- Today i show you all my bushynose pleco aquairums. I will show you how i care for them and breed them. They really are a super easy fish to breed in the aquarium and can turn a good profit.

I've been thinking about getting a pair of longfin green dragons from select aquatics, they are great looking fish.

What plants do you use in the big tank with the guppies? Also how many gallons is it? As well how many air sponge filters do you use?
There are a few anubias in there, but by far the majority is guppy grass. I run two sponge filters, a small one and the largest one they make, i dont remember the size off hand, maybe 7-8 inch sponge? It is a 55 gallon aquairum =)

Hey steen ! I know you've talked about changing your fishroom in past videos, could you do a video explaining on what you're changing ? Or if there's a video on it if someone could redirect me to it I must've missed that one ! Great videos, always look forward to them
I haven't made a video about what i am changing because it wont be happening until the weather warms up. So i dont want to bring it up and get everyone excited then make them wait 3 months. But basically ill be moving in a 240g, 125g, 120g, and trying to re-arrange everything so it all fits. Should be quite the challenge =)

How do you clean out the un eaten green beans with baby fry? I am having trouble keeping the bottom clean without ducking up babies or the beans getting a film on the and trapping in fry.
I leave them in for 24 hours, they usually dont last that long.
Not sure what the problem I am having with my super red fry is then. I am trying blanched squash now.

Nice video on rubber lip plecos. Is that the maximum size they grow. Like common pleco's do these dig up planted fish tanks. Liked and subscribed to your channel.

Are you trying to breed those white clouds in with the green dragons. The plecos wouldn't eat the white cloud eggs? Or is that what the jarva moss is for? I bet they love you at the aquarium club.
The plecos are primarily herbivores, so as long as i keep them fed they should leave them alone.

Beauty red bristlenose..I just crossed a super red with long Finn albino.dont u find that ur rainbows eat plecos fry same as the eggs from the pygmy rainbow would get gobbled up my plecos..awesome set ups tho👍👍😆
If I have a male super red pleco and standard brown female pleco. What will the baby fry be like? Brown or red,or some sort of mixed colour?
Hey mate, quick question for yourself or anyone that can shine some light on this for me. Just started out myself and bought a bristlenose. Had it in a 120L tank with some guppies, glass cats, and albino cory. The bristlenose however didn't seem to eat any of the food i put in the tank for her from veg wafers, cucumber or the left over flakes. All levels are good and pH is anywhere between 7-7.3. Running a aquaone 800lph filter (de-nitrate in the filter also) on one side of the tank with an airstone on the opposite side to create a current. Unfortunately she only lasted 6 days and died from what seems to be starvation. Any tips or help on what you believe could have gone wrong here?
Maybe you just had bad luck. Did you get her from someone trustworthy? If you didn't try feeding at night with lights out, you might want to try that next time (it could have been a shy fish)
After the death I tested everything with my waters and did a thorough search of the tank for anything that might be a causing factor but everything was fine so I bought two peppermints from a very trustworthy local breeder and they've been going great for 2 weeks now. Also found some eggs the other day with the male guarding them!
I bought the original common bn pleco the comment was about from a local pet shop as they had her by herself in an extremely small tank, my thoughts are either a shy fish as you said or poor handling by the pet store.

Nishan Rana usually twice a week. but sometimes im lazy and only once. no siphon, just pump it out.
I have a guppy breeding tank and was planning to add shrimps in as well, but they poop so much and was worried that the poop left behind might affect the nitrates for the shrimps, would it be a worry? and how much % water change would you do on yours?
If you have plants i wouldnt worry about it. My shrimp do great and the substrate is layered in poop lol. I do huge water changes, roughly 75%

Recently I have been seeing some of those in my fish tank as well, I deem them as bad so I try my best to net them out, any solutions on how to get rid of them?
They are just detritus worms. They are not harmful at all and usually make a good treat for the fish to feed on.
@@SteenfottAquatics Do you by any chance know where they came from? They just suddenly started to appear in my tank

These are super reds, the yellows are album is. They are always orange/red
Steenfott Aquatics mine are super red as well they come from the Cichlid exchange. I imagine the wholesaler has a weak color strain then... I shouldn't have bought them it was a mistake should have got them off eBay or something because I've only seen them yellow at any LFS that carries them from that wholesaler source. I'm just gonna call mine SUPER YELLOW I suppose..............

But there is a market for 20$ bushy nose selling for 10$, if you can produce more than demand at a certain price point then your lower the price until it raises demand to meet the supply. It's economics 101. Producing too many isn't a problem, its just a question of what produces the biggest profit margin.
