    Hi bro, I am using Nissan grand livina and would like to know about the connection that you mention on the orange wire (When turn on the small lights) as I'm confused. Nissan wiring diagram probably should be same.There is a wire where it must be connect to turn the small light on the panels. How do you connect those wire? As I'm stuck half way on replacing my head unit.Thank you (Simple English will be fine).

    • @ProvoBeastAudio

  • @100Paladins
    @100Paladins 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi, I am a rookie about cars. After I watch this, I still soooo confused about the "lines". There are 3 harness for the factory radio, but your car has been advantaged into that blue color harness system, idn why and how. Actually, that's the most difficult part in change an aftermarket head unit for a car I guess. Please teach me little bit if you see this. Thank you. (Simple English plz)

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This has a "blue" cable which is due to an external amplifier in the trunk. If you do not have a blue harness like mine, please disregard it along with the RCA cables. You just need to worry about the "wiring harness adapters" which is a wiring adapter that plugs into the factory radio plug. This wiring harness adapter labels all colors which you match with the the colors of your new radio. Please see this video as an example on how to wire a new radio: th-cam.com/video/qf8gyciOZME/w-d-xo.html

    How do I use the 9 wire with stock radio and lc2i "LOC" ........I want to replace door speakers but don't want to replace stock head unit, but also what to use amp for door speakers, but have to use LOC to connect amp......HELP!!!!!!!!!

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So, like in the video, the 9 wire is your amp speaker output wires. Since you will not be replacing your factor radio, you will have to cut the factory speaker wires in the main harness behind the radio. where you cut the wires, the ends that come from the radio will go into your line out converter LC2i which will convert the signal to an RCA connection to your amp. The other ends of the cut wires which go to the speakers, this is where you will connect your 9 wire to send the amplified signal to your speakers. Hopefully this makes sense.

    • @ProvoBeastAudio

      Sounds like a major wiring issue, and like you said, it may be the ground shorting. I would redo that ground and find a better spot to a metal surface with low resistance. Start there.

    Ive searched and searched for days trying to find a video about installing Dual Multimedia DVD Receiver w/ Bluetooth (xdvd256bt) into my 2014 Nissan Versa 4dr Sedan. (I undid the negative from the battery) I bought a antenna adapter and a harness. I went ahead and color coordinated the wires and used electrical tape.. I'm needing help figuring out where to mount the ground wire and I'm also wondering if I missed a step or something. Help would be much appreciated more than you think. Clearly I'm not much of a tech guy lol. 😥

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the wiring adapter harness for your car doesn't include a black wire (ground), then you will need to ground your radio (also a black wire) to any bare metal inside the dash cavity. Essentially, the radio just needs to be grounded to the chassis of your versa to complete the circuit.
