I switched from windows to Linux mint/Ubuntu but my wireless and Bluetooth stopped working after updates. Moved to fedora 3 years ago and it has been smooth ever since.Fedora has the best hardware and network stack for any OS I've ever used
I settled down on Aurora, a custom image based on Fedora Kinoite. It bundles Nvidia drivers in its installation iso and does not require user setup as normal Fedora installation does.
Props for choosing the KDE spin. Wayland is definitely a bonus. I use Arch (btw) and it's the one distro that just works for me, always come back to it - but from all the other distros I've tried, if I were to use something else, it'd be Fedora KDE.
I am looking to swap my gaming laptop over to Nobara. From what I understand it's basically Fedora but tweaked to be a little easier for gaming specifically.
@@adrianolupino3662 Nobara is just fedora but tweaked for gaming, if you are ONLY gaming you can use it and be fine but for most people that do work, study and other taks on the computer its better to stick to normal Fedora.
windows nuked itself 2 years ago and i switched to linux. had to switch to windows last year for work/school and i accidentally disabled copilot after the big update and broke windows... switched to arch and never been so happy.
2 biggest issues for newcomners are: 1- Nvidia drivers is not a click and run. 2- Video codecs are not that simple to get running even with VLC installed. :( When Fedora learns the user friendly way like NOBARA does then and JUST THEN a lot ot newcomers are going to be able to get into the ship of FEDORA :)
I dunno, it just worked on mine, maybe I've done things I don't remember, but i think there's a tick to check propietary or external private software. MAybe that's why?
wayland is the successor for xorg and has more features and security. development has been so active. yeah there are some hiccups but nothing you cant look up online to fix.
For anyone new, try gnome. I think it's a fresh way to do things if you are coming from windows. Why do all the things you've been doing the sme and do not try something new? If don't work, you can, finally... decide to go back to KDE

best hardware and network stack for any OS including windows and MacOS?
I lost my all data on my one Linux machine.
Now I know the reason.
Combination of Cinnamon and Wayland.
Thanks.

I am on Fedora Workstation and i love it. Tried many other distros in the last couple of years but i always ended up on Fedora again.
Did you try ArchCraft ? Is like a Arch Linux all setup alredy. Ready to use.
May I request you a detail video on Fedora KDE spin?

Yeah, I tried it for a while. It's great. I just didn't need the tweaks, so that's why I went back to base Fedora.
Honestly, I always loved Fedora since many years ago but only now is that I switched to use it entirely.
I really need to see gaming on fedora
If you want Fedora but more gaming focus you should try Nobara
@@adrianolupino3662 i gonna try it thank you

or bazzite
@@adrianolupino3662 I'm using Nobara 40 right now with Nvidia ISO and it is working great :)

It is a common problem with distributions because they want to focus on FOSS and sometimes the best drivers and codecs are all proprietary. :-(
1. Blame Novideo.

Wayland? Jesus.....
wayland is the successor for xorg and has more features and security. development has been so active. yeah there are some hiccups but nothing you cant look up online to fix.
Wayland on KDE is great especially if you have Radeon. Not to mention the vastly improved security over X11.
gnome is not a desktop its a toaster menu app.

why not use i3?
