Academy Award-winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale star in FORD v FERRARI, based on the remarkable true story of the visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and the fearless British-born driver Ken Miles (Bale), who together battled corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on the dominating race cars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.

Shelby stopped running. He knew that Ken was gone and all that mattered at that moment was his son.
Nah because earlier the same thing happened at the airport the exact same thing and Ken survived
@@shxfty_c0nt3st3d5here’s a fun fact on the real story no knew what is the cause of the accident only Ken does and the movie is not telling how he actually died not to mention his son saw it.
“Based on a True Story” can have their own cinema twists into them has facts but not all of it
He died doing what he loved while most of us will die doing the same shit we hate so we can survive everyday.
vote for biden, with any luck, we can struggle doing what we hate for another 4 years.
@@CryoftheProphetGet a fucking passport, American.
What would you like to do my dear and beloved son?
Well the 60’s and today are two different times
@@CryoftheProphet yeah, there was no struggling in 2017, or 2018, or 2007. Open your eyes, vote for somebody that wants to change things atleast, not saying that’s Biden, but he helped the unions atleast.
If you’re consider yourself purchasing the Ford GT or Mustang black horse remember this: There's a point at 7,000 RPM... where everything fades. The machine becomes weightless. Just disappears. And all that's left is a body moving through space and time. 7,000 RPM. That's where you meet it. You feel it coming. It creeps up on you, close in your ear. Asks you a question. The only question that matters. Who are you?
After that scene, I went and hugged my sons and got scared of my Mustang for a week.
Good time to try out that Chevy Chevelle
the saddest thing was that was the last time peter ever saw his dads face
The way Shelby stopped running and looked back at Peter was it for me. He knew there was no chance that Ken could have survived that. It’s gut wrenching.
@@Masons4Liberty That hit harder than a train.
Two academy award winners together great
1:53 Jupe and Damon see the explosion.
This movie is an absolute beauty, I will always remember this scene in the cinema. Josh Lucas really made himself hated a lot.
I actually almost cry watching this last scene
Peter just saw his own dad die. Peters heart just went (SHATTER). Shelby saw Ken die aswell, And the part where shelby stops running he knew that ken was gone. The only person that mattered was peter. The hat and wrench was the only thing for memory of peters dad.
great movie matt damon and christian bale are the best actors
Loved their acting😍
True cinema can really steal ur heart away. And to think this can happen to any car
hell no 😭 you shouldn’t need to be scared with your daily drivers . Yes if your a dumbass and can’t drive then it could happen to you . But if you’re slightly obeying laws , it’s like riding a bike . It’s way different than a car with almost zero safety features, not mentioning the fact it’s had 485hp to the rear wheels . Basically we have it easy , even when we’re not racing
the only way this can realistically happen to you is if your into racing and you don’t practice or you just wing it . Though if you did that i’d bet most people would break too late and lock up their wheels in turn one 😂
Sometimes they don't get out of the car😢
In his actual real life death he was literally ejected out of the car…
@@mj_smanot in the way you think. They said he was injected meaning the car in real life explosed badly to a point all the pieces got ejected qith Miles along without. He didnt died cuz he got ejected and fell to his death you know lol
Loved the movie ❤❤
My dads first time seeing this movie and seeing the death he started crying for mabye 2 minutes
I can relate pal. Everything about this scene, kens face those last 2 seconds , my God this might be the best movie in the last 10 years
@@seanbannon7939 yea its a top 5 movie for me in the last 10 years
Loved the movie❤❤, watched it twice
Every time I watch this movie I cry 😢😢
Great movie
I never even thought of watching this film until I saw it showing on netflix and my God Im glad I did. It was superb.
10x more emotional than whatever gmod ragdoll we got in the Ferrari movie
First time watching this I saw the crash and knew, that’s it he’s done for
How though? Didn't they just build this and checked everything before he drove it ?
@@seanbannon7939It was a test drive, the car was straight out of the factory and experimental. Which means there will be problems. What happened here was probably brake fade, and he couldn’t stop and tragically ended up passing away.
And Ken Miles is the type of man to push the machine to it’s limits and beyond. Judging by how he went 7000 rpm and the brakes wouldn’t work, I’d say that’s exactly what happened.
@@seanbannon7939he was testing a car that he doesn’t know of plus nobody knew what caused it only Ken does
@@cadrejefftechnically his death is still a mystery in reality
And the real history even Ken gotten a more brutal death than we see in the movie
True they are best

Sad moment
This was actually really sad to watch
😢
Interesting fact..had he been wearing a safety harness or even a seat belt he may not have died that day... he actually got ejected from the vehicle
So this scene is still very upsetting but its not actually how the crash happened? Someone told me on the straight away it just suddenly broke into pieces
@@seanbannon7939"Ken Miles was killed while testing out a new Ford vehicle (the J-car) at California's Riverside International Raceway. Miles' Ford test car suddenly flipped, crashed, and caught fire. The exact cause of the fault has never been fully determined to this day, but it caused Miles to be ejected from the vehicle, killing him instantly."
@@zebduffey5698 yes that's the accurate explanation I've been wanting to know , .as a movie lover I'm inquisitive know as much as I can especially since this really happened to him. I wonder if going around a turn was the cause of the flip
He did not get ejected. He was going 7000+ RPM so he couldn’t get ejected.
@@HayabusaFan-r3y ummmm.... what??
So sad!!!
2:00 A child of God.
💔💔
What pisses me off is the fact that the brakes, which Ken said to fix many times was the reason he died. They just never bothered to fix them
So this car wasn't recently built? I thought it was hense the test drive on this track
This scene was not enough for me I really didn't know if he died or not but 6 months later in the film I saw Caroll Shelby look visibly upset and that's when I knew that Miles was no longer with them but seriously Miles deserved more like a funeral scene or something that's just disrespectful to him. Overall I was hooked from begin to end such a gem I found on Netflix this film deserves more recognition.
I don’t think he would have wanted a funeral scene. It’s the perfect way to honor him.
A funeral scene would have weighed down the movie, and would come off as incredibly disrespectful. I think the shot of Ken's hat and wrench does way more emotionally than a funeral scene ever could
Why was he pushing it like that when he has a child
did he say be back in 5 minutes?
He was going to get the milk
Was that a prototype gt40
It was gt J. Later known as gt40 mark4
What happened? Did the brakes fail?
Yes
Looked more like the accelerator stuck cos rpms kept rising
no he was going downhill@@Usuk6565
I really wish Ken didn't push so fast by just taking this car for a spin, I know he wanted to feel it's speed but did he have to go 180 mph for just a 5 min test drive. Incredibly sad.
Man those guys running😂
Not funny
What happened to the car?
The brakes failed and he lost control of the car, an occurrence that was foreshadowed a few times during the movie
@@NekoHibaCosplay aw that actually sucks
In the movie they show the brakes failing but in real life the car suddenly flipped out of control (aerodynamically unstable) and crashed which led to Ken being killed instantly
Some people just can't keep a car on the road.
His brakes failed dumbass.
he couldve shifted down and made the car slow down with the engine
On 7k+ rpm when you driving over 200kmh xD? The outcome would be even more fatal.
In reality crash was diffrent, car flipped suddenly, it exploded and ejected ken killing him instantly
@@motorsportFnaticshow exactly did the car flip suddenly?
Couldn’t he have just pressed the clutch in?
Nope. The breaks failed
Slows down faster without clutch (engine braking). Needed to keep downshifting even if he blew something. Anything to save his life. Maybe he did & it still wasn't enough or there was no time. Maybe rolled over as soon as he hit the sand. Maybe tried to spin the car & made things worse. Maybe thought wrecking wouldn't be as bad but caught fire. Who knows. 😢
@@DarkKnight0609I know this is a dumb question but why? Why did they fail I thought they just built this car
@@seanbannon7939 In real life he was going 200 mph and the car suddenly flipped and exploded killing him instantly after being ejected from the test car. In the movie the breaks broke. In the 60’s faulty breaks were much more common. The emergency break didn’t exist back then and neither did putting things in park or whatever.
@@DarkKnight0609 so they didn't make it look as terrifying and devastating as it was. We see the crash in the distance, I wholeheartedly wish he wasn't going that fast. There was absolutely no need to be going 300mph , are you sure it was at that speed ?
Stole that line from Fast and Furious
