Best thing I've found for arthritis is eliminate all the inflammatory stuff from the diet (sugar, flour, certain oils, processed foods - pretty much switched to carnivore for 60 days then omnivore after that), drink bone broth, collagen peptides in my coffee. I once could barely walk in the morning when I got out of bed, knew in my joints the weather was changing well in advance, now I have no arthritic pain, can hike and bike with ease. Feels like I rolled back the clock 30+ years. It's awesome to be able to move freely and have no pain. 😊

Ditto. Quit sugar, cheap flours. Got saliva pH up to neutral where it belongs. When pH was low -fresh lemon juice cut with water popped pH up for me, (no metabolic disease here). No need to leech calcium out of my bones to neutralize uric acid! Drs act like they don’t understand what causes osteoarthritis? Uric acid can turn into painful shards. Once I saw a picture of my arthritis from an operation the ‘depositing’ was obvious.

I had severe 24 hours non- stop knee pain 5 years ago.
I started taking 2 heaped table sp. of milled organic chia seed & 2 table sp. of milled organic flax seeds DAILY for 2 weeks. Flax seeds have to be lightly toasted.
My Knee pain disappeared after 3 weeks.
As a maintenance dose I just take one table sp. of the above Daily. I do not have any pain. I walk miles with ease.
Food is medicine if used appropriately. No need to pop pills everything.
I hope this will help somebody.

It took a couple of weeks when I felt like the effects was getting better and better. After month I feel that it was the best thing I did with taking them all together. It decreased Pain, improved function and decreased stiffness. I’m very pleased with the reduced symptoms. Sometimes I feel like I don’t have arthritis. I use all three of these. The turmeric is in the whole foods form. I grate it fine and heat with black pepper and ginger freshly grated. Add chicken broth and gelatin. Usually red pepper and garlic is in there. A savory tea. The only place i have trouble is in my spine where I fractured 5 vertebrae and compressed the discs between. I take Arnica Montana when I have to stand over the sink or stove for extended periods of time. Maybe once a week. I am 63. My work involves almost total sitting. Not good for the body.

Then you have a mild case. I smoke it, and grow it, it distracts my focus from the pain. Every night 3 hours into sleep I wake up screaming in pain, try to reposition my legs and knees, sometimes I get lucky and go back to sleep for a short time. My ex-doctor told me to take ibuprofen "It's safe and you can take all you want, almost like candy". Looked it up and she was lying, it is not meant to take daily or nightly, it can cause all kinds of problems. Then she wanted me to take a covid shot. My bad thought doctors were there to help you.

One of the things that Dr. Peng doesn't mention about curcumin is it's poor bioavailablity. If you're going to take a curcumin product you should take one which has relatively high bioavailablitiy. Three different formulations of curcumin have this higher bioavailability: Longvida curcumin, Meriva curcumin, and Curowhite curcumin.

I take and give my elderly cats, glucosamine + Chondroitin . I take 1000mg and 1200mg with MSM 300mg. I give my cats a quarter of my capsule each. I looked up a feline supplement and noted 250 mg + 300mg + 300mg. Works out about 1/4 of a capsule. I mix it in a tube type treat you buy at the supermarket. Cats are more active and now climb up onto the couch and bed. I take 2 capsules a day but could make it twice a day. I’m going to add turmeric to my regimen.

Glucosamine/Chondroitin seems to work for me but it has to be religiously taken on a daily basis. It took about two months for a difference to be seen. My knee movement has improved and little to no aches now. Rest and proper exercise is also a must. Nothing will magically make AU go away but if can be made an acceptable condition to live with I'll go that route.

I tried Curcumin and found initially it was good, but I have a underlying allergy to it and started breaking out in rashes...Not nice.
