    At 10:29, an alternative with the cobb loaf filling is a tin of Creamed Corn, and a small tin of chopped asparagus spears stir in an egg for extra protein and serve the same way.

    Its so dam good there. I have been to double Island . Coming back from double Island we lost our 4wd to 2 King tides. Water got up in our air things. And we had to walk 9 hrs. We had our friend who had a walking stick. And it was scary. Had to swim thru high waters. A mate ran as soon as it happened to get help. By the time we got back the rescue ppl were out in choppers n boats looking for us. But we pushed so hard to safety. Our feet were blistered n cut. Hard to walk. But we got there and collapsed. It was a mission I'd never forget. That day the tides changes rapidly. Always keep an eye on the weather. We followed everyone and still had no help. The next day our 4wd was up to the chassis of the car and more. Could only salvage the tyres. Got it out of there and the wreckers took it. A massive big 4wd truck took my partner down to dig it out. It took hours. But a memory will we will never forget. And we had no car to get back home. Had to leave everything at the rainbow caravan camping park. As we had to train it home. They said they would look after it all. Once we bout a cheap $500 car. Went back to get all our belongings and the trades who were there working left us with our Doona. So we weren't happy. Fridges all camping equipment gone. Don't trust anyone.

      You could fit a Kings 300ah Battery into the same space/and place your 200ah is ( their the same size-ish ) you can change like for like with the new regulations with out a worry and move the 200ah into back of car ,fit a Renogy 3000w inverter to that 200 and then run Van off the 200ah until it’s almost empty and recharge it when you go driving in car everyday . Should be all you ever need and it’s cheap $900 battery ,$400 inverter you fit it and ya done two fuses run ya 15amp extension lead into Renogy inverter Because it takes them ! Look into it 🙏

    I love Teewah but it's getting crazy. We booked Zone 1, arrived at 3:30pm. But it was full. I don't know if there were people not camping according to their permits but the authority does need to enhance the management.

    • @fivedownunder
      @fivedownunder  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yea we were there for 3 days and we actually didn't see a ranger, so unsure if that's normal or if we just missed them when we went for a drive, I think during peak season and summer I could imagine it being very very busy!

    Great Video. Love Teewah and The Cooloola Beaches. Don't know if you did but if its really soft like that just drop your tyre pressures right down to close to 10psi.

    Fantastic video guys!!! Can't wait to try going on the sand with the caravan! Pretty scary though! LOL!! Am I able to pick your brains about something TH-cam related? I have made my first video public but I can't seem to get the Comments showing? Any ideas why?? I know you are a TH-cam expert!!!

    • @fivedownunder
      @fivedownunder  15 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hahaha yes! Driving on the sand can be very daunting and unpredictable!
      I just did it on my phone on the TH-cam app so hopefully you can also find it, find your video and then 3 dots, click edit and then there's a button to change comments from off to on 😜

      I just tried your instructions and it said I couldn’t activate comments as I thought I was doing the right thing by setting it suitable for kids but if you do this comments are automatically turned off! So odd! Anyway think it is working now… hopefully!! Thanks for the advice!! Happy travels!!!

    Hi, great videos. Wife has been subscribed for a while so I decided to subscribe myself. Must be scary to tow a big van like that on the beach for the first time.
    I saw you level your caravan using an app on your phone, which app was that and is your phone Apple or Android ?
    Thanks again.

    Your battery is right, because you don't have a shunt, your BMS can't measure inverter loss

    • @fivedownunder
      @fivedownunder  หลายเดือนก่อน

      We have a victron shunt installed 😁
