The things Bluebird Azurite gave Steven to eat are some of the most common allergens. Peanuts, shellfish, and grass (pollen?).
She was trying to send Steven into anaphylactic shock 😅

For me, the last episode was kinda weird, until sunstone took over at the end for the 4th wall breaking safety tips. While not a conventional episode, it was pretty funny, but it is planting seeds for future episodes as well.
Is no one gonna mention how that "Beautiful bag of hair" may or may not be Greg's hair that Onion found floating in the ocean?
At the end of future, I looked back at sunstone's episode and understood why it was included. A peek into Steven's current psyche, overworked and overwhelmed and seemingly unable to handle tasks he would normally be capable of. Remember this for the last leg of the journey.

i think it's funny because we see he overworking here and turn out they're acting for commercial.
And since it's an commercial , noone are asking is steven is really alright or he just as good as an actor (to be real ,he is acting like that for YEARS )

The show makes you question things then back out a lil to make it look like it's for show but it isn't and the next episode really tells you that
For me, Steven universe future is kinda just like the wrap up to the series. Answering unanswered questions and just showing us what life is like without constantly being on the verge of death or being hunted by unknown space gems. But don’t worry, the later episodes actually get better
Yeah, like they didn't have the time in the main series to show off steven's fusions with the gems as much as they wanted, so they wanted an episode showing off what they're like & how they talk and act more than the brief tiny moment in the finale of the main series. Which I'm not against, & it's not like it's their fault they had to cram as much as they could to answer fans lingering questions and wants in this last chunk of episodes. To me SUF feels something like fanservice & a speedrun of all the ideas they had originally had for the main series wrapped up altogether.
It never answered what was in the now opened chest sadly
What I like about future is how they show the people living thier daily lives without being in constant treat of enemies and dangers at every episode, it’s actually quite chill like having to babysit and things…however it’s no so chill when the baby your sitting is ONION 🧅 😂
I love bluebird that little sh*t being a fusion of one of my favorite villains Aquamarine and eyeball was cool. I liked that being fused with aquamarine was able to upgrade Ruby’s little weapon to an ice sword that can multiply. I love that they both actually stayed villains instead of being swayed by Steven to redemption.
So, i dont know what to tell you about this first half of been a Slice of Life, just stay on by, i promise things are going to be really serious in a short time
A lot of my favorite SU moments come from the Future series. The way I experienced it, most of the complaints came from people who were anticipating something else. For all intense porpoises there very well could be additional Steven material coming-- and this sequel show was blown apart by fandom expectations of what it ~should have been~ VERY similar to what happened with Last Airbender/Legend of Korra. Give it like five more years and just like Korra the Future series will be just as beloved as Korra is now
i feel like the 2nd episode was more an opportunity to get to know the new fusions since the original series didnt have enough time to properly showcase them. idk about other people but i enjoyed it!
That first episode, that was complete overkill, they all fused just to flex😂
I love the bluebird episode. It was just a silly little "filler" episode but it was really fun, and playing fun at tv shows having those types of big 4th wall breaking messages from back in the day.

i love episode 6 lol, i personally don't mind the slice-of-life/fillery episodes so long as they're 1. thoroughly entertaining (unlike the ronaldo episodes) and 2. not about characters i don't care about (onion gang). i even liked say uncle
I love Future because it wraps up the ends they couldn't do in the last bit of the original.
SU Future has one overarching storyline that's sort of a slow burn but is present in the background of even these two episodes. In the meantime, we get episodes like these that focus on one, or a small number, of characters and sort of serve as epilogues for their character arcs. This is the one for Aquamarine and Eyeball, and then Sunstone and Rainbow Quartz 2.0 (and Onion I guess). We've basically already gotten the episodes focused on Amethyst (and Smoky Quartz), Pearl, the Zoo Crew and the Rainbow Quartzes. It's a season-long good-bye to all the characters, basically.
Idk, the episodes so far all feel like they're building up to a big blow up from Steven and it makes me constantly anxious while watching Steven try to live out his happily ever after he wanted in the movie

I love Rainbow Quartz 2.0/ Sun Stone episode, and I think Steven Universe Future is the best season of the show
"A Very Special Episode" and "Gem Harvest" are ones where fans really got caught up in theorizing based on titles alone.

There is an arc over the series but it’s mostly the second half of the series
I would these episodes are the stepping stone for the future climax and eventually the end of Steven universe
When Greg cut his hair, I realised the time he said that magical stuff could deal with what was left of his hair, he was foreshadowing.
Don’t worry, there’s a good story arc to end it, one of my favorite arcs of the show
i agree early suf is quite strange (tho funny) but it really picks up at the end

It’s been subtly pin pointing the main story for Steven Universe Future but it’ll become clearer in episodes yet to come. I felt it was different than the previous show but I really enjoyed it for it’s shown me a side that I don’t see this much with these kind of stories

Ah the Sunstone everything you just saw didn't really happened episode... Yeah kind of a weird one. I don't even think it was necessary.
I believe that epsisode is more pointed towards themes youll see in later episodes in future. Withoit giving too much...it shows steven is putting a lot of pressure on himself and taking charge of everything around the gems, and he may be stretching himself too thin and needs to focus on himself for a bit...not everyone around him for once. Its a low key episode I feel thats gearing you up for whats to come with stevens actual growth in future.
This isn't the highlight of Future, but narratively, this Epilog attempts something really ambitious. Steven Universe had two tiny issues 1) Focusing too much on townsfolk 2) almost Zero Character development happens without Steven present - Looking back I enjoy so much but they ran out of time to do More
I love the the second one just cause of rainbow song but i love future and there is story but not a big one like steven universe was
Episode 6 of future is definitely one of the weakest ones this season for me, though it's still enjoyable. Future is mostly about tying up loose ends, completing arcsor showing more stuff about the characters we know and what they're up to. This one in particular was probably just to have more time with Rainbow Quartz and Sunstone, since it wasn't until the end of the previous season that we finally got to see them

Yeah, I liked Steven Universe Future, but even I have to admit "A Very Special Episode" was a lesser episode. I won't even blame Onion. Honestly, the part where Pearl calls Steven and freaks out about him hiding in the walls was probably the funniest bit. It's just that the whole episode was a joke, making it a waste of time. You lose the actual point of the episode that has any relevance to the main "Future" story that Steven is stressing himself out. It's 100% filler.
Yeah I don't really care for the rainbow/sunstone fusions episode. A lot of the beginning of this season is trying to help set up all the ways Steven is getting stressed and how he still needs to grow etc, but this episode didn't really push any of that forward too much. Just more screen time showing off fusions that are only really fun if you care about said fusions' dynamics
I enjoy Steven and Pearl being basically Mary Poppins. Because it's such a suitable idea.
Worst. Fusion design. EVER.
Well, except for the little green bit of her coloration. It's malachite. A toxic mineral.
Bluebird is actually my least favorite episode in this entire series. Point blank. More than any Ronaldo episode.
