This episode I’d say is on par with some of the best clone wars episodes
They confirmed he did have his chip removed. They didn’t say exactly when, just that you notice a change in his behavior, which most figure is after he gets all burned up
One of the best episodes out of this series so far. Crosshair finally sees that the Empire sees him and all clones as expendable. Hopefully he joins with the rest of the Batch by the end of this season!
Look, I’d love for that to happen, but I think it’s going to go dark. Here’s my theory:
Notice how the doctor at the end is dressed a lot like Pershing in The Mandalorian? I’m betting Crosshair will be experimented on and turned into an early version of a Dark Trooper - Pershing himself mentions that the human element was the final weakness solved in the versions faced by Din at the end of Mando season 2. I’m guessing the BB will face off against him at the end of the season and loose someone in doing so. 😢💔

I don't want that to happen, that's way to generic of writing just to appease the viewers. A great writer doesn't write a story that just gives the viewer what they want. They write the story they want to tell and you either enjoy it or don't. I would prefer Crosshair ends up going rogue like Cody, maybe teams up with Cody and they go around trying to save some clones before they get replaced or killed, ultimately they cross paths with Bad Batch again and in the end after Crosshair causes a big enough ruffle in the empires plans, he sacrifices himself for Hunter as his way of making amends.

I hope he will never reunite with the Batch again, since they cared about him even less than the Empire did. They just don't deserve him at that point tbh.

Crosshair is going to be incorporated into the Empire's Dark Trooper program. Remember in Mando Chapter 16, Dr Pershing revealed that the perfected Phase 3 Dark Troopers had eliminated the human element. This is a fate worse than death for Crosshair. Bad Batch will either save him or his redemption will come after he wakes up to discover that he is no longer human...
If this level of serious storytelling appeals to you, you’re gonna love Andor. This was amazing - gritty, depressing, hard hitting, and beautifully made
Possibly but not necessarily. I really liked this episode but I wasnt the biggest fan of Andor. I think there are other things that differentiate the two even though they both share these dark themes. You're right though that since he liked this he may be more likely to like Andor too.
I'll never watch Andor. Main issue is I couldn't care less about any of the characters in it.

Crosshair finally sees the truth the Empire: they don’t care about clones beyond being expendable soldiers.
It seems like they have a more clear path/character arc for cross hair more than the bad batch, episodes that feature him always seem to lean into the the darker side of the things

Even Rampart knew how far to take his disdain for clones. The Lt. took things way too far and found out.

We have seen the scientist working on Crosshair in the previous episode, which means he ended up in the exact same place. The empire wants to bring Omega there to get Nala Se to work again and the bad batch found out about the Zillo beast and also send the information to Rex and Echo, so the final arc will probably include them going there to ruin the empire's plans again, which gives them the chance to run into Crosshair again. Now we have basically everything prepared.
In the first season, Crosshair was the guy who hunted the bad batch for almost the entire season and it's good writing that they didn't just let him do the same thing again, but let the story go in a different direction. How much we can expect from the final arc also depends on the question if the show will be finished then or if we can expect another season. I hope there will be a third season, I always liked the animated star wars shows the most.

That admiral that let Mayday die had it coming. I love how they made Crosshair develop but that also means he’s now on the empire’s hit list. Maybe in a future episode he’ll escape and reunite with the Bad Batch.

I really hope Crosshair doesn’t end up as one of the prototypes for the Dark Troopers in the future. The animation to express the emotion on his face was stellar. Fitting coz like you mentioned in the beginning, it’s hard to tell how he thinks. His experience with Mayday, he eventually showed his true emotions.
As Star Wars Explained said, "In the empire, everyone is expendable except for the Emperor". Nobody from the stormtroopers to the moffs are valued. Thrawn goes missing? Move on. Tarkhin dies? Move on. Vader is having loyalty issues? Nearly kill him and make it clear to him that he too is replaceable.
Too bad Crosshair and the lieutenant loser had to learn that the hard way.
Possibly one of my favorite animated Star Wars episodes, it’s at the very least top 5. An amazing standalone episode which isn’t filler. Crosshair’s progression has come a long way. Once willing to let a Reg die, now begging for a Reg to be saved. Crosshair has to be the best character on the show.
Season 7 Crosshair: Oh I don't blame you I would have left him for dead too. After all he's just another reg.

I'm getting tired of guessing stuff lol. As soon as they said they were guarding crates and hadn't looked in them, I instantly knew it was Storm Trooper helmets lol. My mind is linked up with Jon and Dave lol.
8:26 Possibly one of the most powerful lines in a series that is ultimately about clones.
I really think this is all because Lama Su told them about the Bad Batch. Crosshair was one of the Bad Batch and he was also the last known person to reportedly have seen them. Crosshair is either going to be sent to find them, or he will be bait. I do think there is a possibility that Echo and Rex could be tracking down the Clone facility and might rescue him. Bad Batch sent the zillo info to Rex and Echo.
Its gotta be the darkest episode of the show. Crosshair finally cracked, and its gonna cost him....
Is there an explanation for where these wicked evil Imperials came from? Did the Empire say “hiring all horrible people” or something?
Probably always been there just kinda hidden till this new phase and now they feel confident talking down on the clones cuz they don’t need them
Loved Mayday. Loved Crosshair killing Lieutenant and getting his attention to do it. I agree about this season.
This is my top favorite just due to the development crosshair had in the episode and mayday as a awesome clone
Crosshair bringing mayday back to the base reminds me off the starts off Red dead redemption 2, has a similar vibe, the camera angles and the music and stuff.
That was one of the medics at Mount Tantiss, so I really worry about Crosshair. Is he to become one of the early Death Troopers? Maybe into a 'true believer' like the assassin who tried to take out Senator Chuchi? This is bad, all around, and we have to hope he somehow is reunited with his brothers who can drag him back from whatever the Empire did to him...
That's what I think. Everyone keeps saying DKTs, but from the very first episode of the first season, I said his armour must look like a Death Trooper prototype for a reason... And Death Troopers first appeared in 18BBY, so we're nearing that timeframe now...
I think Crosshair is going to have a Vader style redemption where he becomes good again but dies

In my opinion the writers laid the Lieutenant's cruelty on a little too thick, which tarnished an otherwise superb episode.
If they had toned down his straight up evil personality just a little, I feel like it would have made Crosshair's decision to kill him all the more impactful.

Crosshair's chip is definitely out. It's part of his major character arc. His decisions were no different with it out. This means _he's responsible for his choices._ It makes it far more tragic IMO.
We saw the doctor in the other episode, he wants the Kaminoan scientist lady to cooperate. I'm guessing he will try to make Crosshair into an assassin clone like that other one who had no clone markings...Also there was nothing that could have been done to save Mayday, even if that guy wasn't an asshole, and if he said alright I'll help him and called for help....Mayday died 3 seconds later lol, they wouldn't even be able to get to him in time before he died, let alone get him inside to treat him.
He is with the new cloners, prolly Omega is gonna get captured by them too and the BB will come rescue her and find Crosshair there.
Definitely my second favorite bad batch member.

I think they might use him to try to get the Bad Batch and Omega, which they want so they can control Nala Se. The woman at the end mentioned the doctor, who I think is Doctor Hemlock from last episode. I don't know if they'll grill Crosshair for info, send him out to hunt them, or use him as bait, but I think something like this will happen.

This is where he might sacrifice himself to save them...once he realizes what the Empire has turned him into... Maybe I'm off by a mile but that doctor sedated him just as she said "if you cooperate, you may just survive." What will he wake up to find that he has survived???
Man what are they about to do to Crosshair?! Some type of experiment? Hope we revisit this Wednesday.
My guess is that the Empire is going to cut him up and turn him into their first Dark Trooper experiment.

With Bad Batch’s season almost done I do recommend checking out Star Wars Visions, the anthology of anime shorts, since the second season is coming out in May. Some of Visions’ shorts aren’t that good but 4-5 of them are great, with one in particular I’d say could have been it’s own movie
The thing you don’t understand is that all imperial commanders and luitenants are like this , bro I’ve never had this much rage or anger watching a show ,
This season has had a lot better quality episodes imo. There’s been at least 4 episodes that are a 9 to a 10/10

I loved this episode so much.
It seems to come back is truly more stronger than ever my friends. It looks like Star Wars is coming back stronger than ever has been just like Disney.
Of course, there are always corruptions we will endure there are plenty ways to go about it.
And I agree, one of the better episodes, perhaps if not the best of the season.
This is my favorite episode of the season, second is ep3 w crosshair and cody. Ngl it seems like the writers tend to go off whenever crosshair/empire is involved. On the “fillers” it seems almost like they arent rlly trying for much of it, but this stuff is fucking amazing

A dark fact:
As chansellor and emperor, Palpatine gave some the highest military position to members of the Coruscant elite (rich people). Most of them were completely incompetent morons with zero military experience or training. He did this to grantee support form the wealthiest/influential families in his war efforts, to ease legitimation of his as emperor and other shady operations.
Lieutenant Nolan is most likely from one these elite families hence why he is a complete d#%k.
P. S. There were exceptions to this however like Admiral Yularen. He from one of the elite families on Coruscant, but he had actual military training and experience prior to The Clone War
I have a theory, that he will call bad batch to rescue him from the empire, and then die to save them.
I hated that lieutenant, when crosshairs killed him, I jumped off the couch cheering
that episode hurt so much not only for Crosshair but for all the other clones. for what will happen 2 ideas 1) he becomes one of those assassins? we saw before like that other clone. 2) he becomes a Dark trooper type 0 which were former clones with cybernetics like Darth Vader. and he goes after Omega. And the Bad batch find him like that. It's going to be heartbreaking for all of them exceptionally OMEGA. Also, that last scene is at Mt Tantis on Wayland home to their imperial lab that does medical experiments like Cloning.
Crosshair has a heart? Ehhh, he cares for his fellow clones, not really anybody else lol. He has no trouble executing anyone else. Even innocent people.
The Lieutenant has the same VA as Percy from Vox Machina btw.
Emerie, she looks at Nala Se in the previous episode when Dr Hemlock finishes with his visit to her cell 🤔. For some reason, I have a feeling that she's a sympathetic character maybe secretly a rebel 🤔🤯?! (I could be wrong, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see 🤔.)
Honestly, if something surprised me more than Crosshair finally going 'fuck the Empire'. It's that they showed blood on screen, and a lot of it too. Censorship laws are extremely strict, so it makes you wonder what strings Disney had to pull in order to show blood from someone being shot?
Here's something to remember the Senate building broadcast their meetings on the holo net so civilians that join the Empire saw what the clones did on kamino. So there's ANOTHER layer of hate on the clones not just this asshole Nolan. Then there are clones like the bad batch that are more likely fighting back so they're seen as traitors. THEN THERE'S ANOTHER thing at the end of the episode that makes this episode EXTREMELY dark with Crosshair. The beginning of the dark trooper program. That's when they capture traitor clones and brain wash them, torture them and operate on them with enhancements. I.e droid parts.
Palpatine really just be working his strings on his puppets.
The one thing I appreciate this show for is that Order 66 seems so long ago now and we kinda forgot about it. Like how long has it been? Mayday could have been a clone that killed a jedi and we still love em. Just shows how some of the Jedi truly cared or at least respected them.

I'm not sure it's ego, It's wealth. He's a pay to be. There are 2 kinds if officers in the empire. There are those who earn their posts by climbing the ranks correctly by attending the imperial academy and then there are the pay to be's, the officers who either pay a large sum of money or have close connections with someone or family already with power. These are the worst officers to ever be

I always hated the imperial officers because they always think they’re above everyone for some reason especially during the early days of the Empire, like the clone war JUST ended who tf are you to be talking down on these literal war veterans who played a huge part in forging this Empire. this episode just makes me hate them even more. Hell even Vader can’t stand the officers for nearly the same reasons as me and it really puts an honest to god smile on my face when he chokes one out to show them they aren’t sh*t and that in the grand scheme of things they’re just as expendable as everyone else. Just pawns that can be thrown away and sacrificed by the Sith. I didn’t mean to type this much but HOLY GODDAMN HELL this episode got my Sith eyes ignited. I just felt a need to vent

Brandon Lee tragically got shot on the set of the movie due to a prop gun with a piece of left over blank bullet residue, the crew thought Brandon was playing joke when scene was over and when he was laying on the floor he wasn’t moving but when they got closer they saw it was serious and rushed Brandon Lee to the hospital, the doctors did everything they could but it was too late Brandon Lee passed away at the age of 28.
Some scenes aren’t Brandon it’s his body double Chad Stahelski, Chad is the director of the John Wick franchise. The director of The Crow Alex Proyas had too cut and add new scenes for the movie because of happened to Brandon. They also CGI Brandon Lee face on too Chad face and the makeup artist made a face mask of Brandon face for chad to wear. All scenes were they don’t show Brandon Lee face it’s Chad
Brandon was supposed get married to his fiancée Eliza Hutton after The Crow finished filming.
After Brandon was supposed to get married Brandon was going to a sign a two-year deal to continue The Crow storyline. The Crow is comic book/graphic novel created by James O'Barr.
Before entering the Marines, O'Barr's fiancée Beverly had been killed by a drunk driver.
While living in Berlin in 1981, O'Barr began work on his comic The Crow as a means of dealing with his personal tragedy.
O'Barr was further inspired by a Detroit newspaper account of the murder of a young couple over a $20 engagement ring.
In The Crow, the protagonist, Eric and his fiancée Shelly are murdered by a gang of criminals. Eric then returns from the dead guided by a supernatural crow, to hunt their killers.

This movie has the best soundtrack of all time according to Rolling Stones magazine, Revolver Magazine etc. and the movie score is amazing as well.

Hey, an idea to run by you as you get closer to catching up on all the Star Wars content later on this year. Maybe go back and rewatch your favorite story arcs/episodes of Clone Wars and Rebels like you did with the prequels and original trilogy. I'm sure watching Sidious fighting Maul and Savage would be fun to revisit. Or Ahsoka fighting Vader. Just a thought for you to ponder on.

Facts. I never got into reaction videos but then I see one of his vids pop up in my feed about two years ago saying he was watching the OG Star Wars for the first time. I thought, "There's no way he's never seen Star Wars before!" and one day when I was bored I decided to check it out since I wanted to see how badly he was going to fake not seeing it before. Picture me surprise when I saw that it was legit. Something about watching him experience it for the first time almost brought back that feeling I got the first time I saw and that was a good feeling. Been watching most of his vids since then. Still find if funny that he said he hoped he didn't turn into one of those hardcore fans who buys all that stuff, look at him now lol.

We are seeing the origins of the Dark Trooper.
In the Mandalorian we see version 3 of the Dark Trooper. I am afraid Crosshair’s story will be a truly tragic one. Experiments and metal parts (think General Grievous) were always deemed an abomination to The Clones but this is the underlying arc for The Empire and (unfortunately) the Emperor’s horcrux plot line 😒.
So imo I think Crosshair will be the very first Dark Trooper.
