I mainly play VR games at high resolution on my headset and the combo I have 4070ti super + 5700x + 32GB and it has been perfect for my VR gaming. VR gaming is mainly GPu intensive, thus my combo gives me smooth 90 in most games and 120 on popular shooters and 72 on the most demanding VR games/mods (VR really needs to have consistent FPS).
Exactly. A5 and Ddr5 usage will be normal within a year and more games will have those requirements for basic performance soon. Waiting will save a lot of regrets.
It won't be the same price. New AMD SKUs are looking to be $100-$200 more than Ryzen 7000 launch prices. They'll obviously drop in time, but leaks indicate higher prices at launch on the 31st.
I had a white oc asus dual 4070 super for about a month it was great but it made me realize since I'm a sim racer that I could get 4k 120fps with a 4080 super in the games I play so I upgraded and that was natively but the 4070 supee shocked me. It also made me realize how many games these cards can do in 1440p ultra/epic or 4k ultra/epic so much better then I've seen compared to some of the few synthetic benchmarks of games not optimized to well. So yeah the 4070 super is the best priced nvidia gpu out and go for it guys if you can and it's in your budget. Loving my strix 4080 super 😉 Btw I'm still using 16gb of ram haha. I was finding if you willing to give up a little performance you can replace the processor and motherboard that is on the futureproof AM5 platform. The processor would be the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X and the motherboard would be the Asrock B650M Pro RS (which is the only budget broad at $130 that has decent VRMS to handle the Ryzen 9 7900X). (Note the only bad thing is that it does use DRR5 which can be expensive, but is worth it) Yeah you would be losing some performance now but in the future you can upgrade your CPU to a better one. To me that’s seems like a fair tradeoff especially when it comes out to a similar price.

I have a 7600X alongside a 7900XT from XFX and it’s been amazing. I’m at 1440p ultrawide and play FPS mostly. Battlefield tends to stress the processor the most but that’s common with any BF title. With less than two weeks until the 9600X and 9700X, though, I’d wait and see what those processors cost before buying a 7600X.
@@darkshadowx803 BF4, BF1, BF Hardline (when a server will populate), BF5, and occasionally 2042. Play a lot of CoD also. Some Hell Let Loose and BodyCam can be fun. All those games perform so well with the processor and video card. Forza Horizon and Assetto Corsa are a blast and look great too.
Oh that’s hard well the 7800XT has more VRAM and is priced much cheaper at around $480 making it an excellent value for 16GB VRAM GPU. However it does fail in Raytar cing. Meanwhile the 4070 super does beat the 7800XT by about 14% but it is also $120 more making it about 40% more expensive. In addition it only has 12GB VRAM. The advantage is that you get access to DLSS and RayTarcing features. That is why it is difficult. Personally if it I were I I would get the 7800XT as its better value and I don’t care about Raytracingz But if you do care about Raytracing then the 4070 super is the better pick.
Haven’t you heard about the ring bus issue with 13th and 14th gen Intel processors. Only 12th gen is safe. In addition I wouldn’t be touching Intel right now. Go AMD

How about ryzen 5 700f or 7600 with 4070 super
Both are great 👍 and will work great with the 4070 super
Can you do the 7900 Gre or XT next
Yep - stay tuned!
@@Teh_Monk what battlefield do you play?
@@darkshadowx803 BF4, BF1, BF Hardline (when a server will populate), BF5, and occasionally 2042. Play a lot of CoD also. Some Hell Let Loose and BodyCam can be fun. All those games perform so well with the processor and video card. Forza Horizon and Assetto Corsa are a blast and look great too.
@@Teh_Monk want to play 2042 together?
14:54 KMT, was struggling to get 70fps not 60fps.
Im going to build a 7800x3d and a 7600xt build because I play cpu games what’s your guys thoughts ?
Try going for at least RX 7700XT and by the way what games do you play?
@@TheHankoook decided I’ll just get 7900xt and Roblox Minecraft cities skylines grow castle Fortnite Warzone
Would the gpu not bottleneck with the cpu?
Seconded! He legit made a video a month ago saying so about this exact GPU/CPU combo...?
It will bottle neck but it’s great performance and graphics still for a cheaper build
Should I get a 7800xt or a rtx 4070 super?
Depends on what you want from your build. The 4070S has better RT, DLSS etc as covered in this video
@@GeekaWhat what about in terms of price to performance or just performance out of the box?
Oh that’s hard well the 7800XT has more VRAM and is priced much cheaper at around $480 making it an excellent value for 16GB VRAM GPU. However it does fail in Raytar cing.
Meanwhile the 4070 super does beat the 7800XT by about 14% but it is also $120 more making it about 40% more expensive. In addition it only has 12GB VRAM. The advantage is that you get access to DLSS and RayTarcing features.
That is why it is difficult.
Personally if it I were I I would get the 7800XT as its better value and I don’t care about Raytracingz
But if you do care about Raytracing then the 4070 super is the better pick.
Would a 650w psu be enough for this gpu?
Yes it is but if you can get a 750w one for a bit more would be great for future upgrades
i have £1400 to buy a prebuilt do u have any recommendations?
build your own pc with that money, better specs for cheaper
@@zicksee0 too long
i have a 5900x and a 2060 (ik its old 😭), im thinking of upgrading to a 4070 will that be good
Bro the 2060 is holding back ur cpu, a 4070 super with a 5900x is a great match go for it
@@ethaneaves_04 okay ty ill save up for one then
if i get 550w psu will it work good? its 4070 , i512600k, micro motherboard
Check pc part picker
If you want the best future-proof ability then get a 750 watt PSU.
Why not hop on am5?
He could have hopped on AM5 with the 7600X and Asrock B650M pro RS.
It would still be the same price or little more.
@@AnonymousUser-ww6ns yeah and then you'd have an upgrade path and stable cpu's
What fans did you use on the front?
I think they come as standard with the case
I JUST SEARCHED FOR THIS WTF
Haha awesome timing! Hope it helps dude
@@GeekaWhat next build can you please do nzxt h6 flow white and rtx 4070 super?
Why pc part picker says warning
Nah. U need to do a 12th or 13th gen intel build with a nividia card
NOT 13th gen lmfao!
@@deadchannelfrom2018 Why? It's faster and smoother than most amd cpus.
Haven’t you heard about the ring bus issue with 13th and 14th gen Intel processors.
Only 12th gen is safe.
In addition I wouldn’t be touching Intel right now. Go AMD
@@AnonymousUser-ww6ns U obviously don't know how to fix that do u? That's why when u buy any cpu u have to lock all the performance cores so number 5 and 6 core, usually, don't have over voting issues and cause degrade failures over time. With intel u can fix the drivers. Amd u cannot. When they fail, they are junk. This problem has been here for 12 years now
@langu People were reporting that the fix didn’t work. But yeah undervolting is the solution to fix.
But yeah Intel is still guilty for what they did and I think they need to issue a recall.
Which country
pleas i want name your screen msi ?
Nice..Can the case fit a 360 aio cooler on top?
The bottleneck is crazy
Building a new PC with a 4070 Super with Zen3 makes little sense
Good ❤

Tbh get 7900 gre. Its better

$1200 and no AM5?
Explained this in the video :)
Spend $60 bucks more you will get a future-proof AM5 platform. That pretty good to me.
AMD YES YES YES!!
