I am in thet situation at age of 59 This guy's whom promotes intermittent fasting and keto are amazing. I've lost 31 kg in 7 months. Blod shugars down from 43 to34 ,blood pressure from 160/10 to 116/69 and so on.
@@burberryclaretred6676 I found out it actually happens 80% through breathing it out, 20% through urine and sweating. You need to teach your body to burn it by cutting out carbs and eating fat.

Thank you Dr. I have embarked on intermittent fasting now for two weeks. I went on 48 hours fasting two days ago. Lost 5kg in two weeks. Cut down carb, sugar and alcohol. I feel better , energetic, knee problem gone.
There are 3 things I implement for optimal metabolic health. They are a ketogenic diet, daily intermittent fasting, and high intensity sprinting 3-4 times per week. I’m 52, feel like I’m in great shape and have phenomenal health.

I’m been going to gym for years, never lost weight, been on fasting for 2 weeeks now, lost 3kg , using 18/6, soon to go 20/4 and the best part is I’m feeling great, mental clarity increased, more energy, good sleep and tons more.. imagine it’s only 2 weeks.. I’m going to enjoy this journey more now… thanks to both doctors !!!!

It's so good to hear that a doctor talks of empowering patients by educating them on how they come about their situations and how they can get out of it. My experiences with doctors are the opposite. I go to most doctors and they just dispense prescription after asking patient's complaints.
I’ve been listening to this all morning in repeat as I go from errand to errand. Dang this conversation is so in my alignment and I’m impressed. I sure could benefit from this type of characters on my active life today as either a circle of friends and or doctor care who can help me where I am weak. Dang this is dang good information 👏👏👏
I agree with this Doctor but I also do calorie reduction as well, because if I eat to much with fasting, I don't get great results in feeling better but when I do calorie reduction that really help in all ways

If you are already off of addictive foods you will never be hungry when you fast for one, two or three days or even longer, however if you try and fast when you are eating addictive foods you still won’t be hungry but you certainly will be going through withdrawal addiction from food and that is very difficult to overcome. You must first stop eating addictive foods and then soon after you will be able to fast without going thru withdrawal symptoms. I never get hungry when I am doing my three day fast.
Keto/carnivore and fasting have helped immensely with many autoimmune issues, so I don’t see why lupus would be helped. Check out Dr. Ken Berry on TH-cam to see if he has anything on lupus. You could also do a general search on TH-cam. Lupus and fasting or lupus and keto.

Fasting praying meditation plenty of water work out and sleep. Whole foods plant based high fiber nutritionally dence diet blended whole juice salad stews nuts seeds and grain lots of greens. Off HBP HBS and cholesterol meds food can fix it. Meds don't cure nothing

I do intermittent fasting. Lost 20lbs so far, my chronic illnesses are reversing, I feel great and look better. It's all true.
