Been watching Act Man for a couple years now and I saw your reactions to his vids not too long ago, so when I saw you in his vid I was like "POG CUTE VTUBER GOT NOTICED"
Not really into Vtubers, but I feel this is the one that gets me. I have watched close to all the videos by this point from the channel.

There's 3 tiers of reactions to me:
1 - Content thieves. Hasan, SSSniperWolf, xQc, people who just sit there or leave their PC and don't really provide anything of value.
2 - Casual watchers. People who watch stuff during breaks, or laugh at stuff, but often pause or at least discuss the content. This is the majority I think.
3 - Experts. LegalEagle, Dr. Mike, Corridor Crew, top of the line in their field or personally related to a situation giving their own insight.
2 and 3 are acceptable, and usually decent-to-great content. 1 should be avoided and actively discouraged if not outright shamed.

Saw you in act man’s video and wanted to see your stuff, awesome reaction, also wanted to see your reaction to you being in the video
They don't wait 4 days to react to get more money or hype, they do it to give the video time to authentically get pushed in the algorithm.
There have been many times where a reaction video has become more popular than the original video making the original creator upset that they spent so much time on a video only for it to be overwritten by someone who didn't even make it and is the 1st video recommended and has more views.
This is why he waits, he lets it cement it's ground and naturally be picked up by the algorithm so that he can react safely knowing he's not going to steal essentially the video someone else worked hard on.

Yeah i was waiting for this one to see if you were gonna take the 4 day rule. As another person i watch every now and then also did who reacted to it as well. I'm glad to hear he showed up in chat and goofed around having some fun and it was all cool.
Though most of all i was hoping it would help give some insight to continue to improve your stuff so you can be a better you tomorrow and looks like it.
Generally i tend to watch the video myself, then wait for reacts. If reacts go up and i haven't watched the video but it's on my to do list, the react gets pushed further down the ladder.

8 months too late, but i actually discovered Alana(and stuck around) through looking up vtubers that reacted to Max0r.
there's just something interesting to me on how the other people react to his vids, and, since most of my recommendations are vtubers anyway, i get vtubers.
TH-camrs reacting seems to be becoming slightly less problematic in part to TH-cam's algorithm changing. I saw Actman's video and now a couple weeks later I got recommended this video, very cute fox girl with fluffy ears.

I still thin TH-cam should make some system that embraces reactions. Like somehow having a nested video where the original get's views and ad revenue etc. Of course this doesn't really help in cases like reuploading from Twitch, or reacting to tiktoks etc.
But, it could be a start.
I think TH-cam Recommended a couple of your videos from a few weeks back after i watch that video, and well i'm here now. I dig the Arctic Fox look, its beautiful and soft on the eyes. (snowflakes are a nice touch) Your model even makes the most "anime" faces every so often.
But yeah, Reaction channels when done well are grate for everyone involved. 1. Free Advertisement. 2. "easy" content (still need to put in effort, but easy by comparison) 3. They are Entertaining. Wraith2501 for example is a grate reaction channel, he even watches the video you are also watching and REACTS to it.
And yeah, giving the Video about a week or 2 to naturally grow and get out their, THEN reacting to it should (in theory) get more views for everyone.

Gotta say. I typically dont like vtubers, but i think its because most of them act fake with personalities and voices and such. But your vids keep getting reconmended to me for some reason and ive been watching a few cuz i like act man and other stuff youve watched.

The argument about "more views"...
This is sort of a wrong way of looking at it.
The views you get from your original content, that's your actual, genuine audience. It's kind of hard to explain - like when you open a burger joint, and you get X amount of people, but then you start adding little toys to the burgers, and you get two or three times X. Then, when you release a burger set _without_ those toys, you immediately fall back down to X.
This means that all those additional people don't actually give a crap about your burgers, they just want the little toy.
This is probably why SSSniperB..... doesn't link the original source. People don't actually care about _her,_ they just see an interesting video, and see her channel as a hub for TikTok videos, within a larger hub that is TH-cam. But if she provided links to the original, some of these people would just migrate to the original.
My point is, any additional views you get from this sort of content is an artificially inflated audience, and gives you no information about how well your channel is actually doing.
Which is fine and dandy (well, not really, but...) when you just want to make a quick buck short-term, but if you plan on doing this long-time, I think that with time, your audience is going to bleed off - in my burger/toy analogy, you are basically relying on the toy producer to create toys which are in demand, but as soon as that ends, or if someone shows up who offers those same toys AND better burgers, people will inevitably migrate over there... You are sort of becoming a parasite, leeching off of others, but you are also dependent on _their_ well-being to feed you, so ideally you still want that symbiotic relationship.
I don't know, it's just a small rant that came to my head when thinking about this.

I subbed to Act Man because of Asmongold. This was actually the first Act Man video I watched on his channel instead of through an Asmongold video
