Loved this tutorial, your explanations are always the best! Today I decided to challenge myself by trying this pose for the first time and unexpectedly I got the advanced version, while the easy one felt almost impossible...I find it such a weird thing, I'm so confused right now😂😂
😂 I actually changed the terminology I use to describe these 2 variations now as i don’t think advanced/beginner is particularly accurate. It very much depends on your personal strengths/struggles in terms of twisting and upper body strength as to which one you’ll find more accessible! Glad you found one that works!
I had to search over and over on youtube to find a side crow tutorial with somebody who actually has more muscle on them/also has larger chest like I do. Glad for this thank you so much!!
This was a brilliant tutorial! I have struggled with crow pose for ages but using the beginner option meant I actually floated for more than 1 sec! Bit more practice and I might even be ready for the advanced version
Your explanations are great! I will give this a try soon. I wonder why you have only few subscribers. I am sure you will grow big. Good luck and thank you for your videos!
Wow, thank you sooo much. With your explanation I achieved this pose for the first time and it felt sooo good. You took away my fear from falling over. I just found your channel, it looks amazing, I signed up right away. Thank you again for this. 🙏💕☀
Start from the chair pose then put 1 leg on the other side, other thight, then start To slowly fall on 1 side, bit by bit and you can do thé posture in a very easy way..
Please do plow pose. Can't do it by any means, have no strenght on my tummy-maybe because I'm overweight, maybe because I have no tummy strenght after a c-section. Thank you!
Loved this video, haven’t ever been able to do regular crow after 10 years of yoga but I mastered the easy version of side crow after one watch! Working on the advanced version now and hopefully regular crow - I either faceplant or just fall back, there’s no inbetween for me on that one 🤦🏼♀️😂
I've been trying to follow your lesson. My legs keep slipping off my arms whenever I lift my body. Could you tell me please what might be causing it? Thanks
Love that easy version !! I can do crow easily but could never do side crow before. I still can't do the advanced version (I'm very much pear shaped it's hard to have the upper body strength to compensate for my butt xD), but at least now I've found an easier variation i can try to master first when this pose comes up in videos or on yoga apps ! Thanks :)
I can do crow, side crow not so much 🙁 there’s a guy in my class who is 73 who puts his mat by me and he can do side crow and I can’t!! It’s embarrassing!!! Hopefully this video will save me some shame in my next class 😳

you may need to try bending your elbows a little more to create a better shelf but it's not really possible for me to know as I can't see you!
Now do it one handed

I find the side crow so much easier than the simple crow which scares me
