I think the worst part of Mayday’s death is that it was so long and painful; he was internally bleeding, and basically drowned in his own blood. Hearing him gag like that before he passed away was horrifying, because even if they had gotten a medic, he would’ve most likely died anyway.
I just want to highlight one thing- when Crosshair put Maydays helment on him and lifted him up, we once again heard the Clone theme. The feels. Also Mayday, my beloved

Crosshair is by far the best character to come out of this show. Both of his episodes this season have been excellent.

This was by far the best episode of the Bad Batch that I have watched to date! It also made me feel incredible sorry for Crosshair 😢

In the clone wars Crosshair doesn't care about the regs, he thought he was superior to them but years have passed you can see he's approach more and more to the regs and started caring about them and seeing them as brothers, seeing Mayday died Infront of him that was his breaking point and realize that the Empire are evil that they don't care about the clones anymore
I think it’s because in the Republic, The Bad Batch was treated as superior and given more special missions. Whereas in the Empire, all clones are treated as equally inferior to regular humans.
RIP Mayday, sassiest clone of all time. Our time together was too short.
I said a couple weeks ago that Rampart was the worst person in the galaxy but I was wrong. This nerfherder takes the cake. Good job Crosshairs for gunning him down.
That final blaster shot was SO fucking satisfying, it was like a giant weight being lifted off of my back, knowing that Crosshair is finally seeing the truth and coming around, UGHHHHHHHHHHH RELIEF.
Did anyone else pick up on the fact that at the start of the episode, the Officer tells him to "get in uniform" and throughout the episode his Helmet kept being forcefully taken off, almost like he is being forced to defect. Its like poetry it rhymes🙏
Also love Crosshair looking up at the Vultures, like they are gonna eat someone it's just a matter off if its you or this officer cause he ain't gonna help you
I think any clones who go "missing" or AWOL end up where Crosshair is, so we might see a full blown reunion for the Batch, Rex and Cody, and other clones as well and it will probably lead to a clone rebellion, which Im hoping to see. Another awesome reaction, now on to the next
I’m obsessed with the Predo Pascal cutout. Crosshair’s character development PEAKED! I didn’t expect him to not only care, but EMBRACE his brother for warmth?!I love him so much. I’m worried that the imperial doctors will perform experiments on Crosshair. But here’s hoping someone will rescue him.

This is 2 weeks in a row the Bad Batch episode has been straight up better than the Mandalorian episode that comes out at the same time. Last week Mando was basically doing all set up, so as a stand alone episode it was understandably only so so. This week Mando came out with an excellent episode and Bad Batch still managed to top them. Impressive. Most Impressive.

Crosshair is becoming one of the interesting characters in all of Star Wars.
In today’s episode, filoni has decided to give everyone emotional damage. Also I feel like some hints of what the finale has been placed. There is a slight chance that Omega might be captured and might see Crosshair at that facility with Nala Se. Then there is a slight chance that the bad batch will be reunited. Not to mention, we are going completely blind. Everything that the trailers showed has come out, so now I don’t know what to expect😣 Also when Mayday asked for his name, I realized that it was the only time he wanted a NAME not a CT number. I’m off to cry now🥲

Some people think they will make Crosshair a death trooper, if that's the case Crosshair will probably be the one hunting Omega and not rescuing her.

This is confident, serious storytelling. The team is not afraid to bench the main squad when the story calls for focus on Crosshairs
No force shenanigans, no cute gimmicks, just a gritty journey with a hard earned payoff. Bad Batch has become such a surprisingly mature show, a terrific followup to the sort of storytelling we got in Andor.
In particular, I love how it was not one speech, nor one gesture that turned Crosshairs - it was the GRIND of imperialism, overtime, that drove him to act. It took time, not magic, and it made the move hit that much harder
We need to salute Jennifer Corbett and Matt Matsovich (sp?), the writing team on this. Dave is the creator, but these folks put in work
Just think about that the Clones fought trough a war. And as horrible war is, it was an open battle for them. A tasked they were trained for. But what happens now is heart breaking. They are stabbed and left to bleed out by the new "leadership".

It's nice to see how one clone can reach our feelings in like 20-30 mins. Compared to the sequels... I think i dont have to say anything. Rip Mayday

Cross-hair's redemption arc; we're seeing the continuation of it (it started when he went on that mission with Commander Cody).

Mayday's armor doesn't just look cool. His armor is the reflection of his very words: "Empire doesn't help me so I have to improvise". He taped all over his broken armor so he couldn't get cold.
AND it looks freaking cool.

How is an animated series allowed to be this emotional 🥺 It is nice to finally see Crosshair realising that maybe the Empire isn't all they are made out to be.
We’ve seen that crosshair still has some good in him when he saved omega from drowning in season 1 but this was the final straw for him I think. I hope he either gets saved by omega when/if she gets taken to the place he’s at or he saves her. I hope they don’t turn him into the first Dark Trooper.😢
Incredible written episode. It is like watching a great war movie/series converted to Star Wars.

It’s interesting how both The Bad Batch and Crosshair are both questioning their loyalties to the people and organizations they thought they could trust. I think eventually they’ll find who and what they can truly trust and should be committed to.
I’m really enjoying the more mature tone and pacing of this show.
The character development of Crosshair is wow!
Louise do not forget that Dave was George's padawan and George allowed him to create Ashoka. Dave truly understands SW and George knew that and allowed him to grow. Now years later we're seeing Dave as a Jedi master and his story telling is real SW.
Dave created the Bad Batch but he has actually never written an episode for it.
Crosshair has become (no dis to the others they're all very good) the most compelling character over this series. I'm glad he's there for a rescue but I believe the reason he's at that facility is to lure them there. I think Hemlock is going to be a very good villain.

What a masterpiece of an episode
I hate to say it, but I'm pretty sure we're heading into "fate worse than death" territory. We got to see him finally see the light, but after they're done turning him into ... well ... "a believer" ...
I'm probably stating the obvious here, but I think narratively speaking, Crosshair needed to go on this journey, form an attachment to Mayday, only to lose him at the end. And that is what leads to Crosshair's redemption.
And he needed to see the Lieutenant be a dick and he needed to see that the precious cargo was equipment for Storm Troopers. Metaphorically, a clone's life is not as important to the Empire as the equipment for their replacements. That is sheer irony right there.

The problem is that those do happen in real life. There are usually 2 kinds of officers. 1 who plays with his/her ego & is more authoritative. The other who’s willing to cooperate & treat his/her subordinates fairly. These Clones have been through real combat vs someone fresh out of the academy or college who’ve never been in real combat situation. Yes, Military Academy is a college specialized for military purposes. However, if we can’t respect the man, respect the rank at least.
The prejudice/racism towards Clones does make sense after the Emperor gave the speech about them inflicting carnage without hesitation. Wiped out a whole civilization and Clones are blamed for that which I think why LT. Nolan treated them as such. Given that the whole world knows about this twisted truth.
In reality, many people know the right thing but can't really do much. There's always a big risk when challenging someone with such power. Your families & friends will always be at risk. Their fate will be decided when it comes down to our decision whether they support you or not. Whether they support your enemy or not. For example, the more resistance fight we put up, the more innocent civilians will be subjected to execution. An eye for an eye and the world goes blind. Their common excuse such as conspiring/collaborating with the enemy, harboring known enemies/traitors, etc.
Stormtroopers (Non-Clones) - The problem with many is that they judge a book by it’s cover. For example, wearing glasses means you’re a nerd, no exceptions. Same could be said thinking Stormtroopers & Clones are alike cuz their armor is white. It’s already been pointed out their difference.
1) Clones look all the same without their helmets.
2) Stormtroopers are non-clones. Literal actual human beings. Civilians who swore their loyalty to the Empire. Very few exceptions are aliens such as Grand Admiral Thrawn. Yes, it’s very rare to have aliens in any military positions.
3) Clones end up decommissioned after the war. Because they’re too expensive to produce.
4) Clone War(s) & Galactic Civil War are 2 different wars. Clone Wars lasted for 3yrs while Galactic Civil War is 5yrs.
5) The only few Clones that are in the Galactic Civil War are Purge troopers & 501st Legion (Lord Vader’s Division)
6) The Clones’ skill level & efficiency are far superior than any normal beings.
7) Clones are produced like a manufacturing product. Stormtroopers are natural born human beings.
8) Clones age faster than Stormtroopers. Yes, many to all Clones are 10-13yrs. old in an adult body for 1st Generation Clones. Attack of the Clones Episode II, Sifo Dyas was killed nearly 10 years ago before the war said by Kenobi. The rest of the clones in that 3 year war were only 1-3yrs. old, the ones that were newly produced on Kamino.
Millions being made in that short span of time. In the Clone War Series, the senate did discuss a purchase of 5 million Clone troopers by deregulating the banks and getting a large loan from the banking clan to fund for faster reproduction of Clones.
As far as we know Howser's in jail on Ryloth.
i was thinking the cargo was important, like the enslaved relatives of the raiders. for them to keep raiding the outpost for just a bunch of uniforms is a bit odd.

I think Crosshair is gonna escape with Omega when the BB attack the base to free them but the escape goes wrong and crosshair decides to sacrifice himself to save omega 😢
There is nothing wrong for simpin for a clone. The clones are amazing characters in the SW Universe

can we talk about the music I think Kevin Kiner outdid himself again. Going forward I think they sent Crosshair to get Omega. I don't think he will rejoin the Batch. I would love to see him to get ordered by Tarkin to weed out the incompetent officers.

It was sad that mayday died, it so bad that we love the clones that stand up and somehow the end up dying, from clone wars to the bad batch there are always awesome clones who win our hearts and then they die that is sad, but I think maybe maybe they are putting him trough a simulation, that is my opinion I can be wrong but it seems they are like testing on him

This one and episode 3 "The solitary clone" have been the best, so far, of the two seasons. The others are far below, generic or filler. But this is another level, on a par with the mature stage of Clone Wars.
I'm much more interested in Crosshair's story arc than the rest of Clone force 99. Jennifer Corbett wrote a great episode!
