Superb perfomrance! Chopin created the most excquisite and sublime poetry on the piano. And Ms. Khatia Buniatishvili plays with such depth of emotion. Bravo!

Oh, beautiful Khatia. I fell for her some years ago when I stumbled upon her on TH-cam playing Rach 2 ❤❤❤ She is the best. Apart from her incredible technical skills, she always shows so much emotion, passion and feeling. She is very intelligent, intellectually as well as musically. Plus of course, she is just a drop-dead gorgeous woman and has such a great aura and stage presence. I love her so much and I'm glad I was lucky enough to have seen her live twice already.

@@babseliasar Well said 😂 I forgot to mention that she also speaks five languages fluently (I'm German which is a very difficult language to learn and she speaks it very well) and that she is the sweetest, nicest person, totally down to earth and not at all smug or anything. She's literally perfect, how can anybody not love her?

One reason to enjoy this is just the beauty of Chopin. I watched it again to see Khatia’s facial expressions as she interacted with the conductor and the music. Loved her unguarded expression at the last when horn player missed his intonation.

A 10 000 kilometres de notre ville, Annecy, nous nous sommes régalés avec ce magnifique concert de piano exécuté par Khatia Buniatishvili dans l´église où notre fille Solveig Marie Eileen Caroline a été baptisée. Emerveillés par la pureté de cette interprétation. Kathia Buniatshwili est vraiment une virtuose. Superbe direction de Jean-Claude Casadesus.

Khatia plays beautifully and with great feeling, although my favourite interpretation of this concert is still Andre Watts for his dynamics and flawless articulation.
Ah, great.... I just found this vid of her playing - it says it's a near as 4 months ago -as of Dec. '23. ...I've been following her for some time now and I love her drama, passion and interpretations of all the music she plays...and that 'flopping of that hair' !!! She's incomparable , love her to pieces !!!
That means it was posted to TH-cam 'around August 2023,' and now 2024-02-11 it is saying 6 mos (but in another 8 days it'll probably flip to 7mos), but that says nothing of the actual date of the concerto. If you'll look at the information attached, you will see the concerto was part of a festival on 2013-08-20 and was posted here nearly ten years later on 2023-07-19.
You fancy her in other words. If you watch her playing Griegs piano concerto in A minor then you will fall in love, I did 😂

She knows from memory a lot of musical pieces. It's impressive! Does someone know if she plays exactly what the score says or if she did a personal interpretation with little changes? It's amazing her capacity, in any case, she has photographic memory.

Oui, merveilleux concerto, tant pour le compositeur que pour l'interprète fabuleuse et le dirigeant sublime! Un tout petit bémol toutefois (si j'ose dire), c'est que Khatia a tendance à vouloir montrer sa virtuosité à certains passages, dépassant même allègrement l'orchestre qui a comme du mal à suivre!

Elle joue extrêmement bien cest clair mais elle devient bizarre avec ces artifices, le dos ouvert jusqu'en bas, la petite mèche nonchalante qui tombe sans le faire exprès....raide comme la justice....bon....elle a beaucoup changé depuis ses debuts !!
