@Enfig, The left hand side molex connector you detached, is'nt that connected to the AIR BAGS? If it is then you need to go down to the dealership and have it set to original factory setting right?
This is an old video so I can't guarantee it but I'm pretty sure that on this car the system resets itself. If we had tripped an airbag light we would have not posted this video.
I have a 2006 Tiida/Versa (Australian) and I bought a new head unit but every search result returns links of the same plug mine has but mine has different factory colour code wires. can you please put up a quick video of the 2006 model head unit plug and list what each pin does. I really don't want to chase every wire to every speaker and figure it out that way. thank you in advance
Australia has a weird program where radios are installed at the port and they are not the normal radios that the rest of the world has. It happens to me with VW's all the time. Feel free to email us a picture of what you have.

I replace by myself my versa basic stereo for the a newest one. this new one has aux, ipod options and cd mp3 player. everything is fine and connectors are the same, music sounds well, radio is working, aux works well, but when I turn the lights on, the radio display is turning down. Whats wrong??
+Gustavo Hernández Anaya Sorry I misread. That is a feature of the radio. It is supposed to happen. Either disconnect the illumination wire or find the setting in the radio.

What is the size of the touch screen for the Nissan versa your installing ??
I do not remember the size but any standard radio should fit.

That is not how you remove the top part you will snap it!! Pry from back and it’ll unclick and slide forward

+Enfig well everything is ok, only the detail i mentioned before. diplays light must turn on in the night when I turn the ligths on haha.
