Way too cool! I used to live in that same apartment 34 years ago when I first came to New York City out of college. Back then the rent was $1,250 a month. I shared it with a girl I used to date in college that was a Penthouse Pet. LOL Geez, you brought back a lot of memories watching the video!
He was saying it was so loud outside but I’ve been living in NYC since I was born so hearing all those noises when I’m sleeping is actually pretty relaxing and will put me to sleep quickly
Hey the apartment is beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing!!!! I also “just” (about 7 months ago) got an apartment on my own. I agree about the mental health and having your own space vibes. Also love the art you have. Definitely going to check out those prints.
I love parquet flooring! It makes me think of New York! My 1956 house in Phoenix has parquet flooring in the living room, and I love it for that reason. Haha. Your apartment looks great!
Ayyyy Brett! I'm in the UES in my own 1 bedroom apartment! :) I actually bought it 2 years ago, saved up all my money (lived with my parents until I was 29) and finally bought my own 1 bedroom apartment. It is honestly my favorite place in the world.
I was so surprised to see a real one bedroom apartment that size, love it then comes the let let down the kitchen it’s horrible, but if you only eat Ben & Jerry it’s perfect. Enjoyed the video.
Hi Brett, recently discovered your content and I must say your videos have inspired me a lot. I always feel motivated watching your videos and hope I can make my dream come true of travelling the world being a TH-camr! Love from Kolkata, India!
That's a lot more apartment than I thought you could get in Midtown for $3,000. I gave up my 2-room (no bedroom) apartment in the East Village almost 20 years ago. It was in a gross roach infested 5-story walk up, two small windows, no view, peeling paint. And it was half this price.
Wow, that's a neat apartment! I'm a new subscriber and just watched your video that you uploaded 3 years ago and then watched this. I wondered why you moved out since you said you're having fun living with your sis and your friends from the previous apartment. After you explained why you moved out, I understand where you're coming from. Having your own space will give you that clarity and inspiration. Thanks for this awesome vid 🤟
I love the Flat Iron Building! Such history there. Across the street is a filming location for Sweet Smell of Success with Tony Curtis And Burt Lancaster. My daughter is a film editor in New York City and we go to Madison Park all the time. And Union Square. Her kitchen is about the size of yours but honestly she orders in most of the time ha ha …
The natural sunlight is amazing it means god is smiling on your space and don’t get me started on the amazing views 🙏🏿 this is beautiful congratulations Brett you deserve it all darlin👏🏾😄👏🏾
Man I've recently came to NYC renting out the smallest space I've ever been in my life for nearly 1k, I look forward to the day where I can have an apartment like this with a different choice of Ben & Jerry's every day 🤣
Everyone loves the luxury life the problems most people have about buying luxuries are having enough money to buy one, but that won't matter if you have a stable financial life.
I agree with you and I believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you earn more money, I don't know who agrees with me but either way I recommend either real estate or crypto and stocks.
@Jairo Ramos yes, Mark Ruben is the best. He is the only one I can leave my investment with and think less about it, he is my money maker. I just received $13,000 of my investment last month. I am very happy because he is leading me to financial freedom.
Great flat Brett! Here's the challenge. Let's see what color the white couch is a year from today. 😁 Lol. I couldn't get away with having such a light couch. Eventually myself or one of my friend's or family member's would spill something and the couch would no longer be that beautiful clean lovely shade of white. Your a brave man. Best of luck to you and your couch! I'm looking forward to your next adventure. Take care.
The first thing I noticed were those disgusting parquet floors, how I detest them...not as hard to tolerate with a dark stain tho'. Loved the video and fantastic view you have. Most of all it's great to see you happy!
oh damn bro thats a sweet pad... I felt like I was back in NYC... Back in 2008 before the GFC I was working in NYC and lived in that exact building. Soon as I seen that Balcony shot I was like OMG i woke up to that view every morning. your just down the road from some of the best indian food in NYC.. good cheap indian food. not a bad rate your getting. Qantas paid over $1,500 per month for that same building for a 1 bedroom back over 15yrs ago. Love your videos bro
Hell yeah Brett, glad you kept the place to yourself. It’s quite the find! Real estate in NYC is brutal right now so this is like a New Yorkers dream!
so true is very good he kept this place for himself, is very $$$ stay, NYC find this place is just wow.
I think it's brutal everywhere in the world now. Even when you have bought a house!
You’re apartment is so amazing I would never get over those views. Perfect for a morning coffee and book
Best way to start every day.
@@brettconti as long as it’s lavazza!
Someone get this man a Ben & Jerry's partnership 🤣

SCAM DO NOT SEND THAT GUY A MESSAGE
Same apt or same building?
@@JB11ISGOD What happens if he sends him a message?
@christian a
I accidentally wrote for other TH-camr on other vid and the comment came here to Brett’s commments and not the other TH-camrs comments.
Loved the ending and how you brought it back to reflecting on your early days. Go Brett!! You've worked so hard!
3000 for that apartment is amazing. Great deal in todays market!!
Glad you decided to stay! It's such a cool place and totally fits you.
Wow I bet this has been A rent-stabilized apartment! Now even a room isn’t $3000 in manhattan! Luck you, Brett! Happy for you!
He was saying it was so loud outside but I’ve been living in NYC since I was born so hearing all those noises when I’m sleeping is actually pretty relaxing and will put me to sleep quickly
Nothing like the sounds of home to put you to sleep. It gives you a sense of security.
Great video Brett!! Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
Arrecho loco¡¡¡ una de mis metas es comprarme un penhouse en Manhattan
$3K for a one bedroom near Madison Square Park is incredible! Love your views!

Wow - what a beautiful find! Really appreciate you sharing the space - surprised at how spacious it actually is for that (approximate) location.

It’s way below market price for that area of Manhattan. I would believe it if it was in Brooklyn or Queens. Maybe if it’s under rent stabilization.
Congrats Bro! That’s fantastic!
Beautiful spot, Brett! Really inspiring
Great apartment! & LOVE the Ben & Jerry's!!
Bachelor pad at its finest awesome growth and mindset man .
Really glad that your going along your achivments.. much respect.. keep going!!
Loved the apartment from the start it is awesome the view through the window at night so amazing really loved it !!

3k for those views? getting grandfathered in by your landlord must be nice. That's gotta be 4.5k at current market price!
I'm currently looking for an appartement and Yea absolutely.. no way this large 1bd is priced 3k today
Wonderful edit Brett
Glad you stayed! Place looks great. 👌
Movin on up!!! Congrats

You could get an island and double the size of your kitchen! You could own Foosball playing yourself. I love the apartment!

Thank you Christian! ❤️
This guy is so easily entertaining
I love your apartment!
The parquet floors are definitely a NYC thing. When I was a kid, my grandmother in Forest Hills had the same floors in her 50s era apartment building.
Why No curtains for the night ?
serious question, why American wear shoes inside the house? 😫 isn't that making it hard to keep the floors clean?
Loving that sofa!! Damn I need it!
Nice pad and I'm loving the skateboard shelves and thinking to myself why did I not think of that
Wow Brett you inspire me a lot great video
amazing views, great windows. nice!
Absolutely love your Apartment setup! Its perfect! 👌🏻👍🏻
Is the apartment rent stabilized? I’m surprised the landlords didn’t jack up the rent like crazy
i like this video so much, very beautiful views and you place are just wow, i like this serenity, and peace to this place, you so deserve it.
Happy to replace Gabe since I'm Gabe too! The apt looks great opened up!

That apartment is a New Yorkers dream

Your appartement needs Windex, both for your windows and coffee table 😂.
Just trolling. Enjoyed the video!
Keep up the great work
So expensive. Best to commute and have clean fresh air but I'm sure the vibe is cool centrally as long as you can sleep thru the sirens!
Loving the new apartment very fancy
I got the same rug. MILWAUKEE!!!
Ben & Jerry’s is all you need bro
