend any does this trip with Cruise Whitsundays. It was unacceptable problem, one after another.
@@FairdinkumErskine 😪😪 so sorry you had this experience and your right... very cattle class I do still like the inner reef snorkelling and can sometimes see some better creatures here too. I hope the rest of Airlie Beach made for a great holiday ❤️

What a fabulous place, great video Chris. I've not been there for a long time, went to Straddie Blues festival's many years ago.
@@adventurewithbernie been a couple of years for us and still...so much had changed. It was so much harder to get to Frenchman's beach before and now, a new staircase. We had such a fun day and compared to other day trips from Brisbane...it was more cost effective. Thanks so much for watching 😀❤️

All up it was 2 hours from Brisbane Central to Surfers Paradise - Thats Train and Connecting to Tram. But it was only 5 to 10 minutes at Helensvale on the transfer
Wow, amazing travelling from Bris bane to Gold Coast on the tram. Did you get of the tram at Helensvale Train station?
Yes, Hard Rail Train to Helensvale, then a quick 100 or 200 metres walk up and down stairs to the Tram Platform, and that take you direct to Surfers Paradise
