Hey Ted, I actually got some of Lda008 from you this summer. I purchased 6 , and I have had one successful spawn so far. Very small batch was produced. I counted so far about ten. Set up is simple. Sponge filter, bare bottom tank, a piece of driftwood, multiple caves. Rephashy community food and the occasional cucumber.
How's your Claro doing? I have x4 (1 male 3 Females) no luck yet! I also have a pair of L352 and x8 L183. I live Washington State and our water system has very soft water. pH is 7.2-7.6 I still use RO water for my L183. I like your videos! Definitely subscribed!!!
Hey Ted, what chemicals do u like to add when added general hardness and a little carbonate. this a topic I'm very interested in as my tap water has a pH of 6 with no general hardness or carbonate. what would u recommend to raise these as my non apistogramma tanks could crash without a kH. thank you for your jnput.
+1deaver I like Seachem's Equilibrium. It adds more general hardness than carbonate hardness. But it may add more KH than you want. You can also go the direct route by adding calcium carbonate directly. That will add the calcium side of GH and the KH. You can get the magnesium component of GH with magnesium sulfate (epsom salt). However, a product like Equilibrium contains more than just those ingredients, and is probably going to do a better job for you.

+feka88nk I am not sure, and it is hard to judge the age of wild fish, but these do not seem mature to me. Hopefully I will not have to wait too long
