Obese and skinny people both have excess of sugar to keep cancer cell multiply.
So where did sugar came from in skinny people? When our mind take stress, our body rapidly convert protein in our muscle for sugar, ready to fight our way out of life and death situation.
Who is the beneficiary? Our cancer cell.

There is another big factor and that is thought/emotion. When a cell loses its program, it does not know what it is supposed to be and when it replicates it just becomes a shapeless meaningless mass that we call a tumor. Negative emotions such as fear and worry seem to play a big part in this, as they put us out of sync with harmony. Our reactions to the tribulations of life are very important in this respect. The Universe does not recognize a negative, and for sure what you intensely fear is likely to come your way because you are focusing on it! Love and appreciate your body. Every cell has consciousness. so give thanks every day for the work they do on our behalf.

I totally agreed with Dr. Jason Fung. Majority are from foods. I lived grew and thrived from a tiny island. I am currently encouraging our community to continue the life foods style to maintain a healthier life’s from our elders via social media in our language. An oldest woman have lived up to 106 as I can recalled. For those who moved to a western foods life style, non of them outlived their parents. Today, it’s very common for many people to have diabetes, high blood pressures, including different types of cancers. I am blessed that I am now 62 years old without any conventional maintenance. I’ve been asked many times what foods I am eating. Simple answers; the foods they don’t like to eat. Like, jungle foods and herbs. My advantage was I took serious personal researched, studies, learning and act on it. Mainly from Asian countries and tribal lives. Yes, I agree that insulin resistance can be the number one concerns with respect to health issues. Even fruits and vegetables are an alarming concern as to what nutrients are being absorbed. Great presentation.

This guy is so spot on! I work with a company founded by a biochemist (Avini Health) who has taught us all this stuff too and he created a detox product that also takes out "toxic cells" and toxins that feed the cancer. I've seen miracles in a very short time! Food is such a contributing factor! But there are still times when heavy metals and toxins stay stuck and our organs are overworked to get it out by themselves, so there are resources to pull the excess out! I am so excited to see how the body's mechanisms all fit together to heal us. It blows my mind, we DO regenerate!!! I've known this for years, but it just literally hit me in this interview!

Alcohol especially consumed daily seems to be the one thing rarely brought up as a big factor contributing to metabolic diseases. It is only metabolized in the liver. Over one’s lifetime, it can eventually cause irreparable damage. It is not food for nutrition sake. I recently learned, it is in the top category for carcinogens and yet it is rarely discussed.

A professor once told me cancer is caused by multiple instances of genetic damage in a cell's DNA. Usually your immune system destoys these damaged cells via apoptosis. But if your immune system is compromised in any way, some of these cells slip through and proliferate. So maybe we need to investigate all the factors including diet, stress, toxins etc. that suppress the immune system and affect gene expression. Does sugar suppress the immune system?

So the question to ask is can we handle stress and eat a healthy and balanced diet?
The answer is how well do we know
    1. how habits (bad or good) are learned throughout life and how to break them?
    2. how motivations are formed and how to maintain them?
    3. how emotions are made and how to regulate them?
    4. how memories are formed and their relationships with learning?
    5. what is desire and how to contain / dissolve it?
    6. how personality is formed and can we change it?
    and some other questions?
The nearest knowledge to answering these questions can be found in subjects like psychology, behaviorial neuroscience or behaviorial biology.

And they eat late at night, therefore their bodies never enter into a state of autophagy. Your body needs autophagy to rid itself of corrupt or unneeded cells. A book called The China Study was the largest incidence of cancer study ever done. What was discovered was that diet contributes to different cancers. People who lived in very rural farmland eat mostly plants (vegetables, rice). People who live near the ocean eat more fish and have a higher incidence of some cancers, the same with more wealthy areas that ate from a more 'rich' diet that included more meat and dairy had a higher incidence of certain cancers. So many of the cancers are said to be the bullet that loads the gun where the gun is considered the genetic factors you are born with. So if you eliminate all meat and all dairy and eat vegetables and fruits (beans, nuts, seeds are your starches and proteins)... I was very sick. I had IBS every day and when I stopped eating meat and dairy, I stopped getting the symptoms of IBS! I was able to stop wearing adult diapers, go to school and start a new career.

How soon after changing your diet did you start feeling better/IBS symptoms stop?

The China Study has largely been debunked and contains cherry picked data to support the authors hypothesis. Eskimos eat nothing but animal foods and meat and do not suffer from modern disease. Also the Hadza tribe eats off of the land, mostly wild caught game with a few plants here and there, and they also have zero incidence of modern disease.

The problem with the vast majority of the 'vitamin studies'...is that they were testing single vitamins in isolation...and often using inadequate dosages and/or types, e.g. alpha tocopherol instead of full-spectrum Vit. E etc. It is well established that many nutrients are interdependent and synergistic. Where studies *have* used multi-nutrient formulas they have found profound anti-aging, anti-pathogenic (especially for neurodegenerative disorders)...and...anti-cancer effects. One prime example is the work of Pro. Emeritus, Dr. C. D. Rollo et al's research over the past decade and a half at McMaster U., Hamilton, Ontario. The fact that Dr. Fung seems wholly unaware of such research is not surprising, i.e. he, like many another researcher with their pet interests (in this case, fasting...which, of course, is right on the money) are simply unable to acknowledge / discern / learn about the (successful) pet interests of others. You see this all the time in science...and especially in issues relating to health.

If you wanna know what causes cancer start with what a person's diet consist of and if you could track it back from table to farm I bet you would find the source of carcinogens..then look at environment.. its not that hard to see when you open ur eyes..but yeah follow the food chain..the chemical companies dont want you to figure this out

There are also cancers that come out of nowhere. I have Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and my oncologist told me it's just dumb luck that you got it. We don't know yet what causes, he said. I did change my diet and I feel amazing, but i still have this cancer. This is a broad stroke type of thing they're talking about here and I do agree with him, but again, there are cancers that we just can't figure out yet. What do you say about these poor kids born with leukemia and such, right? Take care of your liver because he's your friend! Also, cut out alcohol or limit it.

Everyone has cancerous cells at all times, but insulin resistance and high insulin narrow your arteries and destroy your immune system. Children today are being born with t2 diabetes because it's so bad. The children are unhealthy because they were brought to term in an unhealthy mother.

What you put inside your body feeds or kills cancer cells. The only correlation you could draw would be exercise helps decrease obesity but even then weight = 85% food + 15% exercise so exercise is still small contributor in obesity.

@ 2:45 when he talks about vitamins (vitamin c being the most important one here) and how they "didn't work" he mentions how they were tested individually on certain groups, he doesn't specify who these people were ie age/ height/ weight/ sex/ ethnicity or individual nutritional needs. In order for vitamins and minerals to work properly they need to be taken together (enzymes /coenzymes) also not mentioned here are the doses they were given, again in order for vitamins and minerals to work properly they need to be taken in far greater volumes than the "recommended dayly allowance".
