Tracking the Tropics: Hurricane Hilary in the Pacific as the Atlantic lights up with activity

Parts of the Baja Peninsula in Southern California could be impacted by Hilary over the weekend. Currently, nothing is a threat to Florida.

I remember tropical storm Kay making its way to sandiego months ago and that was just a category 1 before breaking up. Here its a 4. Gonna be interesting seeing how it hits landfall sandiego

Please spread the word on social media: Californians, charge your batteries, stock up on drinking water, and get a weather radio. If I recall correctly, California hasn't seen a tropical system since 1939. Regardless of our differences, everyone deserves support during natural disasters.

Likely because it is on purpose. Likely will curve out and slam the west coast and catch them unaware ( by design )

Those lines are rough predications made with computer software, so of course they’re going to look super well made and perfect. That is not the reality. Once you understand the air currents and movement of hurricanes, you can make rough predictions of where they go.
