There's been a lot of speculation about Ubisoft since the mediocre launch of Outlaws. Today I want to go into the bigger problem with the company and their games as a whole.
What was the last good game Ubisoft developed themselves? I'd say it's Black Flag. Edit for Grammar: IT'S A COLLECTIVE NOUN IN BRITISH ENGLISH - YES I KNOW A CANADIAN SPEAKING BRITISH ENGLISH IS CONFUSING. LOOK WHAT THEY'VE DONE TO ME?!
Thing is we the older generation grew up with the gaming industry in its infancy and saw it all the good and bad, hence we can easily see and understand when things aren't good. But the younger generation don't, they are naive and blinded by bling, for them games like AC Valhalla are "good" "innovative" and "mind-blowing"... I think we may win the battle but lose the war mate...
@@dubnubgtd8538they just make bad games full stop. DEI has so little to do with their own failures that have been ongoing since before that big industry push. You’re just making excuses for them by saying that and disregarding the real core issues of the company. Primarily the CEO
only star wars game i ever played was bounty hunters.... and it was pretty cool..... but it's very hard to replace that void offline games have during end-game.... ironically enough on that same note a game like wow isn't even perfect, but the same previous story continues and you port your old character over.... there's just something about that.... there's also just something about that cycle eventually ending and the culmination of each expansion to that inevitable downfall when the actual saga just .... ends......
Anyone who actually buys into a game made by Ubisoft these days is an idiot. I'm sorry, but it's true. You know it will be broken, bug riddled and shallow and the only focus of it is to take your money, but you buy it anyways because one game was OK, not good, OK, 15 years ago.
Sorry I can't British English demands I treat collective nouns as plurals. Sorry Americans. Though I need to use chat GPT apparently now to remind myself how to speak American in my titles after 25 years on this island....
@stephenpughz ubisofts stock prices dropping like 10 percent immediately upon the games release is a pretty good number to go by. It's okay if you like the garbage game bro, no one's gonna take it away from you. But the numbers don't lie.
Honestly their last game that I really got into probably was Black Flag. That also made Skull and Bones particularly disappointing.

When was rainbow six siege released? That was its flagship title for years... until they bent the knee to DEI identity politics.
@dubnubgtd8538 man siege was so good it almost gave me hope for Ubisoft
How naiive I was
Outlaws is actually a good game just needs more time in oven to be polished, ubisoft just keeps releasing game too early like AC unity

I mean to be fair Ubisoft is the flagship of mediocrity in the modern era of gaming

I'm enjoying outlaws. And the silent majority are!
But the numbers say otherwise champ.
@@jackw9385 Which numbers are you believing baby?

Watch my follow up video. Ubisoft's own investors have just come out and said the game hasn't sold well. Facts are facts.
@@oldmanbanjo So if you have the ubi sub they don't count them as players because they didn't buy it?
They’ve mostly made garbage games. Good riddance!
