- Yes, waited and finally picked one up, the new Microtech Glykon out-the-front auto! Tons of goodness here and definitely worthy of the designation, "Grail," for this knife nut! New for Microtech is the fact that they used all Torx screws on this model! No proprietary wrenches needed!
So, If you like 'em big and strong, while being richly appointed, this may be your grail as well! Check it out!

Cool MT OTF …If I was into them I probably go for that one! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I love all of the Microtech OTF’s, the torture tests say it all but the Glykon is just incredible, absolutely beautiful!!!!
Totally agree! 👍🗡️👊
Excellent video - thank you.
Glad you liked it! 🗡️👊🗡️
I just ordered the same one today 🙃 only because there is 5 Friday's this month lol
Nice knife! My 2 grails are the Deadlock and a Halo.
You've got some pretty nice grails there!!! Had the Halo years ago but must have sold it off... LoL 🗡️🔥🗡️
Great video! The cross hair is awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
Definitely have to get one. It's moved to the top of my list
You'll definitely enjoy it! 👍🗡️🔥
Saw this video awhile back and fell in love with this knife but thought “no way”. Came across the full stonewash/non serrated today and was tempted but said no. Then I walked into a raise at work, which is clearly a sign. I had no choice, who am I to question the knife fates? Should be here in the next two days!
Excellent dude! 👊🗡️👊 Congrats!
I just got a Glykon with the apocalyptic finish. I don’t know if they just started making them or not but there are zero videos on TH-cam. People only have the stonewash version. Excited to get it in.
The apocalyptic finish is a harder one to find but I've seen them. Would have gotten that instead of the stonewash had a been available at the time
I found it on eknifes website I think there is more! :)
I got the regular blade in the red frame and I LOVE IT. $60 for an otf that feels super solid, works every time and just, to say it again, FEELS great! Great Edge retention on the blade!
Glykon?
Do you mean 600? You won't get a glykon for 60.. Can't get a microtech for 60
True, mine came in around 550 🤔
@@bradleyyounger8499i bought a really good Glykon clone for $70 Canadian that works every time and built solid
I got the same one its a knock off for $60 and while lacks polish, is actually amazing how well its made
Got one of these last year,my issues are the plain handle design that sucks if your palm is sweaty and the firing switch rattle when the blade is closed.
Hope you sent it back!
Hey what do you think of the Livewire from Kershaw? It's the first real OTF that I've purchased. By "real" I mean not a 30 dollar gas station OTF... I absolutely love the knife. I think this Glykon is going to be my next one.
I've heard great things about the livewire! Since I have several Hogues in that category, I haven't picked that one up yet. I see that White Mountain has it in stock. Congrats on your purchase! 👍🗡️👊
How is the blade play
About the same as Combat Troodon, Hera, Ultratech, etc. moderate
