By going into Belgarod, Zelensky has put his forces on the rear flank of the Russian offensive in the Donesk region. He could funnel more troops through that corridor and take the Russian forces from behind in a pincer move. Brilliant actually. The old Hammer and Anvil trick.
Putin already has Chechen troops behind the Russian lines in the Donesk region to keep Russian troops from fleeing. If Ukraine attacks the Chechen troops from the rear then the Chechen troops also risk being overrun by fleeing Russian troops.
At the very least, by moving south east toward the rear of the Russian offensive, Ukrainian artillery could target supply lines and cause the wide Russian offensive line to narrow a bit. But as our colleague just mentioned here. . . “Don’t underestimate the distances”
Serious question here y’all. Do you think Russia would still have invaded Ukraine if it had kept all of those nuclear weapons from the fall of the Soviet Union?
The ICBMs would have been stripped and the nuclear material sold. Ukraine was incredible corrupt after the fall of the Soviet Union and a ton of Soviet weapons got sold to arms dealers by corrupt military leaders. Plus ICBMs aren’t of use against invaders.
Ironically enough, that point is moot on BOTH sides of that argument. Their nuclear arsenal is HORRIBLY under or un-maintained. There was a 1990s inspection that found that the materials for the upkeep for ICBMs was WOEFULLY under what was considered the bare minimum for acceptable. Like rocket fuel and basic upkeep of their missiles and their housing silos. So everything is basically falling apart in that area. And that was in the 1990s. Aka, 30 years ago. @@RololoTheOneAndOnly Let's check back in once Putin's National Wealth Fund runs out of hard currency and gold in Q1/Q2 2025 and he can't plug budget deficits anymore. He'll have two options: 1. Borrow from China (unlikely as Chinese banks are already cutting Russia off due to sanctions and China is facing their own impending economic debt crisis) or 2. Print money and hope hyperinflation isn't too bad. And that's not even getting into their dwindling Soviet equipment stockpiles being exhausted before the end of next year. Reportedly Uralvagonzavod can only manufacture 4 to 5 T-90M's _per month._ Also the damage to Russia's oil/gas infrastructure every day by Ukrainian drones, which is wholly unsustainable economically. Putin's only shot is Trump winning and cutting off aid to Ukraine. So when he loses the election, I think we'll start to see a real change in Putin's approach and he'll start seriously talking about a retreat and peace plan.
The Highway that connects Rostov-on-Don to the Ukrainian Border has a couple of Rail and Roadway Bridges from the Taganrog Peninsula to the mainland. These would be very obstructive were they interdicted just before the Rasputitza season.
There is no Belgorod invasion, what are you even talking about? There are some border confrontations for sure but you're making some pretty big logical jumps to assume that it's a full scale invasion with some territorial gains. There is just no evidence of that at all. The state of emergency was proclaimed in Bryansk oblast too, should we assume the third ukrainian invasion there as well?
Comedian is the channel presenter. Also all of you here listening and believing him, making absolutely stupid comments. Zelensky is probably now packing his shit and planning to run. Russia surrounded UA attacking forces and by now has terminated over 12,000 troops of Ukraine in Kursk region. If in the beginning of this war one could argue and speculate on who will win it, now it is clear and no other outcomes are possible - Russia is winning this war, whether you like it or not.
@@Gen4505 Well honestly speaking i trust none in this. Going by simple logical explanations, Ukraine has the shorter straw in this war due various reasons but whet-ever that makes them lose for certain only time can tell. I would assume that Ukraine may regain some of its territory and aim for peace or they back out of this war too late and losing more ground.
Within a few days of Ukraine's first invasion the Russian commenters were saying these were dead men walking and Russia had already begun the process of taking the Kursk region back, yeah, those comments aged well.
Mind elaborate? I find the reporting here overoptimistic (I want Russia defeated) but is there anything to counter this guy's claims beyond snarky phrases?
Kremlin: “Russia has the Ukrainian invasion under control.” Ok? So why is Ukraine still rooted in the region months later making even more elaborate defenses?
First of all, months? The invasion started on August 6th, it's only been a bit over a month. And second of all, Russia has recently launched counterattacks in Kursk that have regained over 100 square kilometres of land back.
@@CCCPRusRus First of all, a bit over a month is considered months as a lapse in the second month has begun. Secondly, Ukraine is still in Kursk and has inflicted an extremely high kill to loss ratio to Russian troops in their failed attempt to take the region back. Ukraine has successfully defended Kursk and they had only lost those little bits of land because they actually value the lives of their troops and pull back out of a battle that they are not equipped enough for.
@@levibarns7576 I woudn't define that as months, but okay. Also, most of Ukraine's initial gains were when there were little troops at the border, so high kill to loss ratio may not entirely be true.

I think you are doing a diservice to your audience by making them believe something that is not entirely true. The maps are also trying to portray more land captured in Kursk than the reality. The video also comes at a time when Russian counter offensive has started and pushed Ukraine significantly back, while Ukraine is still trying to go for a second assault at Glushkovo (also in Kursk). As for Belgogrod, i dont think Ukraine would attempt that as Russia has already established a buffer in Karkhiv. Dont fool people into thinking that Kursk is aimed to slow Russian advances in Donbass, as that has failed. Russian pace increased more than 2X after the Kursk attack and now They are at striking distance of Pokrovsk. If the goal was to divert troops from Donbass it failed because Russia had a lot of spare reserves which were used in Kursk instead of diverting forces from Donbass. Lengthning the front is only useful for countries with spare resources to engage at that, Ukraine has no reserves that can be used elsewhere. When Kursk happened, Ukraine pulled troops from Donbass to Kursk, and now they are pulling troops from Kursk to Donbass. They also diverted troops from Donbass to Karkhiv when the incursion happened. So in this situation Expanding the line means Russian defence will thin out, but you didnt mention Ukraine will also have a much thinner force allong the whole frontline. As for attrition, it is not wise to use estimates from a warring party and if you are doing so, i would advice to share statistics for both sides. Sure Russia lost 620k soldiers, Can you tell the numbers for Ukraine? In reality the casualities are much lower and even under 300k for both Ukraine and Russia combined where Ukraine has suffered slightly more than Russia. The longer the war wages on, the situation will continue to get worse for Ukraine as they are getting short on manpower, they have started grabbing people off from streets to fight, which will not do them good, compared to that Kursk incursion resulted in significant number of people volunteering for the war. So it may not end well, if the war drags on. The point is, you need to be realistic and not fill people head with unrealistic expectations. The same happened in Armenia-Azerbaijan war, where people were making these type of videos about Armenia winning when in Reality Azerbaijan was winning. The day Armenia negotiated people were surprised. They were wondering why did Armenia surrender when they were winning. So it is better to show reality instead of delusions. Thanks.
I'm thinking the invasion into Russia is a 2 for 1 on getting Ukrainian territory back. Yes they could negotiate with that territory. Also if you can pull enough manpower off of the front lines they might be able to retake some of the lost territory. As a bonus it is very embarrassing to Putin.
So you say Ukraine is losing its territory and getting bombed 24/7 for 2 years straight but somehow zelensky will win by invading some farms. The truth is Russia is advancing in Donetsk thanks to sheer numbers and ukraine army has run out soldiers and is depedent in foreignt aid. Very fragile for ukraine, infastructure destroyed, not enough soldiers, population emigrated. Stretching its forces is the worst idea ever and will lead to even quicker collapse
If russian continue to attack were they are, it will be a lost, they have to defend the country before Ukraine goes to deep in the country, basically they have to move over thousands of troops in a month but it will get harder since winter is coming up
@@alexjackyperson101 You don't care about Ukraine, you just care about Russia losing and that makes your assessment false. Ths is a war of attrition. Pretty sure Trump has uttered those exact words to his base during one of his rallies.
If Ukraine attacks the Chechen troops from the rear then the Chechen troops also risk being overrun by fleeing Russian troops.
not yet... don't underestimate the distances

So imagine how bad a shape their rockets must be NOW.
@@VoiceOfTheEmperor In 1991 Russia signed 2 treaties with the other ex soviet states for shared weapons control, and disarmament.

Castle shown in this video is from town Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, located in the south of Ukraine, next to the black sea.
Thanks.
Didn’t Russia just recapture half of the Kursk region?

I'm thinking the invasion into Russia is a 2 for 1 on getting Ukrainian territory back. Yes they could negotiate with that territory. Also if you can pull enough manpower off of the front lines they might be able to retake some of the lost territory.
As a bonus it is very embarrassing to Putin.
Look up any pro ukraine map, it looks very different
Reports of Ukrainian troops moving in Glushkovo district of Kursk region too!
And if you believe Russia will lose I remind you that thruo out history attrition is Russia's main waepon. Western allies keep sending arms in Ukr as an investement, because they believe Ukr will eventually win the war. But if they figure that they losing money on it they will detatch and Ukr will be forever lost. IMO this was Zelensky's final bet to convince the US and Eu that the investment stands. But it doesn't. Putin is determined to turn Ukr into european Iraq. A lost cause. Us understands that and they won't risk escalation ( China)
