I woke up this morning with the plan of buying a Harley. I randomly went on the Ducati website and saw this bike and fell in love. Found this video as its one of the only 2023 videos. Thanks man, found my bike. It’s just one of the most gorgeous bikes I’ve ever seen.
That is a beautiful bike. I’m 29 and had a dirt bike when I was in high school. It’s been a while. Just competed the MSF course a few weeks ago and will take a refresher. This will be my first bike. Thanks for your review Marine!
I really like the new nebula blue paint and the new liscense plate position. They really just took the old nightshift and fixed all of its tiny flaws, and im all for it!
I purchased the same Ducati last month, the dealer gave it to me with the big turning signals, per required by US laws according to them. I had them replace them back with the original European smaller and redesign that came originally from factory. It looks way better. 👍
Excellent review, I’m 49 years old considering this motorcycle as a first bike. I completed the MSF course a while back, will take a refresher course. Thank you for the review.
Been looking for the right bike for quite some time. Saw this one about 2 weeks ago and absolutely had love at first sight lol. Thanks for giving a solid review and info on it.
Beautiful motorcycle, I love the Ducati Scrambler, it seems fun to ride in the city, it is very comfortable, I love the Triumph and the new 400 came out, Fantic is also coming in hard, the good thing is that competition is coming out, but for me this is excellent, no I know how the cost of Ducati is now if it is still very expensive
Great review, very detailed! As owner of this nightshift, I would confirm that it’s an amazing bike, top notch design and details, beautiful sound, great components and modern electronics. Just a great bike. Expensive, yes, but Ducati bikes are hand-crafted one by one, and fully made in Italy (Borgo Panigale). You get what you pay for. On the driving side, a big difference with the Icon I also tried, is the steering: on the Icon it offers a more comfortable position, but a less sportive attitude (when you seriously open the gas you feel you are not in the ideal setting for that power, it’s a more city setting). The nightshift steering is the opposite, sportive attitude but less comfort in the city which at times (low gears and breakings) coupled with a very flat seat which doesn’t put you “in the bike” but almost “over it”, charges a lot the front end. The full throttle steering mounted on the nightshift may be the top of both worlds (this has been suggested by a Ducati store) and looking at pictures it should be nice looking too. Other differences with the Icon are mostly aesthetics with no impact on driving, but they are just beautiful
I had my eyes set on the Honda Rebel for a whiiiile after doing research into what type of bikes I would like. This bike got me looking at scramblers somewhat differently, would you say it’s a good beginner friendly bike?
I’m still sort of new to bikes and i’m thinking about getting this but i’m still unsure about how the seat looks in certain angles. Is there anyway to swap it out with seat similar to the icons and if so do u think it would ruin the look of the bike?
Doesn't it come with the smaller, subtle led blinkers/indicators in the US? My Nightshift has them standard (in Europe). Great bike, quick shifter as an option works great!
Heya Rembo . My comment is off topic i know but still i want to ask you a question about your Ducati V4 PP . I m in the market for the PP and i m doing my research . Reading the forums of Ducati owners i noticed some people complaining about a strange wobbling in high speeds . Have you observed something like this on your bike ? . Thank you very much in advance . Best regards from Athens Greece .
So far with over 10,000 miles (16,100km) and riding at speeds of 140-160mph (210-260kmh) multiple times, I have not experienced any problems. Maybe those guys were in a crosswind.
@@RemboUSMC Hello Rembo and thank you very much for your answer . You know the first thing that got me suspicious was that guy s V4S that you filmed when you went to pick up your V4S .He had a steering damper installed .Then i started searching. It seems that this problem persists since 2015 multis .There s also videos on you tube . You are one of the lucky ones (touch wood) .Now for me knowing my luck the risk was just to great so i opted for the big GS. I am subscriber to your channel and i enjoy very much your impartial reviews.Keep up the good work . Cheers !!!
@@Skyrider1300R Not a problem. The bike with the steering damper was put there for looks by a guy that tricks out every bike he owns with stuff he may never need.
Rembo does the straight drag bar pull you into a crotch rocket forward position with lots of weight on your wrists or more neutral upright body? position?
I ask because it doesn't have the features. Italy is a bigger shithole than Japan by far. The ducati is assembled in Thailand. Pretty sure the ducati can't match the road manners and performance. So I guess it's down to looks. For a 3k price difference....and it's air-cooled. I'll take the Japanese made suzuki every day
In warm weather countries like the Philippines, the old model Ducati Scramblers are notorious for ridiculously excessive engine heat to the thighs (even the Ducati dealer admits this). Does this new model Scrambler solve that problem?
Sound? Mmmmh, your personal taste is not in discussion here, but the desmo sound is what Ducati is maybe most known for…Triumph has several engine configurations, while Ducati bikes come all in the same 2 cylindres desmodronic engine (only some with 2 valves per cylindre and air cooled, some with 4 valves per cylindre and liquid cooled), but all with the same unique and immediately recognizable sound.
You don’t seem to be well informed. Ducati sound is so famous that there is a patent recorded about it. You may not like and as said, personal taste is not in discussion. But Italy is a Country of bikers, and we all know when a Ducati is in the surroundings
Is this Next Gen the best Ducati Scrambler yet?

You cannot go wrong. I am not a scrambler guy, but this one is just nice.
Same here as a ex MC member i was ready to get another harley but this bike got me
An excellent choice.
Bought one for my wife. Had Termignoni exhaust put on 2 grand....awesome bike! I have a Diavel V4 had a Diavel 1260S.

I was quite impressed.
You'd think there was enough unsprung weight with the wire wheels without adding to it.needlessly.
Had mine for about 3 weeks. Love it

For free or did you have to pay for them?
I like your style of commentary. OORAH!
Thanks!

How about the reliability of this bikes? Are they good? Everlasting engines?

Yes
What kind of deal is there for a new one!
Thank you Rembo! As always, great video! As much as I would like to, just can't kiss all the girls! Beautiful bike!
Thanks again!

I’m sure that there are seat manufacturers who make an alternative. I am not aware of any OEM seats to swap out.
I could tell right away this was Ft. Lauderdale/Sunrise lol

No, it comes with the very ugly US DOT approved ones so it can be legal here.

Got quickshifter too
It's not too demanding for it to, at least, look cool given the price tag. Nice looking bike but it's about it.
Where are you working out of?
I am 6-4. Would it look small on me?
How fast it can go
it looks the money

Definitely more neutral

This vs gsx-8s. Disregard the price. Who wins on bike performance and feel only

What kind of deal is there for a new one out the door, 6.5% tax rate?

Unlike many other bikes from Ducati, I did not experience a seat heat problem and I am in very hot and humid south Florida.
Good info. However, yet another bike vid where we can't see the guy on it.
I'm 6'1 would this bike look small on me?
Not necessarily unless you are morbidly obese. Then a harley looks small.
That bike is so impressive, but unfortunately, it's not within my financial means 😢
No quickshifter as standard?
WTF… but it‘s calles nighSHIFT 😂
The Full Throttle has one 😂
LOl true.
It got spoked rims though
I had the Italia Independent when it came out, the girl I was with at the time made me get rid of it. I wish I would've gotten rid of her instead
Amen
Understandable
Of the scramblers I like the Triumph 1200s.
Nobody is talking about the sound. I guess none of them as good or close to a Truimph

in india its 18000$ 🥲
Wow!! $$$$
the horizontal header pipe routing is stupid and ugly AF!!! what was wrong with going under the engine like they did for the last 100 years!
Let’s talk about the required, every 7500 mile $1300 Desmo maintenance for Ducati’s.
You are living in the past.
So overpriced. Nearly twice the price of a Vitpilen 401. Overpriced compared to SV650.
It’s got a very cool look. Should be a good step up for inexperienced riders, but a tad pricey. Still, you get a Ducati. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
Definitely!
Rembo!!!???? and you dont look like any Marine!
I know. What happened to me?
8003 cc 😂😂😂😂
