I like that getting the stylus and the phone and the dual screen is still cheaper than a new galaxy note
I don't understand how stupid LG Marketing is . This is a very good feature for lots of business users . they should have added this feature details in the Ads of LG V60
yea they have the wacom active pen on the website and they tried to tell me its not supported then admitted they just didnt have it
I buy tech for usability and productivity and I ignore the brand name and the marketing. This is the best handset I ever bought period.
They are awful at marketing. They have the best phone of 2020 but no one knows it!! Verizon barely mentions it on their website.
I have the S20 Ultra, iPhone XS Max, Note 10 plus. I just got my V60 and I am blown away. It has more "useful" features than any other phone I have or have had. It's a BEAST.

It's so nice to see a video like this that is complementing an LG feature for something in the settings menu. I own the LG G8X and it doesn't have these settings that support this pen. Come November I hope to pay off my phone and buy the LG V60 or wait to see what is coming in the Fall at that time. I so want the bigger 6.8 screen size. I also want to upgrade to 5G now to. I also want the Snapdragon 865 or higher SoC.

I did not think one flagship phone is so heads and shoulders above the rest in real world use.
No it does not have the best cameras or video in automode, or 120hz screen, or a 2-4X optical telephoto, or 1440P 0r 4K, and it is huge.
Yet even if it was the same cost as a loaded iphone 11 Pro Max, or Samsung Ultra S10, I actually believe I would enjoy this phone much more over the next year or two.

I bought this phone not knowing I was going to get all this in one phone. It has been jist excellent so far. Pen support was just icing on the cake. LG's entire marketing team needs to be fired.
Youre crazy LG has the BEST cameras by far and NO phone gas 120 hz. The iPhone 11 is trash compared to the LG V50. The iPhone 11 only tracks your finger 120 hz but operates on 60 hz. No phone Apple make is as good as LG phones. LG software is the best. My previous LG G6 was a stellar phone.
Still playing with my new V60 ThinQ (5G) and saw something about "pencil" and immediately went searching. I landed here and like what I see. I am coming from the Note phones and a Galaxy Note 10.1. I also have the very rare BT S Pen (HM5100) and a HM5100 prn thingy.
Lost in my house is a Apple Pencil so I guess you can tell that I like owning attached phone/tablet writing devices. Impressed with the usb version but not with some lacking features like battery notification, led light and/or short battery life as I've been reading. I ordered it knowing that it can be returned if unsatisfied.
So far this dual screen LG device is awesome especially the speakers. Thanks for this informational video.
Absolutely amazing device! I only recently learned, about a week ago, that V60 supports active stylus! To my pleasant surprise! I always wanted a Samsung Note for this, but never got one because of the fragility of Samsung devices. I've been an LG fan for a while. I still use LG G8 cuz of amazing design, quad hd screen and above all, quad DaC. V60 truly takes it home, and I cannot wait to get one, especially now that I know it has the stylus support. This active stylus support actually was the final point that sold the V60 to me, aside from the best quad DaC lg ever made, insane batrery life and fantastic camera, performance.

I am sure Apple and Samsung and others will have a dual screen version very soon, microsoft later this year.
Like many times before LG took a chance with a feature and stuck with it, I hope they keep refining it, and still keep the quad dac/amp, ultra wide and headphone jack, once that goes, I will look else where.
There weakness is auto software, computational photography, and os and software updates, however the carriers are part of that, they can not tell the carriers to not include them like apple and samsung can.

flaco 1957 I believe so. I think you can change the input method but it worked really well when I had it.

My opinion of the V60 is very positive. The choice of a single or duel screen, is very 😎. Plus a ji-gun-da 5ooomamp 🔋 with a 1080p display. I suspect 10hrs SOT which is excellent. 4mics for video recording, the 32bit DAC with the jack. Of course another under-rated phone. An 8oo.oo pricetag, not to shabby. This phone will compete with the top 🐕's?
Trust me this phone is very impressive.thought the hinge in the middle world distract me..no problem in wide mode. My only gripe right now since my 2 days off usage is the battery isn't laying as most have said..a day of use. Maybe it'll balance its self after learning my habits of use on the device. But over all this is a beast of a phone! Don't sleep on this one.

The V60 has LG 3D audio engine which is not DTS:X. Can you compare which is better?
I don't care for it. I keep it off because it seems to mute a lot of sounds you would otherwise hear with it off. With it on i noticed the vocals come in clearer though. Really nice phone anyway. I love it.
@@bygtyma05 Front and Wide mode, yes. But side to side mode is pretty great for EDM and chill music. You can really hear a lot more so I personally care for the 3D sound, I'm a hardcore audiophile.

Found it ! it's called ( OHSNAP ) going invest in this strap with this phone. now just need to see if i can integrate the Stylus on a case or a pouch..
I think even though the marketing is not the best for LG there is no way the will promote another companies stylus pen. They should make their own and pair it with the device. I would also add an upgraded screen case with a third screen option on the front besides the plain time display, then it would be a monster!
This phone is so versatile that it has something for everyone.
5:55 Tbh, this feature is why I was considering a Note 9. But given its recent Green Screen of Death issue, the V60 is probably the best "no BS" phone!
Also its like $800 according to T Mobile's website so it is also cheaper than a Note 9. + $50 with the Walcom pen in consideration.
Props to LG for making something so damn feature packed at a comparatively low price to the rest!

They should have put this stylus in the phone like the the stylo 4&5! But I certainly think the V60 is one of their best phones? My all time favorite LG was the V10!
Bye Bye Note 10 Plus because the curved screen is completely useless for writing (can't draw, write, or select things on the curved area of the screen), and the Samsung S-Pen is irritatingly now designed to be more of a presentation device than a practical sized pen. This V-60, with the Wacom pen aparently fix those problems nicely.
Would need a convenient way to store a pen 🤷🏾♂️. Don't wanna be carrying that pen around separately. I would lose that pen in no time

Note 10 Plus or V60? which would you recommend? They are essentially priced the same now.
As a previous note owner (5 and then 8), having a full sized pen with all "note" functionality, quad dac w/ audio jack (can use bluetooth if that is your thing. lol), MicroSD, and 2 huge OLED screens... definitely a no brainer. And as this phone is more for the people that love to tinker/ adjust than use "out of box"... there are tons of options to customize (I have had the V60 for about 3 weeks and barely 'scratched the surface' with photos and video). I am looking for this pen on Amazon but the choice seems to be between one that uses a lithium ion battery (not sure if included) and one that is USB charged. Neither seems to use a 4A battery. What is the model number?

I was watching your desktop modes video and saw the Nebo app and got very excited and by the way, the presence of this app on this app was shouting stylus support, and then I start looking for this video you mention and what a disappointment. How can you speak about stylus support and don't show the Nebo app. That would have been so more interesting that the crappy game. Thanks anyway for the video and if you could more on stylus use on smartphones that would be great.

Yes the Note 10 comes with the S Pen but taking comprehensive notes with it is a bit of a pain because its very thin.
No it doesn't. The s pen works differently than this; kind of a whole different system.

NO phone brand can challenge LG. It's a tug of war between Samsung and LG. Gayphone is out of the picture! 😆Motorola is coming up though. HTC has a new phone to hit stores also.

One thing I use frequently on my Note8 is the S-Pen's ability to preview longer portions of a notification in the notification shade without actually opening the notification. Will hovering with the pen do this on the V60?

Does the wacom case on the V60 work on other smartphones with USB Type-C 3.1? This accessory only makes sense with wacom technology and a stylus.
Wish android would get native stylus support so that we can get pressure sensitivity etc. and then the android tablet can fight the ipads again.
