This recipe looked like something I could actually manage to make, and it could be portioned out and tucked the freezer so I could have the extra later. I have made it up through the garlic coating (no olives or cheese), and it is delicious! Thank you for sharing. Danke!

When i've seen fresh basil i had this idea to add small pieces of dried tomates into the dough when it is mixed and at end it turned out really good. Amazing food. Thank you for inspiration.

Да, весы 40-ых годов. Где откопали?! И пресс для чеснока тоже старый, родом из СССР. У меня такой есть, сто лет в обед, пользуюсь с удовольствием. Готовлю такую лепёшку, только в разрезы ещё сыр добавляю, сулугуни. Очень вкусно, рекомендую.

My thoughts exactly. If you want a slightly crisp crust, brush the pan with olive oil and omit the parchment paper. Place the pan on the lower rack of the oven and bake as suggested in the video.
If you don't have fresh yeast, and only have active dry yeast, multiply the amount of fresh yeast the recipe calls for (in grams) by 0.4. In this case, 20 grams fresh yeast x 0.4 = 8g active dry yeast. Leaving this comment as a future note to myself, but it may also help others!
I would not use that much yeast, max 1g fresh yeast per 1kg flour. Otherwise you can taste the yeast in the dough. 1g fresh yeast, 1kg flour, 650g water and let it rest for at least 24 hours.
@@michlblacksmith I've done 2g yeast in 500g flour, and it was still very good with no noticeable off-taste. Off the top of my head I'm not sure how much flour this recipe called for, but knowing that 8g yeast is quite a bit... I'll keep your tip in mind!

this looked SO good from the very start!… when u started drizzling the olive oil mixture over the fresh dough, I was like here we go!… and then later the mozzarella, I was like HELL YEAH!… and THEN, when u pulled out the piece from the CENTER of the bread, I lost it!…loved watching this video!

Got my attention...one of the nicest bread recipes on TH-cam...I made a slight change and used our homemade Pesto (seeing that it already has Basil and Garlic in it) with the addition of Parsley etc.
It is the standard recipe for yeast dough. The toppings are absolutely optional. And now we are back to pizza. And the recipe is completely missing what kind of flour is used, which is important for the dough.

Amiga, el TH-camr sólo elaboró una Focaccia, es un pan plano que se come desde la época romana al cual le untaban aceite y algunos frutos secos o especias. Es más Focaccia se puede decir, es la versión antigua de la pizza.. Ahora en cuanto al sabor son bastante similares y la única diferencia que le da el toque bonito es que el youtuber le hizo los cuadritos con el rodillo de pizza pero no deja de ser una receta sencilla nada del otro mundo mi mejor que la pizza.

A bread maker that makes flat breads? All that I have seen, just makes a loaf of bread. Or will you just use it to make the dough and not to bake the bread itself?
@@lottatroublemaker6130 I have a bread maker that has a dough only option and you shape it how you want and bake in regular oven. It mixes and kneads it for you. It's great. Does that make sense, not sure if I've explained it well.
@@TheChalkiej - Sure it makes sense, you confirmed what I said in my last sentence… Personally I would just’ve made the dough in the mixer then, I wouldn’t buy a bread maker and pull it out to have it mix the dough for me. 🤗

In my region we call these garlic fingers (minus the olives) - sooooo tasty! I actually crave them more than pizza. We serve them with donair sauce as well :)

На 250 гр.воды и 5 го достаточно...у нас норма на 1литр 10 го дрожжи и все чудесно поднимается..

My wife would love it. I would substitute the mozzarella with parm. Add small bits of anchovy and onions and sprinkle with fresh ground black pepper. I love onion , garlicky, olive , parm , basil , anchovy, salty black pepper flavors
A mix of mozzarella and parm sounds like a better idea, I think. You could also add some cheese(s) like Brie, Camembert, Blue cheese etc… 🤗
I believe that after you use mozarella and black olives, its closer to pizza than to bread
Yeah, once the cheese got added, my only thought was "This is just pizza". Looks good regardless, just call it what it is lol
@@HipposaurusRex The entire time I'm thinking... Ok so it's just focaccia. If they used less cheese maybe I would still call it that but the end product was pretty much an alternate sauce pizza sliced in an interesting way.

Amiga, el TH-camr sólo elaboró una Focaccia, es un pan plano que se come desde la época romana al cual le untaban aceite y algunos frutos secos o especias. Es más Focaccia se puede decir, es la versión antigua de la pizza.. Ahora en cuanto al sabor son bastante similares y la única diferencia que le da el toque bonito es que el youtuber le hizo los cuadritos con el rodillo de pizza pero no deja de ser una receta sencilla nada del otro mundo mi mejor que la pizza.

La levadura que usó es la de cubo, pero podés usar la deshidratada. Generalmente es un sobre de 10 gramos por cada kilo de harina.

A bread maker that makes flat breads? All that I have seen, just makes a loaf of bread. Or will you just use it to make the dough and not to bake the bread itself?
@@lottatroublemaker6130 I have a bread maker that has a dough only option and you shape it how you want and bake in regular oven. It mixes and kneads it for you. It's great. Does that make sense, not sure if I've explained it well.
@@TheChalkiej - Sure it makes sense, you confirmed what I said in my last sentence… Personally I would just’ve made the dough in the mixer then, I wouldn’t buy a bread maker and pull it out to have it mix the dough for me. 🤗

I would imagine if you found a basic pizza dough recipe using dry yeast you could follow along starting with the rest period right before the rolling pin bit

In my region we call these garlic fingers (minus the olives) - sooooo tasty! I actually crave them more than pizza. We serve them with donair sauce as well :)
