I just installed the kit in Australia and can confirm the brake wire is the same blue and black colouring as shown on your Canadian model. The kit is working perfectly, and only took about 2 hours for a total amateur to install. Thanks for making a great product at a very reasonable price Jackson 👍
Well if there is clarity about the wire colors for EU (a manual for EU) I will be ordering your new set in the fall. Thanks for the video, it convinced me to potentially shop with you guys 👍
Asking for Help, I have just installed my C/C but unit does not power on. I have "0" light. No yellow, no red, no nothing. I have everything plugged up correctly and DIA cable is plugged into the DIA. cable next to the fuse block. Brake light wire is connected (BLK/BLU strip). But the unit shows "0" lights. Anyone Else have this issue???
Same problem here. I can't find a problem with my installation. The riding mode on the instrument panel flashes continuously, no lights at all on the unit. I'm going to have to get a hold of tech support.
No, the (original) 12V socket uses an extra, unused connection behind the display. Remove the display, remove the protective plug and connect the 12V socket. 5 minutes of work. Very easy. You can see the connector @17:50
Can't you just tap into whatever needs to be tapped, and then route all those wires into a part of the bike where you don't have to remove as many panels as possible? So the setup you just demonstrated, you only need to do once in the bike's lifetime, and then whatever new product you may have, or replacements can be done in a more convenient area.
I get what you are saying but you really want to keep the throttle grip sensor wires as short as possible. They are highly susceptible to noise. Ideally you shouldn't need back into the work area if it everything works!
@@VeridianCruiseyou should make a female to male extension for the brake signal wire. To prevent tapping into the wire (i work at a delearship gonna salvage the connectors and make it so i dont tap into stock wiring)

I would like to install a 12v socket. Does this cruise control module interfere with that?

How much did it cost you ?
About 300€

This is this 'easy install' everyone talks about? 🙂
Sorry you can blame Honda for all the plastic.
