Well seems original part modified, considered better then Chinese made low end parts, sometime these are not even available as we still have BEDFORD trucks on our roads. But a zercks fitting would be nice as with out grease this won't last and even cause noise. I think he would have oiled it from upper part and greased it with boot on.
A cheap replacement knuckle from China is under 10 bucks! The legal ramifications when this repair fails is enough to make anyone cringe! I must say though your craftsmanship is outstanding. But keep in mind this is a part just waiting to fail.
Has no business on American roads, but I guess in the low speed melee traffic of India, it’s okay. Amazing how much labor that guy puts into a part that costs too much at $20-$30. I hope this country doesn’t devolve into that kind of necessity in my lifetime.
Pretty sure this is Pakistan they try to fix everything like broken in half crankshaft,diff gear that doesn’t meant to be fix and I understand that they ain’t got much money to buy a new parts.
Да надеюсь ему в попу вставят этот рулевой наконечник пальцем вперёд а резьбу нагреют до бела что бы не вытощил. Зараза резьба прослаблена гайка не должна болтаться, палец вставляется с сухарями или втулочками в корпус и под пружину ставится пятак и как вы подметили нет смазки
Что за дикость и неуважение к "кормильцу", стучать кувалдой по станку. А про наконечник вообще лучше молчать, смазки нет, с таким перегревом и пружину можно "отпустить". БРЕД.

Drill a hole, insert grease zerk of your choice…then grease it.
A grease fitting should have been installed before welding the cap.
