Fully equipped Meter area
The 5.0" TFT. full-colour LCD multi-information display makes it easy to see and intuitively handle a wealth of information. The bright, easy-to-read TFT panel allows the rider to concentrate on riding, while still being able to accurately recognise information from the screen.
Automatic turn signal canceller
Honda’s original system automatically cancels a turn signal upon completion of a right/left turn or lane change.
This system determines if the vehicle is turning, going straight, etc., based on information from vehicle speed sensors installed at front and rear wheels which detect wheel speed difference generated by different front and rear wheel paths during a turn. Then, the completion of the lane change or a right/left turn is communicated to the body control unit to automatically cancel the turn signal.
Emergency stop signal
The new mode features the emergency stop signal that quickly communicates sudden braking to the vehicles behind.
When the ABS modulator detects sudden braking during a ride, the turn signal relay flashes hazard lamps at a high speed to warn the vehicles behind.
*This system is meant to quickly communicate sudden braking to the vehicles behind. Please refrain from unnecessary sudden braking and ride safely.
Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCS)
Nowadays, a smartphone has become an information terminal personalized according to the user’s needs ranging from “convenience” to “fun to be connected with a wider circle of friends”. As it has spread over globally, immediacy and ease of receiving information have been upgraded repeatedly. People more and more need to access the information in the smartphone when they are on the move.
Considering the current situation and the future outlook, Honda has developed the HSVCS in-house so that the user can utilize information resources as is, in his/her smartphone optimized by him/herself.
After the purchase of the vehicle, an HSVCS-specific app needs to be downloaded to a smartphone (compatible with Android OS and BluetoothⓇ 4.2 or later). Once the smartphone is connected with the vehicle via Bluetooth, the rider follows the voice guidance coming from the headset capable of voice input and operates a 4-way switch* located on the left handlebar to use the following contents in his/her smartphone without letting go of the handle grip. Each piece of information is communicated to the rider by way of a voice from the headset and simple indications on the meter display.
[Functions available.]
・ Phone calls ・ Navigation (Turn-by-turn) ・ Music ・ Text messaging
Taking into account that the smartphone would be in use for long hours to access to contents such as the GPS navigation, a USB port is provided inside the luggage space. The HSVCS has made it possible to exchange information more seamlessly, contributing to convenience of the new model.
*The iOS-compatible version will be adapted gradually from October 2010 onwards. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
I'm not a lazy, I'm just a poor guy checking a dream bike
Cool stuff. Very useful. I recently test rode it. A nice machine I have to mention it. :)
Great!
Thanks 👍
I just bought one today, so this was very interesting, thank you.
Thanks a lot 👍
Thank you , realy helped...!!! I love that bike !!!
Thank you !
Excellent information and very thorough. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment 👍👍👍
I remember when you did the same for the NC750X 😌
It was the first video I watched from you. With the other video you certainly made me buy this bike !
Now my NC is broken after a crash and my new toy is Moto Guzzi V85 Travel 🥰
Hello, sorry to hear about your NC, enjoy your new bike. Thanks a lot for your comment 🙏
nice tutorial, thanks !
Thanks for the comment, glad you liked it
Thank you for this video! Regards from Berlin. 🙂
Thanks for the comment, glad that helps 👍
merci beaucoup tres bien expliquer .tanks a lot
You're welcome
I had to answer a knock at the door, so I missed the part on how to adjust the seat firmness and the radar to scan for thunder storms.
great video but still havent found any showing how the sreen navi works when you connect the phone ?
This will be a separate video, the app was not available in my country, need to download it from the browser
Nice video. I see the ABS On and Off Road not changing when you switch ABS on and off. Why is that?
Only in the User Mode you can deactivate the ABS and Traction Control. ABS has 3 stages : 2, 1 (off-road) and OFF completely.
Also when you restart the bike or switch between the riding modes, the ABS setting turn ON automatically by default again
When the RoadSync app is active on the dashboard, how do you switch to the info track at the bottom.. let's say if you wanna cycle throught the 4 info tracks?
The Roadsync App it's displaying at the bottom the streets and directions, therefore it will cover the whole infos front the info track
You can disable that popup option, also while using only music, not navigation
Thank you very much for the video.
Very helpful and useful
Question: I have a one year old Transalp.
A short while ago, the display device started showing fuel consumption data that didn't make any sense at all....
I contacted the Honda dealership, they are no help
what can we do?
I will ask my mechanic from Honda and I'll get back to you with a proper answer.
You can get temperature indicator if you connect your phone to the bike and instead of navigation, you choose weather to show up on the dash. Of course it's not going to be measured temperature, by the bike's sensors, but it's better than nothing.
The app it's not available in my country
@@IdealBike Change your email settings and app to UK
Nice!
Thanks 👍
Still mo information about the Hinda navigation dystem and how to set a route. There are no bideos showing how to do this, probably as it's such poor software. I've only managed ince to set a route but can't repeat it.
Salut,poti conecta si telefonul,pentru muzica,apeluri,navigatie !
Teoretic aplicatia nu functioneaza la noi, practic poti descarca si instala fisierul de pe net si merge, inca nu am incercat personal.
Hi, Just a question. I also own this motorcycle and I have the option 'Trip A autoreset enabled' so whenever I fuel up it should autoreset my trip A data, but after refuelling 3x now it just doesnt do it. I usually refill every 300km so its plenty empty that it should realise I have refuelled, but it doesnt work. I have tried to disable - enable the function and make sure its 'on' but it doesnt help. Have u tried this function?
Hello, Thanks for sharing. It's possible that the autoreset function to work only for the main info, the one with the total amount of Km. But I will enable it myself and let you know 🆗
Autoreset should be after you restart your bike after a while, not after refuelling
Just bought one... still not with me....one question....in the bottom info is there any option for the liters consumed since refueling? In the NC750x that info is very useful. Thanks
Yes there is, you need to select it from the main menu
Hello, good morning Crack. I congratulate you on the channel. Good videos. To go up gears with the quickshifter you do not have to release the gas, but to go down gears do you have to release it? Do you know the reason for setting the quickshifter to hard mode? And at what rpm is it advisable to use it, 4000, 5000, 6000...?
Thanks for the comment. The answer to the first question is YES, for up-shifting works better after 2800 rpm and even furthermore at 5000 - 7000 rpms. For down-shift works better from 4000 - 3500 downward. HARD setting means that you need to push HARDER the quickshifter lever to switch between gears which in theory makes the QS more resistant. If you choose SOFT you may press to hard especially if you ride with boots.
@@IdealBike
Thank you for the answer.
What I wanted to find out was the minimum rpm to use the QS. Knowing that it is 2800 rpm, but above all that the ideal is to do it in the range 5000-7000 rpm to up and 4000-3500 to down, clarifies all my doubts. And of course I'll set it to hard mode.
And as for gasoline... 95 or 98 octane?
@agustinbarbosa3198 95 it's recommended, but Honda usually works with 85 with no issues. One of my friend accidentally loaded with diesel and worked until he realised the mistake 😂 video on my channel.
@@IdealBike Thanks for the information. Good luck in life and with your channel. GAS!!!
@agustinbarbosa3198 thanks so much
can you get navigation to show on screen ?
Not really, only some dashboard cameras check it out in the video description
Hi, which functionalities are available with mobile phone paired ? Navigation? I know it's not Android Auto or Apple car play . But what functionalities does the phone pairing allow? Thank you.
Haven't tried yet, I'll do it soon
@@IdealBike thank you. hoping for video
Have just installed the original heater grips on my xl750. But i am not able to enable them.. Any idea why?
Most likely you'll need to go to the dealer for a connector that will allow you to enable it. Check out my video with quickshifter install Tutorial. They will not charge you for it.
@@IdealBike I just watched that right after and realized this. Already waiting for a reply from my local dealer. Hoping i can just buy that connector.
You sound like jose mourinho..
the fuel indicator is correct?
So far yes, I've measured also at the petrol station the refill.
No air temprature indicator ?
Not really, he mentioned in the video
There is no sensor on the bike for air temperature , but you can use the Honda App and connect it to the dashboard where you'll have the weather forecast.
FYI.. Ive seen the out side Temp displayed top Right on other videos...
This could be from the Honda APP and it's from the app not from the bike's sensor. The Honda APP for connectivity with the dashboard it is not available in some countries including my country. Also what you saw in the top right in this video it is the engine temperature
If you are on Android, and you make a Google account in a country that has the app, you will be able to install any apps from that country@@IdealBike I'm not sure if the same is true for Apple's App store.
Am instalat si functioneaza, lasa nr tau sa vb !
bummer it didnt have the parameter to determine how further can the motorcycle can travel with its remaining fuel 🤦♂
No Good we are in Miles and Gallons in U.K. same as U.S.A.
