Amazing video Caleb! So useful for many TH-camrs! 👊😎
Bonus tip. If you own the original M50 which don't have clean HDMI and want to live stream you can press the info-button until the screen is clean from any information. Now only the auto focus box is shown. To get rid of it, switch to manual settings and refocus. Done! 😀

For the $13 device, if one pulls up the "Configure Video" Properties dialog in OBS there are adjustments for Brightness, contrast Hue and Saturation controls that allow me to fine tune the video without having to make adjustments in camera. I've been using it for almost a year now with no regrets.

  • @ZhurbaV

For the 15$ capture card you just should change the Video Range to Full and you'll get the same picture as you have from CamLink. Unfortunately the OBS sets Partial Video Range by default for this card. But fortunately you can change it manually if you press the small gear.

The Canon M50 and the M50 Mark II are absolutely IDENTICAL. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS A FIRMWARE UPDATE. Canon could easily update the regular M50, but chose not to. I suspect Canon wants consumers to consume, and 'force' them to buy the Mark II and make more money (as usual).

Best channel I've ever found here on youtube about this topic, thank you so much! I would like to ask you to make a video about the table setup for those who need to show the table during the video, this changes the setup a bit because the camera needs a mini tripod and is below the monitor, and the camera lens needs to be perfect to be able to get the table and the person, the size of the table also here at home I got it with 80cm and 90cm deep tables... That's it, just an idea because I'm looking for a kit of this type to show the table and the person. myself doing tarot readings for example. Good morning and keep up your wonderful work.

Hi there, I like everything you're doing and have learned a lot so far from you. I'm in the process of starting a TH-cam training channel and I don't have a huge budget but reasonable enough.
I'm not good in electrics but with good guidance and my wife on my side we can get things done. Now, for a new simple TH-cam channel, what type of camera or electronic equipment should I buyer. I'm using your link to buy the table, microphone gear etc...but I need a short list of the items needed to get my channel running. Also, I'll be having Zoom meeting, on screen recording etc., so the equipment should be able to handle both/all.

Otherwise great video, but having worked as an audio engineer professionally for a decade, I would avoid buying Behringer gear, or other similarly super low priced stuff. I have had about 2/3 of all of the couple dozen Behringer products I've had, or my workplace has had break within a couple of years, the few products that still work, have scratchy pots or loose connectors... It is cheap for a reason, the components are crap. If you want to save money, in the long run, invest a little more.

Hi Caleb. It’s my first comment here. Hope you read it.
    1. I own a Canon M50 and EF-M 22 f/2. Great budget combo. When I use it with EOS Webcam Utility, I get 720p resolution. So if anybody gets the camera might use 720p resolution.
    2. FetHead is a great tool, but quite expensive. There is an alternative that works great, especially for cheap microphones, it’s called Klark Teknik CT1. I own it and it’s great.

That Behringer Xm8500 carried me for years! It so solid for the price. Especially for 16 year old minimum wage me who needed multiple mics, it's just such a good value. Also Klark has a fethead alternative for $30 for a more reasonable setup.
