Without fail, if I transfer files to a flash drive from the phone using direct Type C, the entire file system will lock up, I'll power down the phone and it won't power on for at least 30-45 min... I've never experienced this with any other phone... And I've wiped to factory a few times just to see if it would make any difference, and still does it. Never had this issue with my V40 or Note8. Same flash drive, and it works great on my wife's S10...
The screen case only has the magnet charger, right? So, I'll have to take it out of the case to use the type c to hook it up to a computer or transfer a file? Do you take it out of the case often? If so, do you notice any wear on the case? I'll likely be popping it in and out of the case daily.
I thought i was going to take it out a lot more. The V50 was almost 70/30 out of the case. The V60 has basically lived in the case. I only take it out to do "reviewer stuff".

I have had this phone for a while now, YOU were the main reason why I got it haha. There are some bugs that never seemed to be fixed but it's small complaints that i have.
I can't wait for my v60 to come in the mail. I regret the 60hz display, the notch, and the lack of an IR Blaster, but the v60 looks like a power-users dream.

Hi Juan Just an FYI , the double tap was a Nokia thing , starting with the 7650 flip phone , then on symbian devices , and the Meego N9 . It was also ported to Nokia Windows phones at later stages . Best Regards

Great utility video. Can do another video on landscape dual screen uses. Apps where landscape can be productive. Word processing, text and email app uses, reading spreadsheet data, viewing videos, browsing, reviewing photos or screen shots and other uses.
LG really, really need to hire you to promote all the underrated features. Seriously, like a few comments said, the amount of promotion and advertising made by LG themselves is terribly lackluster. I am currently waiting for the V60 to be available in Singapore. Oh, and I only knew about this phone because I have a V30 and sure, it's a good phone, but I really was looking for an upgrade.
Only thing to correct is that google docs has dual screen support similar to Microsoft. Only thing to add is theres an app called G8X browser helper where you can have the browser of your choosing open on the second screen when you click a link in an app.
To me the V60 is the Ultra Instinct version of the G8x. BTW he only did two apps on one screen. You can also do multi-window which can show resizeable windowed apps almost like a PC.

JuanBagnell I have something I REALLY want you to cover since you seem to be one of the few people who will actually call out companies. I feel like us as consumers aren't heard by companies and they only listen to content creators. I just upgraded to the v60 but I still have my v20. I've noticed that the quad dac on the v60 as well as the audio via Bluetooth is not as good as the v20. Here's what I mean. On the quad dac, I used the Hyper X Cloud II headsets. When I turn the "Hi-Fi" option ON on the v20, the max volume is NOTICEABLY louder and the bass is FAR more pronounced. To the point where I can clearly hear songs with the headset off and FEEL the hear my headset buzzing a little when resting on my desk. On the v60, NOTHING happens. I just notice that I get a few eq options that don't work like they should. And that leads me to my next point. I toggle the use of the Bass Booster app because it generally was the only way to adjust EQ on the v20. This works on wired and wireless signals. The main reason I use this particular app is for the bass. On the v60 they got bass wrong. When using v60's bass preset through hi-fi (since it only works on wired) the sound just gets muddy and the bass does what I call artificial bass (because I don't know the official term). But the "bass" is supposedly increased but in reality all they did was muffle everything else. This makes the vocals and instruments sound like crap because they get quieter and sound throaty like you're hearing someones TV in another room through closed doors. The v60 also does this when using the Bass Booster app (which is what you'd need to adjust EQ via wireless audio.) The v20 doesn't have eq presets for hi-fi so I have to use bass booster for both wired/wireless. The difference is, when I activate the bass boost on the v20, the "bass" itself actually gets stronger. I tested this in my car and on my home theater setup. V60 bass preset/bass boost makes things sound muffled to try to pronounce the bass. V20 bass increase caused car subs to clip if I didn't turn down the knob, and on my home theater it would cause some rattling on my closet door (similar to subs in the trunks of cars with no sound dampening.)The vocals stayed clear and crisp but the bass' intensity actually increased. I'm hoping this is a software issue that can be updated because audio is the MAIN reason I chose to stay with the V-series. But so far, owning the v60 has been a disappointment. I will say the v60 does almost everything else better than my v20 though. Better battery, better screen, faster processing, more useful conveniences and shortcuts. Again, I REALLY need someone to use their voice for the people on this, it's kind of a deal breaker for me as bass loving audiophile. Rap and EDM are suffering on the v60 because of this. Stock for stock with the audios sound the same, I just notice shortcomings when you're using the extremes like EQ apps and hi-fi. I have to use "Volume Booster GOODEV" on the v60 currently to get it to the same volume as my v20 can do but even that app is finicky on the v60 compared to the v20.

Loool, pro all the way! This is epic video! Any chance to get that rad background music somehow? :D Out of curiosity, have you tried Split keyboard mode in landscape with the second screen? (outward pinch from the center) While the default LG keyboard isn't for everyone, I find this small feature quite good for thumb typing.
Headphones are super personal. Over ear. On ear. In ear. Fit is the hardest thing to test out recommend, because everyone is different. For cans i tend to prefer the old school recording brands like Sennheiser, AKG, Sony, Audio Technica, Beyerdynamic. For earbuds, I like some of the smaller Boutique brands like 1More and MeeAudio. And for decent"budget" great check out KZ, CCA, and TRN.
I'm loving my V60 DS, I came from a V20 that was still in 100% mint condition.. was a hard move lol I miss the mini touch sensitive interactive notification screen of the V20 the most. I wish the V60 DS's outer case screen had more functionality.. And what they really should do, while keeping the simple monocrome display... They should make it larger, enough to fit a keypad to dial quick calls without opening the case. Just saying. 😏

I honestly haven't used it often, but swapping a few files to a flash drive now, my v60 SEEEMD ok.

It's a Wacom. Built for Windows, but LG is using that for their stylus tech.

I'm NOT well versed on stylus tech. The bamboo ink 2 was listed as compatible by LG so i played it safe.

Out of curiosity, have you tried Split keyboard mode in landscape with the second screen? (outward pinch from the center) While the default LG keyboard isn't for everyone, I find this small feature quite good for thumb typing.

Headphones are super personal. Over ear. On ear. In ear. Fit is the hardest thing to test out recommend, because everyone is different.
For cans i tend to prefer the old school recording brands like Sennheiser, AKG, Sony, Audio Technica, Beyerdynamic.
For earbuds, I like some of the smaller Boutique brands like 1More and MeeAudio.
And for decent"budget" great check out KZ, CCA, and TRN.

I'm loving my V60 DS, I came from a V20 that was still in 100% mint condition.. was a hard move lol
I miss the mini touch sensitive interactive notification screen of the V20 the most.
I wish the V60 DS's outer case screen had more functionality..
And what they really should do, while keeping the simple monocrome display...
They should make it larger, enough to fit a keypad to dial quick calls without opening the case.
