I’ve lived in the Bronx my entire life. I’m always pointing out all the negatives in this place and NYC as a whole, but this video made me appreciate the city a little more. In my opinion, it’s still not worth the high cost of living and the crime. But you did a great job at capturing the beauty and portraying NYC for what it is, the cultural Mecca of the world.
London is the cultural Mecca and it isn’t as segregated. Less hate, less crime, less murder, better unemployment rate, easier to escape poverty, and no. 1 job opportunity city globally.
@@JohnSmith-sm7ez I was just in London and I did see some of what you are talking about. Class issues , race issues, poverty is something that affects every city all over the world for better or worse.

When I walked the streets of NYC I got the feeling of being together with people. When I walk in Paris (even though I am fluent in french) I feel foreigner and lonely. The same happened in Berlin and London. I get the conclusion that NYC is a puzzle from all nationalities so the need of "being together" is in the air. People are so friendly. Noboby talks to you in Europe so openly. I think the famous series "Friends" made that clear! Kisses from a very very hot Athens - Greece.
But it isn’t. So historically greater? Iconic moments? World influence? Inventions? London beats NY hands down. Any city with 2500 murders a few decades ago is truly not great. London is greener, better infrastructure, better schools/universities… Ranks better for shopping, sport(US sports now play official league games in London) job opportunities, entertainment, museums….. Even little things like bars , London is no. 1 globally. Most 5 star hotels….London is most diverse globally, much better unemployment rate. New York 8%🙈. I’ll give New York Art scene, Finance , just, and Food, just. A few more Michelin restaurants… that will all change within 5 years. Anyway Tokyo has over 200 more Michelin restaurants. Paris has 60 more. Americans are just better at selling the ‘greatest’ chat.
