We made it! Our time to refresh our west coast antique mall spaces with great stock we've sourced cross country. We want all new stock to take east to Spring shows, so we're leaving most of what we brought behind for our antique and vintage retail customers!
Seattle, Washington's Epic Antique is our first stop, where we've completely made over our gallery space with an easy 'new look' trick anyone who decorates at home or sells at shows or malls can use! One piece transforms the space, and from there we create pods of fun MCM decor and wall pieces, art deco design and fun advertising pieces! (Oh, and we also get to see my most valuable piece in current inventory.)
Then past the Space Needle (surprise! it's orange for its 60th anniversary) we go to Snohomish, where life changes lead my space partner and I to recast our space as a clearance center for her vintage fashion and family pieces, and for me to make way for another two storage lockers of resale items! After a badly needed restocking and re-merchandising, we boldly agree to make this our biggest sale ever here, an inflation-fighting 40% off! We pack the space with a lot of good things, and illustrate price drops that should bring resellers and collectors a chance to share in the fun of it all.

George, your booth is wonderful and just floored at your variety and work ethic to always be at shows and events and shopping and doing the turnarounds,it really is something that you move across the country, so enjoyable on so many levels adding to your knowledge,I see many things I love in your booths and others I just have interest in learning about as you always have such a variety and that is wonderful...3 things I am just going to pray are there or ability for you to get similar when more flush. Love this store and the tour and your variety of knowledge, from what is it, to what is current, to display ideas and to helping us all wherever we are in this love for old and older things. Thank you very much.

I was just in Seattle two weeks ago and found an excellent Goodwill in Ballard. I spent hours there, found some awesome deals and had a blast! Had I known that you had a booth in the area, I would have definitely made a visit. And I agree with Karens comment below - your ability to stage so well reflects a trained and experienced eye. Thanks for sharing your gifts!
There are good Goodwills in the Northwest! I remind myself that every time I hit a bad one elsewhere

Me too! This is a great excuse to visit a buddy of mine who now lives in Seattle. I asked him if he had heard of Epic Antiques. He had not, but told me about a different antiques haunt he & his partner frequent. Can't remember the name of it now, though.

Good evening, George! I like that opium pipe! I used to have one but sold it years ago. Those Kindell figures are fantastic! Believe it or not, I can actually get into that kind of figurines. What was the box on the next-to-the-bottom shelf, on the round shelves? It caught my attention. There was a castor set there that caught my eye. I like those sets. You have a lot of really nice items there, and the sale makes me wish I was in the area! Thanks for letting us see all of it!!!!!

Thanks for the tour of your booth at Star Center. I had booths there in the 1990s as well as at their location on the OR coast. I hate to think how much time it took for you to make tags for all those pieces! The booth looks wonderful! Best of luck on your sale.

@@TheAntiqueNomad I really enjoyed having booths at Star Center and Seaside. It was a mini-vacation to go to Seaside from Seattle to restock about once a month. Those malls were better run back then than any of the other malls in the area (I think I tried them all LOL). The malls and shows more or less died in the Seattle area in the early 2000s. I'm glad to hear that they've been revived, because a good mall really is a pleasure for shoppers and dealers both.

Poodle is cute! Great question, honestly I've had the barware in Snohomish a lot longer than I thought it should last. The baskets are part of a huge collection I figured would take 2 years to sell and we're coming up on that time. I have some glass that I could've taken elsewhere that had been in that place too long, but I didn't have time to deal with it so it's on sale too! I also put fresh stock in even thought it's being discounted right away

I was never more windblown, wet, disheveled and sunburned at a show, but it went well despite it all! I'm glad we got to chat a little and that you got to meet Misty, she's a genuinely nice person. I'll catch you around, I'm going to do appraisals in New Harmony, Indiana at their antique show June 11 weekend
Your space looks great. I collect signed Art Nouveau and Art Deco bronzes, and some spelter . I also collect good glass (much of it mouth blown and signed), pottery, and basketry. I also have a good art collection and a large library including rare hand illuminated manuscripts. I see things I would enjoy.🖤🇨🇦
I like the sound of what you collect! I'm really attracted to bronzes and spelter of late. What a fun group of things and smart of you to focus on the handmade and irreplaceable
@@TheAntiqueNomad They give me a lot of pleasure. The bronzes are my big love, with glass a close second. All my tableware and cooking pots and bowls are made by a potter friend with a unique pattern. As a jeweller I also have a very large collection of cut gemstones. I’m due to have everything appraised again.🖤🇨🇦
